It's quite simple. If you have an MSN account, you can add one of the extensions (for example *unicef) to your Messenger username. An 'IM' emotion should come up. For every instant message you make, it contributes to charity. Pretty brilliant eh? You should be able to find all the extensions on that page :).

I'm an avid user of MSN, and I think the I'm initiative is absolutely phenomenal.

I agree. I'm not much of an MSNer, but if it was on AIM, I would totally use it to the max!
