Nobody has posted this it seems, but I recently got the game. Now, I'm not really a big fan of racing games, and to be honest, this is the only one I have with the exception of Burnout. I haven't really played the other Mario Kart games as well, so if you've played this game, what do you rate this as? I personally find it enjoyable. |

I hear this game has been getting a lot of gruff about "unbalanced play" and "the game being too unpredictable," but the fact is that the game is very balanced and very predictable. Oh, so you're in 12th? Well, if you know how to play well enough (and this is easier without the wheel), then you should be able to get an item, launch your way up the ranks, and win. "But Chris, when I am in 1st, I am attacked and lose!" No shnaps. You're in first while playing a racing game of destruction. Your opponents are supposed to attack you. Also, if you are playing well enough, then there is very little they can do to you. POW Blocks and Lightning Bolts hurt everyone, even if the Lightning is a bit tougher on higher ranked players. Red shells are often remedied by holding items behind you, and Green Shells can be stopped the same way, if the shooter is even that good of a shot. The only thing that is sure to detriment you is the Blue Shell. Two scenarios appear: ONE, you are far in the lead. Result: You're still winning. TWO, you are near your oppoents. Hit the brakes and be near them. Result: They explode too. You should be in first place with this knowledge. Just know your ass is being targetted when you are in 1st, and the game becomes predictable. MKW has excellent play, great characters (tho I hate Baby Daisy), many karts for everyone to enjoy (I can finally play as Bowser and not suck. yay!), and good Wi-Fi. My only complaints are how items are THROWN (since this has led me to throw greenshells OVER my enemies heads, not at them), how Battle is a mandatory timed team fight, and that Baby Daisy exists because of this game. Arrivederci. |

I want it all.

What I've played of MK Wii I've not enjoyed. I don't know why, but I just don't like it as much as the previous in the series. |

I have yet to obtain it, I lack the precious currency. But Mario Kart is usually filled with good fun for parties or friends. I heard that the Wi-Fi works splendidly. |

This game rocks. Between this and Brawl, I will be quite happy for a long time.
