Sam's voice changed almost to a growl.

"Quite an odd pervert that would make me, then, wouldn't it? I'm a hunter. My camouflage lets me sink deep into my surroundings. I become one with the world around me, invisible to my targets, and this," he pointed to the triple scopes of his headset, "is a night vision/thermal set, so I can stalk important prey in the darkness of night and in the cool air after the sun sets. As any halfway decent hunter, I am always in control of my feet. I move silently through the night because I am so goddamn good with my footwork, you don't even hear my boots touch the ground. I have such control with my bow, that I can draw the string back and shoot a sharp steel-headed fiberglass arrow through the air. You walk about, unaware that I even exist, until you hear the rush of air around the feathers of the arrow. The head penetrates your skin, and then the prongs shoot out. They open inside of you, cutting up your insides and locking the arrow in place. I would use my skills to kill, not stalk useless young women."

He stopped for a moment, then finished.

"I came here to buy a gun, which I may or may not be able to purchase, so that I could kill you even easier that with a bow. Now, if you'd like to walk away and pretend that was a sneeze, I'll play right along."

SIN listened to the little speech the man made and walked forward, ignoring everyone else as she stood infront of the man. "You brag to much to be a true killer." With that said, SIN just stood infront of the hunter, waiting to see how he would react. Anything would be interesting, even if he attacked her or broke out in tears. Probably the second option, but again, either would be interesting.

"Pathetic."

"True, I've never killed a man, but to be potent, one does not have to have done so before. One only needs to equipment and will to do so. I have both, and I also have the skills required."

Sam stood tall, matching the android's empty, robotic gaze with his own piercing eyes.

"So you haven't killed a man yet you are already overconfident in your skill," SIN noted as she matched the man's stare. She lifted her right hand up, holding it infront of her chest so the tips of her fingers lined up with the man's neck. "Would you be able to stop me should I, say, rip your throat out?" she asked, with no emotion or feeling in her voice. "What would you do."

"If you ripped my throat out, I would probably die," Sam shot back sarcastically.

"I'm hardly overconfident, but if my skills are useful for what you wanted from me out in the fields, then you'd better be nice."

An elf came walking by the group along with Neku who had finished his business at the weapon vendor. He saw the Elf, who's name was Athena, and recognized as the one from the training facility. " CAN I SEE YOUR WEAPON??" he exclaims.

Athena obliges his whim and shows him her motosword, though wondering why such a young harpy girl was interested in her weapon. Neku looked at the sword and wrote down measurements and other miscellaneous information on the sword. DUN DUN DUNDAH!!! NEKU RECEIVED THE SWORD SCHEMATIC! He would find other people with interesting weapons to add to this schematic in order to forge a mighty weapon unlike the likes anyone has ever seen.

Ignoring the newcomer, SIN held her hand inches from the man's neck. "If you skill is about giving directions I now have, then I'm sure I wouldn't miss it," she told him. "And I highly doubt you would be any help in killing a man named Dirge Fatum. Have you heard of this man?" While she spoke though, even she had to wonder why this man named Dirge was so important he needed to be taken care of. The warning on the sheet had been he could kill ten men, but she could kill just as many, if not more.

"My skills are not tracking, but stealth. I know how not only to stay hidden, but to become invisible to my prey. I do not blend in with the shadows, I can become one. What has this man done to deserve death? I will find him with you, if for no other reason than to show you how competent I am."

"I have never met this man, I only received the job to finish him. If you think your skill has any use, you could come, I'll keep you safe." Finished with the man, SIN turned, and walked back over to the girl in green. "How about that right there," SIN pointed to a six-shot revolver. "Its old, but it shouldn't be too expensive. It even comes with ammo."

Eve's eyes light up like a Christmas tree at a pyromaniac's house.

It was just like weaponry the rugged heroes and cunning villains used in her favorite books about hard-boiled wild west ghost towns. Not only that, but it wasn't nearly as complex as all the other silly machines in this city appeared to be.

