You don't have to give reasons, but I wanted to know who favoured which game or even series was the best. |

Megaman XZ purely because it's the one I enjoyed playing most, and actually almost completed it (got to the final boss and then DIED on his last incarnation, then got bored). My guilty secret is that I've never completed a megaman game in my entire life and it's not from lack of trying, I just suck that bad. I don't have the reflexes. |

I've enjoyed the portable titles best, my fave is probably either Megaman IV for the Gameboy, or Megaman Xtreme (first megaman game I evar completed woot). Also, the Zero and ZX titles are awesome for the GBA/DS, I probably like ZX Advent the best out of those. For me it's not a question of which is best, just which one I like more, because there are quite a few "awesome great perfect" games I don't like at all *cough*Mario64*cough* |

My favorite was Megaman 2. I'm not sure if I liked the NES or Gameboy version better though. I loved the boss fight with Quint but hated the fact that they call Crashman, Clashman in the Gameboy version. ON the otherhand I love the one Boss fight in he NES version were you need to use just the right amount of Crashbombs but I did hate Quickman's level not sure why play the game. Overall I loved Megaman 2 the most because it has my favorite robot master Metalman in it favoritism yes but I still liked it for otherthings as well. such as the Gameboy version was the first game I ever owned still have it and the NES version was the First game I ever beat. |

Hmmm... now there is a head scratcher. I personally have loved Mega Man 1-9, but none of those really stands out from one another because most of the games are pretty much the same essential gameplay with little variety. The Power Fighters are really fun if you have a second player, but ok at best by yourself. The Mega Man X titles were also very good, and quite difficult to boot. I never bothered with Mega Man Zero or Battle Net because the games were either too hard or just didn't catch my interest as much as the Classic and X series. I guess if I had to pick just one, it would be Mega Man 7, because that game just looks wonderful and the music was very catchy. |

Recently completed Star Force 1 and currently playing Star Force 2. The first one was a surprisingly good game (despite my personal expectations, that is), the second one isn't that good so far. |

I haven't played Advent yet, but the first ZX is probably my favorite game of the continuity. I loved the MegaMan Zero games and the style was really cool. ZX keeps that, but puts a more light-hearted spin, whereas the Zero games seemed to have a darker theme to them. ZX is just a bit refreshing that way. A sort of return to innocence feel for MegaMan. Especially with those silly courier side quests. They were fun though, and gave a little more depth to the characters. They actually have lives, instead of just being robots built for fighting. |

mjc went to great lengths mentioning this back at DSSBCC, but one of the hardest Mega Mans I ever played was the Zero series. Heck, in Zero 2 I couldn't even get off the intro stage. I know Mega Man games are known for their difficulty, but DAAAANG! |

I did play through X3 (though I found X1 harder) as well as Megaman 9 (I thought 4-6 were the hardest.) Even in doing so, I'd have to say the Zero series is total hell. xX It's like adding hard mode to an already hard game. |

Really? Huh I only had trouble with two things in the Zero serious. The eagle in Zero one and the level in zero 4 trying to get to Craft. You had trouble in Megaman 6 seriously? I honestly think that's the easiest Megaman game. |

The Zero series was a lot of fun, and a bit easier for me than the X series was. Of those, X3 gave me the most trouble. The playstation games (MegaMan 8 and X4-8) are rediculously easy. MegaMan 9 however, is brutal. I can't even get through any of the stages to one of the bosses. |

My favorite would be Megaman Battle Network 3. It was my first game of the Network series and heck, I enjoyed the story since it was very easy to follow along. Megaman isn't a slowpoke either so it's up to you to determine just how good he is. I also kinda liked the Megaman Legends series as well mainly cuz of nostalgia. Giant enemy bosses I did not like, and it was full of 'em. I'd say it falls along the lines of "fear that was conquered" and that's mainly the reason why I found it great. |
