I have recently dove back into the world that is Guild Wars, updating to the Nightfall campaign. I was wondering if anybody else here plays this game, as it would be kool if I knew more people on it.

Nope...sorry. My MMO of choice is World of Warcraft....though I haven't played since about Christmas due to lack of sufficient funds to buy more play time.

Well, if you ever get going on there again, go ahead and give me a shout, I play both Factions and Nightfall campaigns, although usually the later.

Factions - Spirit of the Oni

Nightfall - He of Emerald Flame

That goes for anyone else who plays and sees this post.

Never really got into online gaming. It is too complicated for me, costly, and I hear a bunch of noobs run around bad-mouthing everybody like they're cool or something.

Yaa, those aspects are annoying, and I usually don't do much online gaming either, but it's kinda nice the way they set up Guild Wars. When you go out of a town (where there is no fighting) you and your party get your own world that no other user can reach, so there's no annoyances. And you only have to pay to get the disks and startup code for the campaign you want, then you could play until they shut down the servers, at no extra cost.

I want it all.
I could get Guild wars, but I grew tired very fast. All I ever did was PvP. World of Warcraft I played for about 2 months before nevering going back. I'm not really into high-detail MMO. The only MMO I play and semi-enjoy is Ragnarok Online.

Cross between a computer and a slice of pie
I have been considering joining the Guild Wars bandwagon, but for now i'll stick with WoW and the english-language butchering retards that inhabit it

Those "retards" you speak of are everywhere. I tried to Brawl with them and they kept spamming up the screen with "LOLZ" and other Noobenese. That's not my main reason to not play Guild Wars. I just don't feel like sitting at my computer for that long killing warthogs or whatever you do. Plus, I was never into games that tried to simulate Old English Folklore (Elves and fairies with magic, which might be why I've never played a Zelda game) and I'm still not used to the whole online gaming concept.

Ya, I totally get where your coming from. I can see where the genre of rpg and mmo games might be unapealing to some individuals, as there are certain types of games that I do not enjoy either. And yes, if nothing else, we can agree that certain people that play these games are very, very annoying!
