The Galactic Center of Coruscant, the political hub of the galaxy for over a millennia. It was generally agreed that Coruscant was, during most of Galactic history, has been the most politically important world in the galaxy. Home to the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Temple, it is a planet with the most breathtakingly modern cities and architecture the galaxy has ever seen.

The beautiful lush world of the Naboo. Unspoilt by technological uprising, it still holds many old architecture which makes it arguably one of the most beautiful planets in the galaxy.

A desert world in a binary star system in the Arkanis Sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It is inhabited by poor locals who mostly farm moisture for a living. Other activities included used equipment retailing and scrap dealing. Beware, this system is controlled by the Hutts.

Following a catastrophic war on Bogden, Kohlma was set up as a memorial tomb for those who had fallen. It is also the location of Count Dooku's castle, using it as a base of operations during his serve as Darth Sidious's Sith apprentice.

At the heart of the Galaxy lies the Deep Core, a dense mass of stars whose gravitational fields distort the fabric of Hyperspace. It was long thought to be impenetrable, until the Empire discovered safe hyperlanes into the region.

The Core Worlds are among the most densely populated and include the original areas of human habitation from which explorers set out to colonize remote regions.

The first area to be settled outside the Core. The worlds of the Colonies are now heavily populated.

This region became to be known as "The Rim" when it formed the outer limit of the known Galaxy and was settled by Colonists and corporations eager to exploit abundant resources.

The region was an experiment in corporate-controlled worlds first settled during the Galactic Republic's Great Manifest Period beginning in 20,000 BBY. From 17,000 BBY to 3,000 BBY, competing holdings of Coruscant and Alsakan fought 17 "Alsakan Conflicts" in the Region. The Brentaal League extended its hyperlanes into the Region in 4,020 BBY.

With fewer natural resources—and therefore a smaller population—than many neighbouring regions, the Mid Rim was a territory where residents worked hard for everything they had. Several planets built up impressive economies, and pirate raiders often hid in the relatively unexplored spaces far from major trade routes.

Far from the Galactic Center, the planets of the Outer Rim include most of the lawless territories in the galaxy, as well as many worlds where resources are limited and life is harsh for habitants of these rugged, frontier planets.

Hyperspace is the alternate state of existence used by starships to achieve faster-than-light (FTL) travel. It is a phenomenon not completely understood by scientists; it is alternately described as a parallel universe, an extra 'dimension' of space and time, and an alternate mode of physical existence.
