| Standard Special |
Howl: Ranulf lets out a piercing screech, paralyzing any opponent nearby for 3 seconds and dealing them 6% damage. If charged, the opponent will be paralyzed for 5 seconds and they will gain 11% damage.
|
| Side Special |
Rend: Ranulf leaps forward a few feet. If there is an opponent in the way, Ranulf will quickly bite the opponent and then jump very close to his starting position. Opponents hit by this attack will be dealt 9% damage. |
| Up Special |
Hawk Rescue: A member of the Hawk Tribe swoops down (it is either Janaff, Ulki, or Tibarn) and rescues Ranulf, lifting him freely in the air for up to 8 seconds before flying off and dropping off Ranulf. No damage is dealt by the hawk while in mid-air, but it is possible for opponents to be damaged by a minor 4% as it swoops down. If the hawk is Tibarn, however, the unlucky opponent will be dealt 18% damage. As expected, Tibarn appears very rarely (1/60% chance). While the hawk is carrying Ranulf, the actual Fire Emblem 'rescue' sign will be shown by the hawk's side. |
| Down Special |
Formshift: Ranulf screeches and returns to Human Form. |
| Final Smash |
Quick Strike: Ranulf jumps into the air and strikes a nearby opponent with a single blow to the front (he hits them with his side), sending them flying. If this manages not to KO an opponent, they will still be dealt 25% damage. |
| Brief Info On Character |
Ranulf is one of the Beast Tribe; a cat laguz to be exact, and Ike of the Greil Mercenarie's childhood friend. In Path of Radiance, he first physically aids Ike by helping him make his way to battle Petrine, one of Daein's Four Legendary Riders. In Radiant Dawn, his importance was increased tenfold, making him become one of many 'lord-like' characters, meaning that if you lost him in most of the battles in the game, it was game over for you. The reason? He was Laguz Alliance General Skrimir's right-hand man, and helped lead many smaller missions for the Alliance.
Ranulf is distinguished by his slightly sarcastic nature and his blue coat. Another noteworthy trait about him is that one of his eyes is blue, and the other a teal-ish green. |
