Well, after taking a look at some newer titles, one game kind of caught my attention.

The mentioned game is Overlord, and the concept of which look very neat and creative.

So my question is, "Has anyone tried it yet? And if so, is it a game that you would recommend?"

It is one game I'm thinking of getting, and I'm wondering what is everyone's opinion on this title?

I have a demo disc from my free edition of xbox magazine that has Overlord on it. If you've played pikman for the gamecube, it's the exact same concept, just with little goblins instead of pikman. From what little I played, it seemed pretty fun. I would say get it and try it and if you don't like it turn it back in (unless you're buying pc version). I personally thought it wasn't a terrible game. The demo had maybe 1 bug that I caught in it, so hopefully the game is just as lacking in mods.

I played the demo on ps3 and it was, to say a genre on its own. Strange but somewhat addicting...its not the best game ever, but its not the worst either. In this games case, it just depends on what you like.

Well its the first level, most games the first level is the boringest of them. So you who knows the rest of the game might be alot better? I dont know i'll end my rant...

So it's maybe like Freelancer was, boring the first couple of levels, then all hell broke loose.

Either way, I'm trying it tonight if I don't get hooked on Valkyrie Profile 2 again.

yeah perhaps, it does look that way, the first level is like a tute level, so im guessing the rest will be more battle and kicking ass. ;)
