Just dive in, this is currently here to help develop the full battle style of the game. People who don't want to take part in the main RP, but want a go anyway to see if they like it, can play here (you have to have a character in the character thread, though)

Currently, here's the rules: (Edited slightly after my test session)


  • One battle action per post.

  • A battle must go in the order: Attack, Block, Trick, then back to attack again.

  • For clarity, state what turn it is (Attack) (block) (trick) in your post before dice roll, you must also name your character you are playing as in the post, and who you are attacking/interacting with.

  • To attack, your ATT stat is added to the dice roll.

  • To block an attack, the attack must be stated first, then the next person can defend against it using their DEF stat + dice roll. A blocked attack does nothing. However, if the defence is lower, it counts as a Hit. If attack and defence are equal, it counts as a block.

  • After the opponent blocked (successful or not), the player must use a trick. The trick uses INT + dice roll. If the trick is higher than the next attack then you have tricked your opponent. If you have an item, such as a sleeping potion or weapon you can use it on your enemy. If not, it does nothing.

  • To run from a battle, you use your trick round. If your INT + dice roll is higher than the NEXT attack, (not the previous defence) then you have successfully escaped.

  • After five successful Hits, you have been defeated


These rules are slightly different from the ones I stated earlier, in an attempt to make it fairer.

In this practise, all characters have:

1 Sleeping Potion (puts the enemy to sleep for the next attack)
1 Weapon of choice (only does one Hit)

Teracutta, unhappily minding her own business; currently haunting an alley, floats around next to a pile of scrap. She thinks about her better days, when she actually had a body. This makes her more unhappy. Angrily, she slashes at a nearby wall, making a sharp sound, and not much else.
