First off, let me apologize for this being long. I want to stress how important it is that we keep writing. Whether we are sending postcards, letters, or e-mail, what matters most is that we keep doing it! We have to keep telling all of them how important James/EJ are to us. Please, if you would read through what is here and seriously think about participating in some way. Thanks, Tish. Adonis 2009 Win/James and EJ Writing Campaign On September 2, 2009 James was named the winner of Soaphunks.net's Adonis 2009 competition. It was James' THIRD win in a row. He was once again declared the hunkiest man in all of daytime. It is a status he is very much worthy of and that worthiness goes far beyond his looks. James Scott is the total package! In light of the recent Soap Opera Digest interview and James not being featured maybe we need to remind TPTB and Soap Opera Digest how much support and love there is for James out there. Soaphunks.net's Adonis contest is its largest event. Every qualifying male on all soaps are a part of the semifinals rounds of the contest. The 1st and 2nd place finalist from all soaps have a chance to advance to the finals. Over a 16 week period fans cast their votes between 32 male soap stars from all daytime soaps. At the end of this time period the one star left becomes the hunkiest man in daytime (the Adonis). This year there were 2.8 million votes cast in the final round. The Adonis contest has been held annually since 2003. For more information on Soaphunks.net please visit their website. ![]() Postcard designed by Cadence. As a part of the campaign Scott’s Sirens is sending Leading Man/Three-time Adonis winner James magnets to TPTB at Days and Soap Opera Digest. In addition to sending postcards, Scott’s Sirens would like to encourage James/EJ fans to write letters in support of James/EJ. With the recent SOD interview not featuring James we feel it is also important to send letters as well to TPTB at Days and SOD. Again they need to be reminded just how much support and love there is for James. Click here for snail mail and e-mail addresses. Below is a list of suggestions you may want to use in your letter(s). Feel free to come up with your own suggestions as well. We wanted to toss out some to help get you started. -Why you're a fan of James and why you support him. -Why you think he is a leading man. -Things you find impressive about James' acting. -When you became a fan. Did you watch him before Days? -What qualities do you think James brings to EJ? What do you love about EJ? -Tell why you think EJ is a bad boy with a good heart. -What is it about James that keeps you watching? -Who do you like EJ paired with the best and why? -Have you met James? Share a little about your experience. -What frustrates you right now about EJ and why? What do you want to see change? -Talk about the three Adonis wins. Tell how it shows how much support there is for James. **When you write these letters send James a copy as well. Briefly tell him why you wrote the letter and to whom it was sent.** Calling the comment line (818-840-2067) is also another good way to help support James. Also, there are still some Leading Man and Bad Boy with a Good Heart postcards left. If you would like some of those as well please PM me. The amounts, cost, and payment methods are the same as above. Files to print on your own: Leading Man and Bad Boy with a Good Heart Two last things to consider are supporting James by watching Days over at nbc.com on the days he is on and voting for him in Soap Opera Digest Hot Off The Net poll weekly. Thank you in advance for your participation. Edited by JamesScottFan4Life, September 14, 2009, 6:20 pm.
