http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3340274697167011147 This is a very interesting, as it is about the Alaskan oil reserve, the largest pipeline on the face of this earth, and how absolutely no oil is being pumped through that pipeline. |

Not only that, but we also have 2 centuries of oil under Utah. It is somehow inside the rocks, and some special process is needed to get the oil, so they say it's not economic to get it... |

Still if they use all the oil available on Earth, the global warming will really incontrolable (that would be like in 400 years if I am not mistaken?) Just now we are in deep with the current global warming :P . |

but you said if we used up our oil global warming would be uncontrolable that makes no sense, wouldnt that turn out to be a good thing sense there is a lot less CO2? But then again wouldnt that be bad for the plants? |

Global warming. Oh boy not this again. Anyway, there have been scientists out there that have said that global warming is nothing more than a natural occurring cycle that the earth goes through. It's happened before. It's the same with the hole in the ozone layer; a natural occurrence caused by Antarctic winds. Here's my beef with Congress right now. They say that we can't drill because of the environment, they say we can't drill because it would harm wildlife, and they say we can't drill because of global warming. But yet they go to the oil companies and ask, "why are our prices so high?" "You're price gouging." But yet, they won't let the oil companies drill or build more refineries to keep up with demand. We haven't built a refinery in thirty years. What the hell? Another thing that gripes me is these people that claim that America is addicted to oil. How can we be addicted to oil when oil is the one natural resource that must be had in order to have a working, industrialized economy. China knows this, Hitler knew this, Russia knows this, Cuba knows this, and everyone except us knows this. Oil is everything. Not just gas, but plastic, asphalt, and rubber are made from it. Oil is everything to an industrialized nation, and to get away from it is to go back to horse and buggy. Just my two cents worth. |

It's true that global warming is just a cycle that earth must come through however the fact that it happens now isnt just a coincidence. We greatly accelerated the cycle and thats why they all freak out. |

Well really we have no real evidence on either side, we only were taking track of weather for the past 100 years...so no one is right and everyone is right. |
