So, from what I've heard, Bungie (who developed Halo) has an announcement taking place on Wednesday. Supposedly this is for Halo "Blue," which doesn't have you play as Master Chief, and instead it's squad-based, as in playing with up to 8 people. Sony was pretty much stabbed to death by Square Enix when SE announced Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 and 360. Hahaha, poor Sony. Gears of War 2 has been slated for release on November 7th, Resident Evil 5 for March 13th of next year, and Fable 2 has been announced as "finished" (and it due for release in October. blah, blah, blah, stuff I don't care about... Xbox 360 Pro (erm.. the one with 20 GB) dropped to $300, and a new Xbox 360 design (with 60 GB) announced for $350. Nothing ground-breaking announced for the Wii or DS yet... Rock Band 2 setlist announced (it's somewhere on the internet...) with a basic list made of 84 songs, without any DLC. Remember, any songs downloaded for Rock Band are okay on 2. 360 gets RB2 two months ahead of all the other systems, and there's supposed to be over 500 songs available by 2009. Fallout 3 is currently shaping up to be amazing. However, we all know that we're waiting for Nintendo's secret game announcement, which will pretty much blow everything out of the water if it's a new Zelda game (Twilight Princess didn't really count towards the "one Zelda per console" rule, seeing as it was for Gamecube as well). That's pretty much all the news from 1 day of E3...sweet. |

Keeping recent with video games, seeing as E3 is the biggest video game expo in the world, and to see the opinions of the other people in the class that play games. What I wrote up there pretty much captured my thoughts, and I'm not saying that that's all to E3, but those are just the things that captured my attention. If you mean what's the point of your post, I'd say it's to ask a question while at the same time upping your post count. Edited by Jimmy, Jul 15 2008, 02:35 AM.

Haha. Sony doesn't stand a chance against FF. Wish they'd release it for wii, though. (person without 360 or PS3 cries) |

this IS the genereal discussion spot, RIGHT? So... you don't really have to be talking about class. That'd be retarded. |

lol, gang beat. Yeah, FF13 would be pretty cool on the Wii (main character has a gunblade apparently, so that'd be cool to control), but I'm not sure the Wii could handle it. Plus, Nintendo still hasn't come up with the external hard drive for memory solution (360 is using 6 discs or something for all the content), so I'm not even sure the Wii could handle it without blowing up or something...sad face for Nintendo. |
