Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs, rump, round or chuck steak salt & pepper oil 1 medium onion sliced or chopped worchestershire sauce 1 can of tomato soup Salt and pepper steaks, and brown in the oil, in a hot pan(oven proof). Remove and add onions, cook for 2 minutes. Add worchestershire sauce and soup. Put steak back in pan, cover and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour, then uncover and bake for another 1 to 1/2 hours until nice and tender. Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Also doubles well, and you can just throw it all in a slow cooker and let it go. No browning etc. |

This is a good idea.My family doesn't like chunks of tomatoes in their food.Sousing the tomato soup as a substitute is a good idea. Thanks! |
