Alright, so I missed a total division, but I didn't know it was going on right now! So far, it looks like Luigi will make it in 1st in division 2 column 1, and Liquid in 2nd. I personally cannot wait until Division 4 Battles start... Amaterasu and Ike go head to head! (I'm predicting Amaterasu and Crono win Column 1... that I despise, as Crono will probably win.) (ARGH. Looks like Ike'll lose to the likes of Pikachu as well.) |

I didn't try my hand at a bracket this year. What with Nana and L-Block and Dog and Jinjo in the mix, I thought it would be nearly impossible to pick a straight character. I'm rooting for Mario and Bowser to win their division, no matter how awesome pretty-boy-with-daddy-issues and plumberous wettus are. I don't really care for the character battle that much, as it's pretty obvious that one of the Big 6 (Link, Cloud, Sephiroth, Mario, Solid Snake, or Samus Aran) or a joke character will win. Oh well... GO DK AND DIDDY AND OCELOT! WHOOOO!!! |

Two cult classics (Crono and Ammy) go head to head... and yet Crono will win. I don't have a grudge against him; his game is great, but I just want Okami to win something for once. >.> |

The contest is never surprising, with the exception of last year. But now that joke characters are expected (especially Jinjo, who is awesome), there will be no surprises. It'll be a joke character VS another joke character VS Link VS Cloud or something. I just wish someone really deserving, like Bowser or Revolver Ocelot, would win. Cloud's pathetic, Link's an empty shell, Sephiroth has two distinguishing qualities, and Mario is...okay... Solid Snake is the only character that I think deserved to win that actually won. Sugoi, amirite? These people just keep on voting for the same characters every time. No matter how... many people used to not expect him. Cloud deserved to win, when his game was out a pretty long time ago. Now? Nah. Link actually shows a lot of personality through his emotions and grunts, but still doesn't deserve to win over some like him *coughAmaterasucough*. Sephiroth was an awesome character IMO, but he's sort of an annoying darkly guy too, so he shouldn't win. Mario has already won to my knowledge so... no. I'm all for Ammy, Ike, or Snake to win. |

...Ike? Seriously? He has the distinct personality of sandpaper, c'mon, even you have to admit that. Kicks ass in battle, though... Mario is Mario. He's, like, timeless. Plus, he had tons of personality in SMRPG (TRANSFORMING CHARADES! HOORAY!), and fights an insanely good fight. It doesn't really matter if he already one, he's just...he's just got this charm. When you wish upon a Mario game, makes no difference if you're lame, everything your heart desires come baaaaaaaaack tooooooooo yoooooooouuuuuuu~. When your heart's in mushroom drreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaams, No quality is tooooo exxxxxxtreeeeeeeeeeeeme. When you wiiiiish upon the plumber, Your wwwwiiiiiiiish coooooooooomes truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeee~. Yeah...Mario rocks. Link is just...I don't feel anything from him. I look at him, and I get an empty feeling inside my chest. Unless he can't wait to bomb some Dodongos, he feels just...soulless. Pretty epic, but soulless... Nah, I'd like to see a guy like Ocelot or Snake or Wario or Bowser go away with the title. Characters like Luigi or Banjo would also be pretty cool. Just not emo bi...Cloud, mama bo...Sephiroth, grunting mo...Link, or sexy soulless seductress, Samus Aran. |

I completely agree with you guys, lets get a deserving character to win this time around. Not something like L Block, that was just horrible. But I predict that the winner will be The Dog. |

I'm a Fire Emblem fan, that's all I have to say. *walks away slowly* *THE FOLLOWING IS SERIOUS* Agreed that he doesn't have the best personality, but considering I don't see Gatrie, Haar, or Ranulf up there, I'm still going with him. He fights for his friends, so he dun liek it when you called him gruff 'n stuffy. :(... XD |

I expect Jinjo. And at least Marth has a personality (and is pretty, oh so pretty~). I just wish I could see Donkey Kong in Round 3, where he deserves to be... I really wonder how far King Dedede and Revolver Ocelot can pull. Dedede's a newcomer, but I was surprised he even got in. Then again, MK did, too, as did Lucario and Ike and...pretty much everyone on the Brawl roster except Pokemon Trainer, Wolf, Mr. Game & Watch, Jigglypuff, and...well, Ness got in before, so forget him. Ocelot's going up against Sephiroth, so...yikes...good luck to you, Revolver. |

I would describe Marth as a daring fellow, but he holds back if he needs to. Considering that he starred in an NES game and an SNES omnibus, I think that suffices. I would be happy if he, or any other Fire Emblem character, won. After playing a chapter in PoR again, WTB (what the bleep omglololol)!? Ike certainly does have a personality, not one that's daring, but one that's brave, somewhat brash, and even a little sorrowful. In RD, Ike's personality dropped many leagues, and practically even changed him, but I still saw the old Ike in a few places, which was refreshing. Then there's Amaterasu... I guess I should provide 'personality-insight' on her too, huh? Being a God, Amaterasu doesn't really kneel down to anyone, instead, she destroys the evil ones amongst the world, and provides happiness, safeness, and caring to the good ones. She is incredibly animated in Okami, shelling out both dog-log and human-like behaviors. She was very playful and begged for food from Mrs. Orange and various others (dog), but has the understanding and caring traits of a human. Aside from all of that... she is the dog with the laugh that isn't annoying (another XD right?)! Well... there's my reasoning, which brings me up to an idea: Let's make our own Mercurious Character Battles. Starting with nominations, and ending with the second Mercurious 2 mascot being named.
