I say it is. The graphical style is just outrageously cute... It almost has the style of Stafy. Might I add the Saturns and their odd lingo? Bubble Monkey? BuzzBuzz? Mint/Banana/Some Other Fruit/Plain Text Boxes? A dog that can talk (through your telepathy)? I certainly think it is, honestly

No! Earthbound is not cute! You fight drunk old people, blood- covered moles and a demonic, evil alien monstrosity! Also, I don't call beatng dogs lifeless, zombie attacks, and getting killed by rampant signs cute!!!! ( But it is funny!) |

The characters have a sort of cute n' cuddly or creepy design. Heck, I'd hug an Insane Cultist doll. It has sort of a "cute" flare to it, overall, though the story and concept is anything but. And I don't think that Acid Trips are very cute. ^^ But, as a whole, it's where it fits best. |

I think Kamekguy has summed it up the best anyone can. The story isn't cute, like Kirby or Stafy, but the graphics and some text in the game are hilarious. EarthBound can be goofy at times, but isn't all the time. Overall, however, EarthBound is not serious looking enough to be in Serious City. Heh... Sorry turbotaxer! I just had to make this poll! |

Uh... #1, The game IS goofy all the time! #2, I never wanted it to be in Serious City, just in a different category! #3, I guess kids venturing together can be considered "cute"... |

EarthBound will not be getting its own category because it is/does not: 1. A popular third party series (its second, obviously). 2. Really fit anywhere else but Cute Country. Sorry! |
