The GDG Trilogy is the adventures on Gielinor featuring the aftermath of RuneScape - Souls of the Damned.

Angeror cursed Gielinor to be struck by time anomalies, leading to and from anywhere in the past or future of Gielinor. Although the anomalies may lead to other planets.

The whole concept is based on Primeval, a TV series about time anomalies and dangerous creatures appearing.

Death by Dragon

An anomaly appears in the center of Lumbridge, when an army of Zamorakians come through from the Third Age.

This Zamorakian army seem to think they are still in the God Wars. Lumbridge is attacked by evil mages, vampires, werewolves, demons and even a dragonkin.

Only one crack team can stop these incursions; the Gielinor Defender Group.

But can they stop the might of K'ril Tsutsaroth?

Lumbridge Castle

The cook has finished baking a pie for the Duke. He enters the dinner hall, but the Duke is out of sight. The cook calls for him, no reply. He puts the pie on the table, but looks up. He sees the Duke on the ceiling, dead. His killer is a vampire. The vampire leaps at the cook, but the cook looks around frantically. A shiny thing is swirling around on the table. And out of it, lots more are coming.

But it is a variety; werewolves, Zamorakian mages, vampires, imps. But a gigantic demon emerges. The cook screams, but is cut short by the vampire.

GDG Base

Drauss is drinking some beer, when it is Cratus runs up to him.

"Cratus finds reports of monsters in Lumbridge! Must we investigate?"

Drauss looked at the report. He nodded.

"Find the Wise old man. We need to evacuate the city. Put a quarantine- just let no one in! And bring in some of the latest tech!"

Drauss, Cratus, the Wise old man and a few soldiers appear at the scene. They enter the castle. The soldiers go in first, but none of them reply or come out. Drauss raises a gun, but is attacked by force lightning. The Wise old man counteracts this, and finds an army of Zamorakians coming out from the castle. It was a mage that attacked Drauss.

The mage realized the WOM was more powerful, and surrendered.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here!"

"Is this a joke? Don't you know when the Gods are at war? Isn't it obvious?"

Drauss got up.

"What are you talking about?"

"This is the God Wars, dumb-ass. But Iam Sin'keth Magis, leader of the Dagon'hai. Strength through chaos!"

Cratus headlocked Sin'keth, and pinned him to the wall.

"Cratus senses something is not right..."

More GDG soldiers appeared, and they and Drauss rampaged through the halls. But there was a battle, GDG against some Zamorakians.

"We need reinforcements! Werewolves, vampires, demons..."

But the castle around exploded, as Lumbridge was facing a monster.

Drauss was picked up, by General K'ril Tsutsaroth, the massive demon.

"Houston, we have a problem..."

While the short battle was raging, the WOM found the anomaly. He examined it. He cast a spell.

"This must be the root of the problem! But I can't seal it!"

But he was thrown back. And something bigger than the demon general flew out.

A Dragonkin.

The dragon started to burn houses and farms. Now the guards of Lumbridge were getting involved. Farmer Fred was also swearing at the Dragonkin and throwing pitchforks.

The Wise old man was thrown back, but was freezing all the various creatures from the time era.

But the Wise old man figured it out; this was a time portal, calling it an anomaly. He walked through it, and ended up in a barren wasteland. The Wilderness. But he saw Saradominist wizards everywhere, firing madly at demons and evil mages. Knights were duelling.

"Perfect! I have actually travelled in time!"

He went back through, and realized it could mean the end of the world. He found Drauss about to be crushed, when he cast a spell, which sent K'ril flying.

"Drauss! Theres a time portal, which links our era to the Third Age! I don't know how this portal opened, but iam guessing..."

"Angeror." Drauss finished his sentence.

"Can't he take a hint? Hes picking on us, he wants to see us suffer..."

"Thats K'ril Tsutsaroth, the legendary demon general of Zamorak. Oh yea, theres a dragon on the loose."

"Dragonkin. They were extinct in that era. They are more powerful and intelligent than your average lizard on wings."

"We must trap it!"

Cratus shot at the Dragonkin with a net cannon, but missed. Drauss and the WOM cowered, seeing the GDG trying to bring it down. Funnily, Farmer Fred is hurling swears at the dragon.

"We must send that Dragonkin and K'ril back through the anomaly, or else it will cause a pardox, releasing the Reapers..."

"Yea yea, time vortex reptiles that eat everything. How many times!"

