I'm kinda surprised I would, cuz when I first saw SSE (and all of Brawl for that matter) I was like "EEEEEE CAN'T WAIT, goodbye lackluster Adventure mode of Melee!", but what turned out was, you beat SSE, and never bloody touch it again (unless you want to get 100%, but I did and so...) I miss the old adventure mode that was semi-random, not too long but not too short, had good fights at the end of every level, and you could play as any character the whole way through. Co-Op would've been fun to add to that, but SSE, while fleshed out, sadly has no real replayability value...Plus, you'd be able to USE C-STICK. That's for those of you out there who're just gonna say "If you want Melee adventure mode, play Melee..." (coughRedcough) the no-c-stick rule really, REALLY bugs me... it didn't before cuz I thought "C-STICK IS FOR NEWBS!1!1!"... but it's really vital to my playstyle and I can't live without it ^^;; So, agree/disagree. Go! |

The only thing I miss from the Melee adventure mode is the varied environments. And hey, if the game were actually awesome, it would be far more replayable. Case and point: we replay the same levels from Super Mario Bros, Zelda OOT, Metal Gear Solid, and Donkey Kong Country again and again because they're really fun. To me, neither was such, and Melee's adventure was only replayable so I could get those damn character trophies. More secrets, a more engaging, less random story, more nostalgia and fan service, and a huge revamp on gameplay would're really helped SSE. Really, the Ice Climbers, King Dedede, and Luigi - three awesome characters - were nearly rendered useless. |

Ho crap, Ice Climbers had NO PURPOSE. Also Sonic came in way too late >_> I liked playing through Adventure mode again and again just to see how well I could blast through everything. Wolf could've had a great role, and Jigglypuff could've been really mysterious and creepy... mehehehe... |

I love SSE, but I also love the original Adventure and do miss it a lot. I propose for SSB4 that there shall be a certain 'Insert Name of Story Here' Mode (SSE-like) and an 'Arcade Adventure' Mode (SSBM-AM-like). |

I didn't touch the SSE after I played through it the first time. I didn't care enough to get 100%, either. ^_^; |

I only feel that way with the second Research Facility level. That level is annoying without a partner to help solve the puzzles. |

I got 100%, accidentally deleted that file, then got 100% in a matter of a week or less. ![]() It's easy unless it's on intense, and then it's just frustrating. I dunno, something about Melee adventure mode was more fun even though you had no c-stick (MUST KILL). |

Eh, I never had a problem with any of the puzzles. Half the time I didn't even notice there were puzzles. |

That is the only level I ever had problems with, besides the EVIL last level, that is. |
