What Would You Buy For A New Born?

Having had 2 kids myself I know the importance of the basic things for a newborn.

T-shirts
light blankets (for wrapping the baby)
pajama's
bath stuff
diapers and wipes

Trust me on this.....the parents will appreciate the basics for when the baby is born more so than something they will have to put away until the baby is older.
And you can put the stuff in a cute little laundry basket and add some baby laundry soap too as babies have very sensitive skin and require using a different laundry soap.

Just some suggestions from a mom who's been there.

Thanks MissM. Yeah, I've been told by others things that they'll need to get anyway will probably be more appreciated than the cliche cutesy things they would normally get for such a time.
The laundry basket it a great idea. :D
I've also gotta note that this is me being a first time uncle - so I'm also setting a precedent with the gift I get.

I'm sure whatever you choose to give the new parents will be welcomed.

A Godless life seems sweeter
A leash (for a joke) and a packet of dummies

And, if they're friends, I'm sure a few babysitting vouchers wouldn't go astray =D
