okej, i forgot who asked me to post this here, but i'll do it anyways. i'm a member from the replica propmaking forum, the 501st starwars propmaking forum and the 405th halo propmaking forum. i'm specialized in costuming. first i make a 3d model and unfold it so i can make it in real life ![]() this i fiberglass it to make it strong like hell, and use body filler to smooth certain areas out. I havnt done mutch on this one yet, still need to smootj the white areas more till i choose on doing another area. ![]() i'll post my progress here is i come closer to finish it! |

Don't want to go off topic, but did you use MilkShape 3D to make the armour design? |

Blender huh? I've used that before now, but it was too difficult for me. MS3D is more for the beginners so I can use it better. Blender is difficult to install isn't it? It asked me to d/l about 5 plugins before I could get into it! |

no not anymore, since version 1.7 its just one instal. but python script not included ofcourse. with this instal, you can model, texture, material, animate, rig, render and mutch more... and yes, its kinda an advanced program. But if you learn it you'll be more advanced in 3d. |
