No, it's not that. Sakurai's always been that way, always wanting to reach everyone. That's why Kirby's Dream Land was so approachable. But for something like Smash Bros, it just doesn't work. He was able to create a pleasing multiplayer game, I'll admit that, Melee and 64 were both extremely addictive. However...the man just doesn't know when to stop. Melee was a good place to stop, though the characters could use a bit more balance. And...huh, I don't remember that... |

Well I dunno coulda been Red. But I swore it was you Yea, but balancing means that combos are going to have to be escapable, and that fast characters can't make themselves faster (L cancelling). So that means more hindrances... I'm assuming that's how they'd handle the problem. Because I'm sure they know there's always gonna be a way the players are going to find a way to use a certain character's abilities to outdo anyone else's. Well, I have no idea what to say about "the next smash game" Only that if Sakurai were to somehow do it again, it'd take them same path as brawl due to its stellar ratings and copies sold. And maybe even cuz competitive players didn't play it as much as Melee.
