Okay, for the first time I'm needing to use some modder's resources, but alas, I'm not sure how to install them, and the one I got the readme wasn't all to clear. I just don't know where to put everything. Also, when I'm done with the mod, how would I package it in with my mod, or will a packaging program do that for me? Thanks, Unpleasant_Assailant |

For Morrowind (I'm assuming) I think there is a mod packager. Check out the Golden Dragon mod, as the author used some kind of packager to build the download file. For the modder's resource, it depends. If it has a esp file, then you can copy and paste the data. (not use the references directly, but rather creating new object by right clicking, edit, change the ID name, and tell it to create a new object. This will copy and paste the data) If it is just meshes/textures and no esp, then the location doesn't matter as long as they are in their respective folders somewhere. (meshes in Meshes folder, etc) And in this case, you would have to manually import the data into the CS. Any chance you can upload the readme? Hope this helps, .~DW |

That helps alot! Thanks! Also, I don't think I can upload the readme, but it's not important now, since you helped me. EDIT: Locked because question was answered Edited by Unpleasant_Assailant, May 17 2008, 11:00 AM.
