Odar got off the transport. He had a huge ball in his chest that seemed to be filled of some type of poison that was slowly eating his body away of his spirit. For him, the force has been weakening because of his given mental state. He slowly proceeded into the column filled temple.

Nobody else cared about the death of his master. She was the one who brought him into the Jedi Order. She was the longstanding hero he wanted, and even more so needed. She was the one who taught him to open the concealment of the force within him. It was Master Katya who died, why not some worthless padawan.

He despised those who walked past him as if nothing had ever happened. They seemed too smug walking across the place cracking jokes to each other. They were all smiling as he past, each not through sympathy, but just random kindness. He just wanted to get away.

"Odar Ti?" asked a protocol droid, waddling up to the Togruta.

Odar Ti didn't speak, the couple of hours of not talking had held him up. He just looked at the confused droid. He got the strength to move a millimeter to signal "Yes."

"You may go to your apartment, which is Guest Room 10 on the twelfth floor," the protocol said, jerking his head around unintentionally. He then waddled back into the crowd of walking people.

Odar walked to the elevator and pressed the button saying "Floor 12 - Guest Apartments, Training Rooms" and looked to the ground as the cart raised to the destination.

"I need to focus," he though, "I need to meditate, and get some practicing and I'll be fine." He knew he was lying to himself, but it gave him a small spark of hope that the force will strengthen again out of his mental fatigue.

The door opened as another walked in. The elevator continued. He kept thinking of the two seconds he saw of his master being slit in the legs and then the minute of her not waking up. He kept thinking about it.

The elevator stopped at level twelve, Odar almost missed the door. He slid through as they closed and continued on through the hall. He finally went inside the room labeled "Guest Apartment 10" which was almost empty.

After a short meditation, the force fluctuated through his body once more, and he was now rested. His mind settled down two, the hatred and remorse was turned down as the force pour throw him like water. He walked out of the room and back into the elevator.

He pressed the button to the Grandmasters' Quarters. He had to get permission to use the training rooms, which he desperately needed. Once he reached the room he knocked quietly on the door and waited for a response.

The Grandmaster sat so comfortably in his chair, as he watched a small hologram form in the center of his room, the desk before him laid still, motionless; it seemed the very moment he took the rank of Grandmaster papers began to stack on his desk. He had spent several sleepless nights trying to catch the Jedi Order back up and bring it back to life, so to speak. The papers were necessary, some of the papers dealt with fire codes, zoning issues, and even food issues. It was everything that was needed to keep the place up and as it was just recently built, maintaining it was key for its growth. His simple metal desk was not the only thing taking up space in his room. His eyes glanced around the room, just to take in his newly given quarters for the first time since he had actually been in it. He hadn't even realized that fact until now, and it was at this moment that he heard a loud knock on his double doors.

Ga'an rose from his sleek, gray cushioned metal chair, and looked onward to the doors before him, with a touch of his mind the holocron he had further been examining shut off. The room was bare, quiet, and without the slightest degree of motion for what seemed to be forever. A small sigh and a nonchalant gesture rolled off the Grandmaster as he took gently steps towards his visitor, passing his own uniquely designed bed and closet, everything within his room was basic, the only outstanding feature was the large window that sat directly behind his desk and chair, it lit up the entire room and filled the room with a view like no other. Ga'an had added it to the room when he began the Grandmaster along with replacing his automatic doors with two double doors that had normal handles, though it still contained the advanced security system that had been set into place by one of the Jedi Masters that was quite knowledgeable about technology itself.

It was a relief for the Grandmaster, as he did not prefer to have anyone other than Jedi present in the Temple, unless such permission was granted by him. His thoughts strayed to the side as he arrived at his door, putting his hand on the handle and turning it as he slid back the door to reveal a padawan standing before his very eyes. It was always nice to see the youth of each passing generation, this youth was a stand out from the rest, he knew very well whom stood before him. The tragedy of losing a Master during an apprenticeship was rare, but not unheard of. The Grandmaster was doing all that he could to find the young lad a Master, but with so much to worry about and finally just getting the temple together, if there were any spare Knights or Masters they were busy dealing with negotiations or something to expand the order to its former height.

His eyes scanned the young padawan and then he opened his mouth to speak, hoping he could discover his reasons for coming to see him."Yes? Ah, Mister Odar Ti, I haven't seen you for quite some time, what is it that you are in need of? And in other relations, I have been very adamant about finding you another Master, we are just very tight on Jedi currently." As soon as his words left his mouth, Ga'an found himself pondering the idea of letting him inside his office or just staying where they were, it would all be placed in the hands of Odar, for his words would be their guide as to what would take place. Ga'an shifted his weight onto the door that his hand still held firmly within his grasp, awaiting the reply of the padawan.

