Okay, I'm already looking at what I want to get next for a game, probably after I get like NHL 08. I was curious whether people think I should get Mass Effect or Bioshock. I've heard they're both great and stuff, but I wanted to hear your opinions on which would be better.

Well..... Mass Effect is much more the RPG than Bioshock. I mean, they're both kind of linear, but Mass Effect has many more roleplaying aspects, imho.

Bioshock, on the other hand, has a way for you to hatch bees inside your arm and make them attack enemies.

So, they're about even. :D

But I personally enjoyed ME much more than Bioshock.

I would say BioShock, as I've heard some ranting and raving over it. Plus it's on the PC.

Well, I've never played Mass Effect, so I can only say why to get Bioshock.

I Loved the story, very dark game play and the only game to put me in the position where I find it hard to sleep from fear, there are some really scary bits, for example the first time you set of an alarm and the splicer's come at you was when I realized this wasn't going to be a NICE game. The strategic aspect is also good, you can choose how o kill something with a wide variety of weapons/powers. I loved the roleplay most of all, choosing to act as a Big Daddy was a great Bonus, but Killing the Little Sisters was also fun. So Yeah I'd say Bioshock. But as I said I haven't played Mass Effect so I dunno.

I played Mass Effect and I have said many times it is the most engaging and beautiful story I have ever witnessed in a video game. It is sad and fun and so many things that Bioshock it not. I played both and they both are amazing games but if you want the most engaging game you have played seriously Mass Effect is beyond amazing in its story and the characters are so REAL, no game has had such a dramatic effect that I have played. It is beautiful.

Chris, I had actually had a similar answer from you in my mind. To the same effect of Bioshock is on PS3 and Mass Effect isn't which makes Bioshock better, hehe.:P
