That's right... you read correctly... and no, you don't need to go get reading glasses. If you read 'Moose', your eyes are in tip-top shape. Our horses, of which we have 5, were going wild! They'd never see anything like it in their lives, so they were snorting and running like crazy, just so freaked out by the Moose, which was only about 100 yards away from them.   It went up the hill, nibbled at a tree, and then, oddly enough, plunked down right outside our neighbors' house.  Notice the yellow tag on it's ear... I think that's something the BLM stuck on it to keep track of it. Which means if we see a moose in the future we'll know if it's the same one or not.   Acadia, Katy, or Fudgey (as in Fudge), doesn't matter what you want to call her.  She thinks she's running for her life. Caramel, thoroughly freaked out by the Moose... note the ears, how they're both pointed forwards... that means she's focusing on something. The high neck and head means she's alarmed.  That's Katy in front, Caramel in the middle, and Angel in the back. They're running for their lives!  Sierra, running like mad. Exciting!

Awww I Luv Horses!  ....they always remind me of a guy i used to date   CooL pics...we've tons of Moose up here in Canada too!...Hmmm ever wonder why a group of Moose arn't called "Meese"?....I mean seriously more than one Goose are referred to as "Geese". WTF?..... I think I'll ask "Dagoogle*"

We have mostly Arabian horses... we love how smooth they are when riding. Sierra is half Arabian, half Quarter Horse, and Katy (Acadia, Fudgey, whatever ) is mostly Paint with a little Thoroughbred and Missouri Fox Trotter. Because of the Fox Trotter she has, she's really smooth too.
