So far, I've enjoyed the game a lot. Despite my reservations about the copyright business, and the over-all dumbing-down of the game from the original videos, it's rather fun, if not fleeting.

Anyone else got the game? Opinions?

I haven't been up-to-date on the entire copyright issue of the game. That article proved useful.

I haven't played Spore yet, I'm not sure why. A lot of people seem to be enjoying the game. I remember all those mudkips you made a few months back. Wasn't there an evolution process in it? I can't remember if there that was from a different game.

That was from like a pre-release "Creature creator" where you could just make monsters, rather than actually the full game.

In the actual game, you have to earn the parts and stuff.

Ah, so most of the videos I've seen we're demos then. The actual game must be a blast then. :P

I've had the game since America's launch day, and I've had some good fun with it. I've been a bit busier than I've hoped to be, so I haven't played as much as I've wanted to (damn you school....and Rock Band 2), but I have enjoyed what I have been able to play so far. It's a real shame that it's not as complex as it was originally going to be, but that doesn't make it bad by any means.

I was looking at buying this game, I downloaded a demo off the Wii and it looked really good but I haven't gotten round to buying it yet.

I made some really funny looking creators on it :P

Edit: I played a demon at Uni and I loved it so much I want and brought it. XD
It is 10 times better for PC than DS.
