Sad news for As The World Turns viewers. It looks as though Guiding Light is not the only soap opera that will be cancelled in the near future. As The World Turns T is in danger of being cancelled as well. As The World Turns has not been on CBS as long as Guiding Light, but it has been running on CBS for more than 50 years. I just don't understand this at all. |

maybe it has some thing to do with P&G.. another world was the 1st to go.... did the government get the hands in P&G yet? that would explain the downfall of the shows... GE, Government motors had more worse times since the government dipped into it.. all the banks they saved more then once are greddy and will not loan the money they got.. thye do the invest it and keep it for themselves... this world is becoming scary.. my soaps keep me sane... please dont let it be true,, |

I hope it's not true either, because my mother has watched all of the CBS soaps for as long as I can remember, and she would be upset if she found out that ATWT was going to be cancelled. |

I've been watching ATWT for 52 years and I would really hate to see it go off. I miss GL. I would hate it if there were no soaps! I will turn CBS off during the day if there are no soaps. I wouldn't waste my time of stupid game shows. I hate them and the people make such fools of themselves. |

yeah, i watched cbs forever.. search fro tomorrow was on there till nbc got it.. yr from day 1 in 1973.. ATWT my mom probably had me in th hospital on christmas day watching as she fed me... did they show soaps back that long ago? i knkw now it old ones , sports or sone stupid programing.. bb of course since 1987.. gl was on /off for me since late 80's early 90's 99 ish it was more often... |

I used to watch all the CBS soaps with my mother. It would be a real shame if ATWT were cancelled as well. |
