Oh hai gaiz, remember this? Yessir, I'm going to remake my old topic, "the battling game", only newer, bigger, better, and flashier! My skills of the fight have greatly improved, as have my plot development skills. For those of you who don't remember the drill, here's how it goes: -I pick two or more characters to go at it in a BATTLE TO THE DEATH! -You, the members, vote on who wins -In case of a tie, my vote shall be nullified -Anyone may then write the ending to the battle once the victor has been decided. I'll be writing the first and the last, though. -Only I will write the intros to the battles, to keep a coherent plot All of those rules good? Excellent! ...yeah, right now, if you have any suggestions for characters to add... But, I suppose I'll start Match #1! --- He had vanquished many foes. Their blood dripped from his blade as he silently struck down his foes. He felt remorse for each, yet...a certain thrill had overcome his body. The thrill to find a worthy foe. Yes, there was that dark and evil king he vanquished, he was a beloved hero, and he always was the sharpest sword. But...just once, he wished that a worthy foe would present itself. He sighed as he climbed atop a block. Why couldn't he find a worthy foe? When would be find the excitement he desired? Why...was he on the floor? His face made contact with the dirt below. He spat out the grass and stared directly into one, beautiful heart. He sighed. Just another walk in the park... Link Vs Weighted Companion Cube |

Oh. God. Yes. I remember this! I loved how you made Ashnard, and even Goomba back then. I'm sure that this will be a magically hilarious story as well.

YES IT'S BACK!!! Anyways, I vote for Link. I have a questions regarding MegaMan and ProtoMan, are they their original robot versions, or are they say their Battle Network versions? |

I always stick to the classics. Sorry, I've been having huge writer's block and am generally really tired. I'll write up the battle ASAP, though that might not be as soon as it should be... I'm also adding a couple of characters on a whim. Edited by Kamekguy, Nov 18 2008, 08:53 PM.

Link Vs Weighted Companion Cube The Hero of Time sighed as he drew his legendary sword from its sheath. He rose the holy blade over his head, the magical item glittering in the sunlight. He then pointed the Master Sword directly at the companion cube and smiled. With one loud scream, he unleashed a massive burst of holy energy directly at his opponent. A gleaming sword of godly power erupted from the base of the Master Sword and struck the cube. Link smirked, certain his foe would be vanquished. However, he soon found his face burning from a sudden blow. The crafty Companion Cube had done absolutely nothing, and in doing this, allowed its hide to reflect the blast. Link cried out in pain, digging through his tunic to find something to toss at the Cube. Eventually, he found a bomb. That'd do the trick! Link couldn't wait to bomb the Link hurtled back into a rock as his bomb blasted in front of himself. He screamed in anger as he quickly charged forward, slashing wildly at his opponent with the Master Sword. However, all the Companion Cube did was budge slightly with every blow Link delivered. The Hylian hero's eyes widened at the seemingly invincible foe. Link attempted to pierce the cube in its heart with the pointy tip of his blade, but to no avail. The striking of the heavily concentrated metal in the center of the companion cube caused the Master Sword to vibrate, unleashing a holy shockwave that, once again, knocked Link for a loop. Link screamed as he flew up through the air and fell down head-first upon the ground. Once again, he glared at his opponent. With all of his strength, Link proved why he was considered a one-man army. Bringing out arrows, bombs, bomb arrows, shields, swords, boomerangs, whistles, magic wands, hookshots, clawshots, masks, slingshots, candles, and tons of other equipment, Link wrapped his weapons up in a spare tunic. He then lit a blue candle and hurled the massive pile of weapondry at the cube. Immediately, the weapons burst out in all directions with a huge explosion. Link narrowly dodged a rain of arrows and blades by hiding behind a tree. However, his limbs were badly cut by his reckless attack. Link looked forward and saw no Weighted Companion Cube in his path. He smiled. He'd done it. Now, to just get back to the Hyrule Castle Infirmary and... BAM! The Hero of Time was dead. The Weighted Companion Cube was shot into the air by Link's final attack, and came crashing down upon his back. Link's internal organs were all punctured and crushed by the cube, ending his life instantly. Like a true hero, the Companion Cube "..."'d in silence at his victory. He was then hit by a stray boomerang, dragged off to who-knows where... WEIGHTED COMPANION CUBE WINS!!!! |

BANG! And with that, all of the soldiers cowered in fear at the sight of the old man. Without second thought, he shot right in the air. BANG! But this time, it was real, and not just his exclamation. One of the soldiers gasped as the bullet penetrated the back of their neck. He gasped for air before rolling over on the cold, stone floor. Dead. The soldiers panicked. They were prepared to die for their country, yes, but this...this monster was cold, calculating, evil. The figure turned around and laughed. "I suggest you leave immediately. This place is rigged with enough Semtex to blow it straight to the heavens. Either make peace with your goddess, or be buried in the ruins of this castle." he threatened. His words were smooth, but piercing to the soul. The soldiers' eyes widened and they, immediately, fled the scene. The man laughed once more, then continued down a long, black carpet... "BRAVO! BRAVO! Absolutely fantastic!" a massive man applauded. He rose from his throne, his iron boots shaking the entire structure. A huge roar erupted from behind him, from the dark shadows. The attacking figure strolled into the room, twirling twin guns and spurs scraping the carpet. "You're a tough man to find." the figure approaching the throne stated. He tucked his guns into two fasteners and applauded. "Hell had no vacancies?" "HA! No, Yune's no chaotic being, that's for certain! Not a violent bone in her body! No worthy opponents! Will YOU be any different?" he laughed, swinging a giant blade around. The figure smirked. "Hoping you'd ask that. Makes my job a lot easier." And with that, the old man walked into the light. "DRAW!" Revolver Ocelot Vs Ashnard ...yeah, I'd be crazy not to vote for Ocelot >_> |
