With the startling realization that their whereabouts was known and possibly revealed along with the arrival of a mysterious social figure that could ante up the price to by a New Age Cruiser... this was bad very bad Leto felt. It was a sense he felt most sincere about, but it was not his hand to say a thing to the rest. It would be unprofessional and most likely disregarded.

Leto kept quite placing his palms together in his lap and trying to focus. He reached out to his Guard Captain Irruli and gently brushed the mans mind. The force would gently ripple outwards in communication. The conversation that would vocally be unseen would be one of preparedness. This was something Irruli was proficient in... being prepared. First in his class he was the paragon in his rank when it came to Guard Tactics and Group Leadership.

Leto gained a calmed thought as Irruli insured him safety would not be a worry if worst came to worst. Leto in a situation of violence would be hampered in the fact he refused to make physical contact that could harm. He had been trained in Prise Warfare and their Martial Skills, but those were more disciplinary measures. Definately he wished to implement in his life's career.

Irruli was stern watching his Royal Ward in his protective custody. He scanned him for being still so young among their people and holding much wisdom yet inside scared as a child and cautious at times as one. It worried him that Leto would be throwing the Imperium of the Prise into unsteady shores, but certain judges and council figures supported his Neo-Democratic ideals. The Empress while Irruli supported her final decision felt at times could be too cross with her Nephew, but to him she was right Leto was too much of an Idealist. Something that this Empire could not support.

Irruli closed his eyes thinking about the Empress' request. To influence Leto's decision the best way possible. He was still young and could be changed unlike previous radical leaders kept in the Royal Prisons of Vougarok & Sloughora. Irruli feared even with his Influence, but Leto's youth made him too headstrong. He feared Leto was on the path of the Jekatulu traitors to their own people. Their radical idealism a people that had cost him many a men in his lead striking at the royal heirs. Coup after coup something the Courts or News would tell the people. Peace must be established but those like him apart of the Guard Squads knew a coup was in the work almost every day. It would only get worse these delegations and the expanse of the Prise people in the galaxy would offer greater threat. More violence and terrorism. It did not matter change was inevitable and the Empress also realized that. Hopefully the Empire could brave this storm.

Leto focused his attention into the conversation calmed by the Reassurance of his men. His palms breaking he laid them flat on the table.

"Are we not overreacting at this moment. I am sure the Kuati leadership are fully aware of the circumstance and have our best intentions in mind. Plus it would be foolish to start an attack here. Guards, ships, enough artillery to quickly sweep a Galactic Quadrant with ease. This is the heart of the Kuati Empire no one would dare try a thing especially with the added aid of our own men on this day."

So sure of himself he trusted too much came off to naive with confidence no doubt Teslan and other members would feel a need to scrutinize and question the Royalty of the Prise for their choice in ambassador. On the other side he held a valid point, but nothing that any of them would like believe. Not enough trust has been established to keep a calm assurance between the delegates.

Before Maz could even begin to reply, in an effort to calm people down, the Mandalorian snorted. "This is Kuat, my friends. There are always foreign dignitaries here. I somehow doubt the buyer, or their representative has any idea which specific dignitaries are here this day. I say, let's enjoy the show. Though, I too, am curious. Will we get to see this demonstration from here, or from the vessel itself?"

Maz smiled. "I assure you, if the buyer knows who, specifically is here, they have not handed this piece of mysticism off to us. However, the invitation is for you to recieve a tour of the ship, and view the demonstration from it's bridge. So, I will recommend we close this meeting, that we might all have time to review what work we have thus far accomplished, as well as time to adequetely prepare for our demonstration."

Original Poster: Tiesa Asheni

Tiesa stood up as she was getting sore sitting there on the ground. She had heard the last bits and pieces of the converstation that she had been trying all along to listen to and hearing that they were going to the bridge decided to go along with them. Heading off before they could come out and find her milling around doing nothing she began walking off towards the bridge...or at least tried to.

The sound of thier boots was the frist thing she heard, the second the sound of thier voices. "Princess! There you are!" Teisa closed her eyes to the sound hoping that if she wished hard enough her personal guards would disappear and go away not bothering with her. She was perfectly fine on her own, or so she thought. Turning around however she smiled at them and shrugged.

"I've been around and about before you even think of asking, and yes I did sneak out on you. Why? Because I get sick and tired of being watched and I'd rather be on my own to think sometimes than have the four of you breathing down my neck," she stated as she looked at thier shocked expressions at her sudden but not unusual outburst.

The leader shook his head and then sighed. "Princess you know that we must stay with you at all times, whether you like it or not it is our duty to you and the Empress that we are with you, allow us to follow you?"

Tiesa shrugged as she thought for a moment before looking back at the four of them and replying, "At a distance you may." She turned on her heel with that and headed off towards the bridge.

((OOC; This post is for all of my characters present - Gharna, the Captain, the Operator, and Fjett.

Inara Gharna simply had fun watching the debacle. Everyone reacted differently to the fact that "dignitaries" were around and simply took the message out-of-context. Or maybe she had. Either way, the question was answered, and the only real thing the Nadeshi representatives had done was sit up.