Odar looked curiously at the Jedi. He had only seen him a couple of times, maybe talked to him once before. He then inspected the room behind him. It looked like an mess with the papers on the desk. He once again reverted his eyes to Ga'an. Odar didn't know where to start. Right now there was somebody who was actually talking to him, and he wanted to spill his guts talking about the death of Master Katya. He held his tongue though, and looked quite stupid doing so.

Odar then spoke up, "Thank you for your time, I... didn't expect to be on the list of looking for masters so... soon." Odar was positive it would take ages for them to find someone that would be good for him. He was probably the least of their priorities too. There might be Jedi dying right now, like Master Katya, and Odar is there, looking for a master.

His headtails shivered and it went up like a wave up to his montral. He hated that feeling. Odar stood there in silence. He felt vain. He like the center of the world, which he wanted least, and was against the Jedi's ways. He felt he should be out there helping the others, wiping out those who killed his master, his only person in the Order he loved, the person who brought him in the order. He wanted to avenge.

Ga'an could easily read the boys emotions and thoughts, it was clear they were clouded, the boy was unsure of so much. This boy is treading close to the dark side, if I do not hurry, I may lose this one to the dark side. Ga'an thought as he read the young Togruta, while his weight shifted off the door and he released his grip on it. "Hmm.. You seem very troubled, I can see your Master's death is still haunting you. You must know Odar, that it is not your fault what happened. I am not like the Grandmaster before me or any other for that matter. I believe each Jedi no matter the rank or species should be treated as every other. In your case though, special exceptions can be granted, you are in more need than most now, you must be taught the ways of the force, in which you are to be given a new Master to guide you. Know now, Odar, that attachment to those we are close to is acceptable now, but do not let it guide you down a darker path. Now, Odar, what is it that you seek?" his voice still soft and gentle, but it held a strong sense of power behind it. Ga'an did not like having his a Padawans troubled, or seeking dark ways to resolve things, as it was not the only way to do things. This is why he was so adamant in finding this particular Padawan a Master. He needed guidance and training to further understand. He would still wait for the Padawan to give him his reason for coming to the Grandmaster.

Odar knew the Grandmaster was scanning his thoughts and feelings. He didn't like the invasion. It made him look weak. He hid his feelings, imitated the anger going away. Pushing it back into a non-existent closet. Put it aside for later. He took a deep breath, "I want to be a Jedi, and devote my life to the ways of the light side of the Force. I want to help the Republic as it wipes out the last of the injustice from this galaxy. I want... balance." Odar said no more. It was what he wanted, but things where getting in the way. Deaths, losses, sacrifices. All being slashed by a saber, or killed by starvation, or death from the will to no longer live. It was to much for someone so young. Odar seemed to have innocence until recently, he didn't know what devotion was until now.

It seemed the anger was calming, but very slowly, like it was being eaten by a sarlaac. He took another deep breath, "Master, my request holds for the Training Rooms." Maybe he could get some anger out from the training rooms, chopping droids would suffice, but Odar didn't know for how long. He felt awkward being standing there waiting for an answer. It was a diversion to get away from being seen through like a cloth for his inner desires. He wanted out, he wanted as far away from the quarters as he could.

The subtlety of the young boy was obvious, Ga'an now knew what he wanted and why he had came, it would now only be matter of his decision as to what they would do. " Odar, I am going to see about finding you a Master, as soon as possible, but let us talk a stroll to the Training center, and I will also see about getting my Padawan to meet us there, I will show you around and allow you to use it later on, but I have something in mind for you." he said as he began to walk, not even glancing back to see if Odar was following him or not. The motion in which he moved was swift, he went from standing still to gliding down the corridor and as he did so, his robes fluttered slightly behind him as he went.

"I have a Master in mind, that may train you, and if not permanently, then at least temporarily. Just know I will ensure to the best of my abilities that you will be trained." his voice kept a sternness in it, but he never once veered off course or even so much as looked to where he was going, his mind was elsewhere and others would be unknowing as to what it was he was pondering on. The Grandmaster reached out with a small portion of the force and spoke to his Padawan telling her to meet them at the Training Rooms. This meeting would be very interesting, if this two enjoyed each other's company, than a bond would form and some of the young boy's thoughts would stray from his dead Master and be put into a more positive light. It was only moments later that the Grandmaster realized that he had already arrived at the Training Room, and now he would just need to wait for his Apprentice to show.