"Cratus finds that the net cannon is failing!"

"No crap Sherlock!"

"We could stun it, with this!"

Drauss carried a stun turret and set it up. It fired everywhere, but brought down the Dragonkin.

The GDG went down to the downed dragon.

"Why attack us?"

It replied,

"I have to fight for Zamorak, it is my duty!"

"In case you haven't noticed, this ain't your time period"

"I know, in case we lose the God Wars, the future can be Zamorak's!"

It took 100 people to carry the Dragonkin back through the anomaly. All the Zamorakians were also thrown through, leaving...

"K'ril Tsutsaroth!"

The massive demon had crushed all the guards of Lumbridge.

"Holy sh---"

"Time for profanity later, lets just do this thing!"

"Strength through chaos! I shall claim the future for Zamorak!"

K'ril was throwing the GDG soldiers around with his large knives. But he was shot in the back, and he collapsed. Turrets come in handy.

They started to drag him, and chucked him through the anomaly.

"Now, how do we seal this..."

"You can't! I have tried every spell in the book! I think only the caster can undo it! Unless..."

The WOM had a sad twinkle in his eye.

"I need to sacrifice myself to seal it, using a spell so powerful it could knock Guthix himself unconscious."

"Very well. You will be remembered as legend on Gielinor. But whats your real name?"

"Well, its T---"

His conversation was cut short by a gigantic red hand trying to get out. K'ril was conscious, andtrying to get through.

The WOM was starting to seal it. He was weakening. After some time, the anomaly was sealed and the WOM fell to the ground. K'ril's arm got chopped off when it closed.

"A souvenir of our little adventure" Cratus smiled, but Drauss picked up the WOM.

"Hes still alive, but Iam guessing 90% of his life force was the power sealing the portal! Quick, we need him back at the base!"

GDG Base

The WOM is in a hospital ward. Drauss, Cratus and his prodigies are in a conference room, discussing matters.

"More portals will pop up, I just know it. We can't keep using the WOM to seal them. We can't use anyone. Even a prodigy couldn't do it. So we must be prepared for the next time. We need to track them all, and get rid of them!"

Cratus asked,

"And how? Obviosuly, we need to work our scientists harder! Or maybe they close themselves after a certain period of time!"

Drauss pondered. Its true, they could. But it could take years for one to close by itself.

Drauss walked out of the room, and stared at the WOM. Hes dying, fast. Drauss went outside, and stared at the sky. He saw a cloud look like Angeror laughing at him.

"This ain't over, Angeror."

He silently walked off.

"Highway to Hell"

Synopsis

Draynor Manor has become worse than ever. It is now infested with Deathworms, from Hell itself. Although Drauss may be familiar with them, they must be destroyed or sent back before they lay eggs everywhere, and Gielinor becomes a hive of killer slugs.

Plot

Draynor Manor

A man walks up down the staircase to Count Draynor's crypt. He wears a striking yellow set of magic robes. Carefully, he creeps across the floor, skirting candles, until he reaches the coffin. Slowly, carefully, he opens up the lid and drops it down. He raises his stake and hammer - then drops it. The coffin is empty. He peers in, seeing a crack that is widening. He examines it, then suddenly sees it splinter, and a bizarre slug-like creature leap out of it. It muffles his screams as it attaches to his face.

GDG base

Yargther just ran to Drauss, papers in hand.

"A clan of PKers had just disappeared into Draynor Manor, and never came out! Later, an elite team entered and found their skeletons, stripped of flesh. They later had the same fate. And its not that Count Draynor doing it, his skeleton was found as well, as well as reports of shining portals..."

"Its back to the drawing board then. We still haven't worked out how they can be sealed! And the WOM is still in stasis, and he hasn't recovered for a week!"

"I can just rememeber that fateful day last week, and that demon still gives me nightmares...."

Drauss assembled his team, including the prodigies La'ab, Doarle, Creeth and Mordi. Then a couple of soldiers joined them, and Cratus.

"Lets risk our lives stupidly once again because of that deranged monster..."

Draynor Manor

Trees started to attack Drauss, but he was angry at the moment. So mercilessly, he got out a flame-thrower and burned all the trees to the ground.

"Take it easy on the flames, man..."

"More than they will ever deserve" Drauss muttered darkly.

They entered, and primed all weapons. Strangely, the ghosts and other undead were gone. Even the chairs that follow you disappeared. They went up the stairs, and found a load of sticky, red webs.

