Roy, Do You Mind If He Returns?

I played FE6 and did not care for Roy very much at all - he was basically the sort of generic hero you'd find being the main character of an NES RPG, which is not acceptable at all nowadays - but I feel if there was either going to be Roy or no third FE character at all, then I'd like to see Roy come back.

Besides, if Lyn, Hector or Eliwood don't get to be playable, Roy would be kind of nice to represent Elibe. Despite the fact that the GBA games aren't generally held in high regard by comparison to the other games in the franchise, I think it deserves some representation as it was a key factor in the series as a whole.

And I don't understand why you made the comment about posting this on the SmashBoards; it's not as though the SmashBoards is some kind of holy mecca for elitest tourney players who don't care about the characters. There's just as many people who talk about the stories and whatnot than there are tourney players. And hell, why can't I appreciate both sides? Sarcasm or no, that came off as an inappropriate comment.

The GBA games aren't held in high regard? o.o; Those were my favorite games.

Honestly, I feel the same why as T3h Kaiser about this comment. You need to watch what you're doing about here Red... Insulting Admins in such a way could get you burnt.

...Or Smashboards is full of halo-tard like noobs who take every chance they can to flame something they disagree with ;)

@ Spoon: Exactly. x3
...and nobody wants Roy back in Smash Bros. Not because of his "personality," but because he just fails.

Not that I don't like Ike, the guy is surely worth to be in the game, but I really miss Roy and his fire attacks :'(
I seriously hope in a return of him for SSB4.

I really wanted Roy to return in Brawl, even though the odds weren't that great for him. I know it sounds strange, but I wanted ALL characters to return, yes even Pichu. I hope that if there is a Smash 4, that the melee characters will return and all Brawl characters will return. I don't want anyone to be cut. Fighting games shouldn't remove characters, characters should be added. Unless of course the main story line for the game features a character dieing, then i guess its ok for that character to go away. But even so there is always a way to bring them back.

Lol? A character dying in the smash storyline?

"And we announce the Legend of Zelda series dying by killing of Link."

Fans: "NOOOOOOOOOO"

Well, the useless clones like Pichu/Roy/Y.Link really kinda deserved to go... I think the only reason Falco didn't was cuz he was so popular.
