After a spectacular betrayal of the Jedi, Chancellor Palpatine, Or Darth Sidious, as his moniker goes, has taken control of the new Galactic Empire, proclaiming himself Emperor. Already, talk of rebellion is brewing. The far reaches of the galaxy are stirring, old giants rising again to return justice. High ranking generals and officials of the Old Republic have thrown in their lot with this band of smugglers, good hearted men and soldiers all. Good and Evil, they are not the conflict here, not for the average man. Many souls simply throw their lot in with these super powers for 3 squares, or chasing an ideal. Some rebels may be cold hearted, fiendish bastards. Some Imperial soldiers may be kind and gentle. Black and White, Good and Evil, these are not the heart of the galaxy. They are a veneer over the soul beneath, the shade of grey, the common people. But... Are the Rebellion and the Empire the only ones affected? No, myriad men, women, and creatures are affected each day by this conflict. This, is a story of those souls. Soldier, Smuggler, Tinker, Tailor, whatever path you choose, 1 thing is certain.
