Planets controlled by the Republic will be found here.

These are planets that the Jedi inhabit and have academies on, some are controlled by the Republic as well, others are not.

Planets of the Sith Empire, these include both training planets of the Sith and planets simply looked over by the Sith Empire.

Largely consisting of Outer Rim planets, these are the planets where the Hutts directly rule. (Note: Hutts are involved with the affairs of other planets as well but do not rule them.)