"Certainly an up-close examination of the vessel would be a good idea," Inara said, a faint smile cracking. " It would certainly be benificial for all parties to see the culmination of your works." She rose, and continued, "today has been most beneficial - I'm certain all of the parties we are representing will not regret the decision, in the long run."

As the others of the Nadeshi convention - the Captain and the Operator - rose, she bowed slightly, and said, in archaic form, "<May our futures onverge>," and the diplomat and escort left the room.
_______________________________

The old Captain was certainly not satisfied with the meeting- true, everything had gone according to plan, but how some of the dignitaries responded alarmed him. He could not relax even after having left the room - there was far more to this then what was discussed. He felt that some sinister things could come to Nadeshi out of this alliance.

Or maybe it was a harbringer of better days yet to come for the rest of the galaxy. Maybe it was the simple lack of intelligence that was driving him. On a more relaxing thought, when the Florencia got back to port, he would simply retire. Thankfully.

________________________________

Aboard the Florencia, d'Elteh was joked around at for being the temporary CO. The injury of the current XO did make things slightly awkward - that and hopefully they wouldn't be stationed here too long. Kuat certainly was nice, but floating here without sensory feeds made crew members accustomed to Nadeshi space uneasy - the large number of contacts and the support of only onboard sensors, even though they were very, very keen, made sensor verification impossible. In fact, it was beginning to be a good excersize getting used to optical verification.

Leto stayed back as Gharna took his leave he nodded to Irruli saying aloud to the other representatives,

"It would be quite wonderful to see this new vessel in action indeed. Also I feel refreshing before the show upon the bridge would be welcoming."

Standing with a bow Leto gave his respects,

"All Mothers Fortunate Ashes may the rain for you."

Turning around politely he walked towards Irruli who was prepared ordering the other guards to follow.

"Irruli get me Vaskus... I believe I am in need of his service."

He told Irruli which while moving gave a hand signal sending a guard off to Vaskus. Irruli was then suprised to hear the Duke follow up his previous statement with a question,

"Irruli how do you believe I did?"

Irruli could only crack a smile and chuckle.

"How unbecoming of a royal officer to mock his ward."

Leto replied to his Guard Captains gesture. Irruli though sighed lightly with words easy enough to explain,

"You misunderstand me m'lord... It is just when you ask me that question it reminds deep within that genius mind still exist a child seeking approval of his elders."

Placing a hand on leto's shoulder he slowly recited,

"The only approval one should seek is from ones self. All others are pointless when brought to the heart of the situation."

Leto smirked Feeling almost teased by Irruli with the recital,

"Avan Exellius, The Path of War... I know it well Irruli. No I meant do you believe that I did well for the people, and our Empress?"

Irruli wished to avoid the question but it seemed young Leto was persistent enough to keep his focus.

"Young Lord I believe you did a brave thing, something many of us would not openly agree to... However in ways I trust you know what is best Lord. Empress Orin would not have appointed you this position if she did not..."

He was cut off quickly by Leto who seemingly changed his tone,

"I know why the Empress appointed me this position. She had no other choice. A Prince must prove himself on a political scale and the Kuati insisted that. If it weren't that way she would of sent her loyal little lap dog Radha. No Empress Orin does not trust me... I hear her thoughts sometimes when I meditate. She thinks I will become a traitor that I am..."

Irruli inturn swiping his brow broke in,

"Young Lord please do not speak of the other royal family that way."

Leto would turn his head away and keep walking,

"I know she has her grip around you Irruli, and that you do not fully agree with me. Not alot of Prise Loyalists do. I know however you feel akin to me and do not wish me banished. Then trust me when I say this change is not just me. The Empress cannot prevent it, and I am only trying to ease us into it. I am being realistic not idealistic if you will about it."

Irruli bit his tongue at Leto as he spoke so domineering in the halls. Leto however lightened his stern presence turning to Irruli with a grin touching his shoulder,

"Don't worry though... I have faith in you. You will do the right thing when it arises, and I do not scorn you for being loyal. No I only warn you to see things in a greater perspective. Our Empress is wonderful, but she is not allowing us to see that Greater Picture."

Irruli nodded with a bit confusion and doubt sinking in his chest but almost as if Leto read his thoughts he spoke kindly,

"You are a great man Irruli."

Both continued to walk off to his Kuati Royal Quarters. This was a long day for all of them.

"Excellent," Teslan responded, "I trust you will forward the information to my attendants? However, I believe I shall return to my vessel until your clients arrive."

There was nothing more to be said, the meeting was clearly over and several of the delegates had already left. Soon the masters of the new warship would arrive and the shake down voyage would begin. Even though he had no intention of purchasing any of the new ships once they were available, it would be prudent to pay close attention to how the vessels operated. With any luck, Teslan would be able to bring a couple fresh ideas to the engineers and design crews back home.

Without another second's hesitation Teslan gave those remaining a quick salute and strode from the room. Once out in the corridor, the security detail he had left there formed up and escorted the dignitary back to his ship.