"Prepare yourselves, we are entering what seems like a hive..."

But there was nothing on the other side. Just a professor, a machine and a skeleton.

"Who are you!" screamed Cratus.

"Iam Professor Oddenstein, mad scientist! But please help me! They are everywhere, waiting for fresh meat..."

"I get the mad part, but what is here! And what is this machine! And this..."

Drauss walked up to the portal. It was the portal that leads to the Killerwatt plane.

"People died today, and you are a link to that..."

"You don't understand! I created this years ago! But it doesn't lead to the Killerwatts anymore. Just this place, where demons dwell, and fire a-plenty. The creatures...they first came through here..."

"Im surprised your still alive! But these creatures...where are they?"

"Downstairs...I covered myself in garlic, that deterred them. They are sensitive to smell. But it was too late for Ernest..."

He held up the chicken skeleton.

"I call these creatures Deathworms. When you see them, you will know why..."

The GDG left the room and down the stairs. Drauss paused.

"I recognized that place... it was Hell. I have been there before. And there were killer worms inside..."

"Your saying the Deathworms are from Hell? You know how to defeat them?"

"I had the luck of Saradomin with me, as a worm hole ripped through their bleeding hearts...if any."

Mordi opened a door, and peered inside. She gasped in horror. The room was infested with massive Deathworms. Inside were the skeletons of their victims. And there were eggs all over. The worms were reproducing! The whole manor had become a hive, this room only being the center. Red webs covered in blood were everywhere.

The Deathworms came from Hell, and bringing it with them.

A Deathworm was on the ceiling, and landing on Mordi's head. Mordi's head was inside its mouth, and she was being slowly digested.

Drauss shot with his pistol, but no effect. All the prodigies were casting spells, to no effect. Desperate, Cratus used a flame-thrower.

"That won't help! They thrive in the fire!"

"Get out!" cried Drauss. All the ones who could, did. Mordi stood there, her screams muffled by the Deathworm. Drauss turned his headlight to full power and shone it at the row of bright red eyes on the Deathworm's head. The creature squeeled, and momentarily let go. Mordi raised her E-Pistol and, turning it to full power, let rip a beam of lightning. The Deathworm shrivelled and fell.

"You okay?" asked Drauss.

"Er... um... BLEUGH!" Mordi was right to say so - her helmet was covered in slime.

"Let's go!" he said, extending his arm to her. She took it, and together they ran back up the stairs.

But the worms followed. They were very fast. Cratus had a portable hose, and flooded them down. They all shrivelled up.

"Their weakness is water!"

"And smells. The professor used garlic to scare them. We need lots more garlic!"

The GDG were covered in garlic they found in the manor. They entered the hive central, spraying water everywhere. But they kept coming. And coming.

But a Deathworm the size of the room appeared.

"It must be their queen!"

"Fleshy bipeds..."

"It speaks!"

"Of course, what did you just hear..."

"Well sorry, but its not every day you talk to a killer worm..."

"Quite understandable..."

"Why are you here! What is the purpose of invading an old crumbling house that nobody likes!"

"An anomoly from Hell leads to your dimension. I came, layed my eggs and the result is here! But you murdered some of my children...."

"They tried to kill us, wtf did you expect!"

"They are only doing their life purpose. Angeror gets all the fun in destruction, now it is our turn..."

But La'ab came screaming in

"The anomaly is closing in 5 mins! We must transport them back!"

"Thats bull, because I planned to have my children harvest the planet...."

Drauss was asking things at the most inappripriate times.

"Why do you always end your sentences by trailing off?"

"Its a matter of habit, I can only hiss unintelligible...."

This was a distraction, as the team grabbed the Death-Queen and tied her up. Her "children" were attacking, but they were dying when Cratus caused a flood in the manor.

The Death-Queen was then thrown back into Hell, and the anomaly closed.

But there was still an infestation at large.

The team ran outside, as the prodigies had flooded the whole manor. Garlic was also thrown into there, and the manor exploded. All Deathworms killed, except for one.

It attacked Drauss, and bit off his leg. It was then shot by an energy blaster.

"Alright boss?" asked Doarle.

"Holy crap, my leg!"

GDG Base

Drauss stared at his new mechanical leg. He had become a cyborg. He liked it.

Yargther then ran up to him, flashing another report to him.

"Back to work people! These anomalies won't stop at nothing!"
