In Eagleland County, California, everyone was sleeping peacefully through the night. People had been peaceful and quiet here ever since the alien incident 6 months ago. The quiet of the land was uniform and serene, that is, until a bright streak of flame from the sky crashed into a hole created by a similar object, right into Onett, a quiet suburb. The tremors that followed shook the town, waking a young 14 year old boy and his younger sister, who ran out of their rooms, saw each other, and went off to explore the noise.
