*Van starts to laugh when he hear Hippa say at least she cares about others health.* <Van> If that ant a load of bull. You've only cared about your freakish buddy psycho stab. Don't wine about people not carrying your weak boyfriend, when half of us are already beat up, but did you offer to help any of us? No you just whine about him maybe you didn't notice I've been limping this whole time. Mort might have a concussion and God knows about Kayli and Miranda. Not to mention none of us had food or water since the plane crash. You want us to help carry a guy who attacked us please. Stop being such a hypocrite you little brat and shut up. One more scream and I'll run at the sound of your voice in a blind rage only to get shot down by these furries. Yet that still seems better then listening to you whine. Hey is your buddy even blindfolded wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't. |

*Morton is just about ready to stop Van's verbal assault, but then decides against it. Eventually, the mirion settlement comes into view. It is large, with tall walls made from mud, wood, stolen metal plates, and whatever they could find to strengthen it all around the village. Arkan greets Ml'Daar at the gate* <Arkan> Ml'Daar! Great to see you. I guess the ambush was a success? Come on in, we've prepared everything. *he looks at Bolask* Your loot is by your hut, Bolask. <Bolask> Cheers. I'll escort the humans for a bit longer, then I'll sort that out. *Morton grumbles something, then glances at all the blindfolded humans* <Morton> Right, we're here. We'll probably be locked up for the time being. I feel the need to stress this, don't do anything stupid, okay? We are already in the green, if you do what the mirions say we'll all survive. You try to escape or attack them, I cannot guarantee your safety. Got that? Edited by Emil Ichbin, June 27, 2009, 12:02 pm.

*Neil grins, the mere mention of these events occurring confirms to him that he's found the action he was looking for...* <Neil> So what do you guys plan to do about this then? and, more to the point, how can I help? I've got a... very special skill that I would gladly apply in the right circumstances. [Neil is seventeen, although probably not as mature as he should be] |

Can I help you with something?

<Ml'Daar> Alright then. Bolask, try to get the others secured in the detention compound. In the meantime, I'll go retrieve respirators for everyone, which the Pale Man can distribute, then he and I will go request an audience between the Pale Man and the Elder. See if they can't sort something out. In the meantime, I'll need you and Arkan to guard the group, and if they're cooperative maybe Arkan can help the medical girl with any injuries from the firefight. I'll also be sure to give word through the village to treat the prisoners with respect, as they are of the Protector's company, so hopefully that'll deter heckling and give everyone an easier time. On that note, the blindfolds, but not the restraints, may be removed once they reach the compound and are detained, but be sure to leave your bag outside when interacting with them Bolask. We don't want to risk them getting their weapons back until we're safely out of the village. Understand? I hope you can translate the conditions to them in a befitting manner, Pale Man. I have a good deal of reputation staked on this, and I'd hate for your name to be sullied by any renegades as well. |

*Though uncomfortable being blindfolded, it was probably for the better to hide half of Kayli's expression which was a mixture of concentration and discomfort. Her eyes tightly closed, she had been listening in on the others conversations and thinking of the best route to take* <Kayli> To be honest, things could be worse right now. I mean, sure the food we collected has been left behind, a bunch of weird people have shown up and I'm being dragged into a mirion village, but at least I'm alive. Even I'm thankful for that. No life, no puzzles. No life, no challenges. No life, no knowledge and understanding. From what I understand, mirions try and force technological understanding out of captured humans. The greedy bastards saw our advancements while they were still living in their tribal caves, mindlessly attacking another mirions to death only due to their origins. We, the careless humans, leaked this golden wonder of technology bit by bit, and the mirions scrapped it up off the ground and then tried to recreate it. Not for the benefit of themselves, but for war. *Kayli's thoughts are disrupted by Morton's warning* <Kayli> As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. Thanks to him, he turned a horrible situation to something which has a potential outcome. Being locked in a hut, sounds like a real threat. Hah. While my arms are free, and my weapon ready, I will remain peaceful. For now. From Van's outburst, I can tell he is angry and scared. I don't need eyes to sense how Mira is feeling. This is probably just a vacation for the other mirions. They don't care either way on how this ends for the humans. Can't say I care about their fate, either. *Kayli stops walking, and turns in the direction of Morton's voice.* <Kayli> Are these blindfolds really necessary? What are we going to do with our eyes? Shoot lasers at the mirions? Please. *Not too far away in the village, Seeb slowly awakens. First thing he notices is the roof of the hut, which causes him to suddenly panic* <Seeb> Where am I!? Please, not a mirion village! Anywhere but civilization! *He attempts to move, but is shortly made aware of his injuries. Making a small yelp noise, he lies back down, worrying endlessly.* Edited by Jingleboy, June 28, 2009, 11:01 pm.

*When Van's blindfold is taken off he doesn't look scared. His face looks tired his eyes are sharp studying the outlook of the Village. A small smirk appears on Van's face.* |

*When the blindfold is removed from Daimura, she seems startled at the change in scenery, and almost a little impressed at how well her captors went about relocating her and the others...* <Daimura> Woah... so, uhm... now we're here, can somebody please tell me the names?... I've got Morton so far... and, uh... the doctor lady... but what's everyone else called? |

<Morton> It's so you don't know the way to their village. Obviously. I'll go get the respirators with the mirion, I'll see you all soon. Just let the charred one do whatever he has to do, he won't hurt anyone. *he nods to Ml'Daar* Let's go. *As the prisoners are escorted into the special, reinforced hut, they can see that there are way too many mirions in the village for them to take on in an attempt to escape. The hut itself is shorter than the rest, and the room inside is mostly dug into the ground. Bolask stands at the heavy, metal door, and scratches his butt* <Bolask> You probably can't understand a word I'm saying, but sit tight for now. *he closes the door, and locks it. He's just about to ask Arkan something when he notices the other mirion is gone.* <Bolask> Damn. *Mirions around Seeb hurry out the door of the hut, and return with Arkan* <Arkan> Ah! So you're really awake! How do you feel? I'm Arkan, one of the healers in this village. Edited by Emil Ichbin, June 29, 2009, 8:47 pm.

*Miranda proceeds to sit quietly in a corner of the hut, she doesn't say anything.* *Darka is the first to be up against the bars.* <Darka> Hey! Hey, what's your name? *Kadar sighs and rolls his eyes, and sits down further into the cell away from his over-excited sister.* |

[hey, Madole, how exactly did Hippa and Quanzlo get Gong into the Mirion Village? It's already been said that the village was basically full of angry mirions, I doubt they'll allow them to wander in carrying Gong now, would they?] <Darka> Hey... Hey? *She calls to Bolask again* Hey there... Can we have food? Edited by PixelMage, June 30, 2009, 7:46 pm.

<Bolask> Food? Meh. Why not. *he calls a random mirion and tells him to bring something for the prisoners to eat.* Tough luck if it poisons the humans though, We don't have proper human food or anything. *Soon enough, a couple of Mirions bring a box full of (mostly) edible stuff* <Bolask> Tell them humans to try it at their own risk. I don't know what could kill them from this. *he locks up the door once the food-bringers have left* |

<Darka> Yaaay! Thank you! *She's rather excited.* I got food... He says it might not be safe for humans, though. He doesn't know. *Kadar approaches cautiously.* <Kadar> Safe for us, though? <Darka> Yeah. *Miranda perks up from her corner.* <Mira> Some foods hold higher concentrations of dangerous chemicals than others... Most food we eat has been processed or is naturally low in concentrated chemicals... That being said, concentrations in most food plants is much less dangerous than... well, breathing the Smog. |
