The Rules [MUST READ]
Rule 0 — The rules are to obeyed. The spirit and the letter of the law are the same on this site, and you will treat them as such. Anyone caught exploiting loopholes in the rules will be treated with the same punishments as the people who break the rules blatantly. This is rule zero for the simple reason that no one should be trying to find loopholes anyway, so this should not have to be said. Do not break or bend the rules.

Rule 1 — The other members of this site (STAFF INCLUDED) are here to have fun. Do not ruin the fun of the site by insulting, deriding, or humiliating other members of the site. The common netiquette term for that is ‘flaming' and it is never allowed, for any reason.

Rule 2 — The roleplay is not real, so let in-character remain in-character. Problems you face in the roleplay, as well as rivals and enemies, are not going to follow you into the out-of-character sections. Do not drag them with you. What happens in the roleplay does not justify arguments or complaints unless what happens in the roleplay disobeys the rules.

Rule 3 — The account you use is your responsibility. All punishments will reflect that fact. If you have a sibling or a parent who uses your computer and they use your account to spam or post illicit content, you will suffer for the offense whether you perpetrated it or not. The offense was from your account and you will be held responsible. Do not give out information to your account.

Rule 4 — Real life information is private. Do not solicit information from other members. You may post personal pictures, names, addresses, or phone numbers as they see fit, but you may not ask. Even joking, this is not permitted. Do not try to obtain the personal information of other members.

Rule 5 — Real life problems are private. Do not post ‘life problems' threads, and do not include ‘life problems' information in any away posts that you put on this board. This site is meant to be used for fun and entertainment, not attention-whoring or moral support.

Rule 6 — Anything written by a member here is considered copyright material belonging to the original poster. Do not use any writing from a member here without explicit, public permission from the original poster. (This includes use of other people's CHARACTERS in roleplays.)

Rule 7 — Anything written by a member here is considered either site canon or site fanon. Site canon is approved by the staff due to having not violate any roleplaying guidelines. Site fanon is unapproved by the staff due to having violated at least one roleplaying guideline.

Rule 8 — No new character, not even one from a member who has had other characters approved here, may begin with a manifested awareness of their own Force sensitivity. There will be no characters who start with Force abilities and there will be no characters who start knowing that they can gain them. [Note: this does not include player-controlled canon characters.]

The Guidelines [MUST READ]
Guideline 0 — The guidelines are to be followed. The guidelines are the tool the staff will use to determine which threads become site canon and which will become site fanon. Deviation from the guidelines WILL NOT be punished in any way that affects members' accounts. The affects of deviating from the guidelines will ONLY be in-character and roleplay-related.

Guideline 1 — All threads must have at least two (2) participants to become site canon.

Guideline 2 — All battle threads must have at least six (6) participants to become site canon.

Guideline 3 — The death of a character must be approved by one (1) administrator or two (2) moderators to become site canon. A character who is killed without the permission of its owner will be dead according to site canon only if the staff votes by a PUBLIC super-majority vote that the character would LOGICALLY die in that scenario. [Note: a super-majority vote requires two-thirds or more of the staff to vote in favor in order for it to pass into canon.]

Guideline 4 — The destruction or theft of property from another character must be approved by one (1) member of staff to become site canon. Property that is stolen without the permission of its owner will be stolen according to site canon only if two members of the staff PUBLICLY vote that the manner in which the property was stolen was LOGICAL.

Guideline 5 — Staff decision regarding character deaths and stolen property may be disputed in the Feedback forum. A limit of one argument post from each member involved will be in effect. The full staff will PUBLICLY vote again regarding the issues, and in either case there must be a super-majority vote for the decision to remain site canon.

Guideline 6 — The obtaining of new property by a character must be approved by a member of the staff at the end of the thread in which the property was obtained.

Guideline 7 — The obtaining of new skills, abilities, or powers by a character must be approved by an administrator at the end of the thread in which the skills, abilities, or powers were obtained.

Guideline 8 — Any form of power playing is forbidden. [Note: power playing here is defined as using or affecting another player character without explicit, public permission from the owner of that character to do so. Note 2: the use or affect must involve a character directly to count as power playing.]

Guideline 9 — Any form of god modding is forbidden. [Note: god modding here is defined as the use of your own player or non-player character in such a way that implies that they are stronger, faster, smarter, more resilient, more powerful, or better than all other characters. Note 2: if you are writing in a narrative style from which in can be inferred that you are god modding based on the way you have written something, you will still be held accountable.]