"It's perfect!" she wailed at the tall automaton. Warm, fuzzy feelings rushed through her post-pubescent mind. Thoughts like "she can be my new sister" and "let's rob a train," those kinds of normal girl thoughts. Plus, she figured if that creepy maid ever attacked her at night there might be hope for a way to stop it yet.

"That seems about spot-on for what I've been searching for. If I save up I might even be able to get it one day."

The suddenly joyous girl then buzzed like a bee over to where she saw Neku. She tapped his shoulder to get his attention.

"Woah, how'd you get all the way over here?"

He didn't seem to notice, he was preoccupied with a blueprint of some sort.

"Is that a grocery list?" she asked, being as much of an ignoramus as she could muster. The paper clearly had diagrams on it. +3 Ignorance

"Lady, me and the serious chick are ready to go I think. It sure looks like you're done too!" she asserted to the harpy. He appeared to have his business complete, however wrapped up in technology he was at the moment. Eve wasn't even really concerned about them or their business, all she could think of was her plan to buy every weapon that caught her fancy. She couldn't wait to boost her ego by a few stat points.

"Come on, I bet you'll be able to afford to make the thing on that schematic of yours after we get our business on. In my opinion you're a bit too pretty to be wielding something that malicious though!"

Eve was still completely unaware of Neku's true gender. Maybe even less aware than he was, that is. Little revolvers were twirling around in her mind. Maybe they should lock her up while they still have the chance.

SIN followed the young women, and looked at the price on the gun the girl loved so much. "How much money do you have to begin with? It's only 250 aggles." SIN looked over the girl to the Harpy's blueprints. "Planning something, how interesting." It was hard to tell if SIN was actually interested or not.

"Yeah I thought it was interesting too! What a strange grocery list." she replied to SIN's latter remark. Although she honestly knew exactly what it was. She noted how much she disliked swords -- such a clean and humane weapon. Now if it were a rusty sword, or a sword so big it hurts just to wield, that would be cruel and unusual enough for her tastes. This new weapon she was planning on getting, makes a tad more of a mess when it's used for homicide. Though in places that aren't fantasy role-plays, pistols don't actually have much of a practical use besides homicide, unless your idea of fun is popping tin cans off a fence with a handgun.

(No, don't even say it. There's nothing clean or humane about a small piece of white-hot metal bouncing around through your organs until it finally stops and festers with bile. - Genzo)

"250 aggles? Oh yeah. The gun costs like 250, so I only need about. . ." she suddenly remarked. She paused to pretend to do math in her head. She unfolded her wallet and turned around to look at it. ". . . this much minus this much is uh -- OH HAHA. Yeah of course I have enough."

She pretended like she had figured it out by some equation, though in reality she had only realized she was carrying the exact amount. "I'll be back in a second, ladies. A real jiff." Sweat dripped down her forehead. Jeez that was close. I almost looked like a moron there. she thought, embarrassed. +2 Unintelligibility

" Weren't we going to go to Kredo city? This warning says it's dangerous for women, which is pretty easy to figure out why... I know you could handle yourself just by the look of ya and the way you just are." he said to SIN. He passed up the other robot and the weirdo. "Athena is your name right? Would you join us? I know you could hold your own, and I would like to study your weapon more because I could help you improve it. Now you, you green obsessed girl. I'm not so sure about you. Don't want anything unfortunate happening to you. Don't worry I have a solution for this. That I'll deal with later. That should be all but you girls need to watch out just in case."

He started scribbling notes. He figured out SIN , not realizing she was a robot, was safe as well as Athena for their fighting prowess. Quite noticeably he left himself out we he said you girls. Anyone with half a brain would have caught it. Athena did but she was unsure, perhaps she is arrogant, maybe?

Sam accessed his wrist mounted Palm-pilot device and transmitted a message to Lucille's AI, which basically said, "don't say anything out loud, but this seems like a suspicious mission. If things turn out the wrong way, and these guys are just dirty assassins, then we're going to have to find this Dirge fellow first, and help him out."

Sam then turned to Eve as she stared idiotically down the barrel of her gun.

"Do you even know how to use a gun? Remember, being a dumb sh*t doesn't count as knowing how... It's the opposite."
