Standard Special Aria Assault (6%-27%) - Medli pulls out the magical harp that was passed down from Prince Komali's grandmother to her, and strikes a chord. Upon playing on the harp, magical, glowing music notes fly from the front of the harp, doing damage to her foes. Charging the attack increases the damage done, and it is chargable for up to six seconds. Holding the charge for longer than six seconds causes Medli to accidentally break the strings of the harp, dazing her for one second.
Side Special Gift of Zephos (5%-10%) - Medli shouts as she gives one powerful flap of her still-developing wings, causing a gust of wind to blow across the stage. This is a rather quick attack, but it causes Medli to pause for 1-2 seconds after the attack. The gust of wind does minor damage to anyone in front of Medli, as well as pushes them backwards a good distance.
Up Special Pride of the Rito (10%-15%) - A gust of wind blows across the stage, and Medli flaps her wings to boost herself upwards. It is possible to change the direction of where Medli flies, but it is very hard to control and she cannot fly downward. If Medli should make contact with an enemy, she will headbutt them for some damage, but stop flying and become dazed for two seconds; comedic, cartoon-like stars will float around her head as she mumbles to herself.
Down Special Din's Pearl (8%-12%) - Medli reveals Din's Pearl, the magical pearl of the goddess Din. It glows a bright red as two pillars of fire swirl around Medli, protecting her from any melee attacks as well as causing fire damaging to her nearby foes. The pillars swirl around her for up to four seconds, depending on how long the B+V button combo is held. Any foe that gets too close will be “sucked into” the attack, causing them to be damaged by the fire several times. While she is completed protected from melee attacks, it does not defend her from projectiles.
Final Smash The Earth God's Lyrics (25%-40%) - After grabbing the Smash Ball, Medli glows bright yellow, and pulls out her harp. She then begins playing the Earth God's Lyrics, the sacred song of the Sage of Earth. Soon, it becomes apparent that someone else is playing the song with her; Laruto's ghost materializes behind her, playing the same song on a harp as well. The entire stage shakes as pillars of the earth rise up and smash into Medli's foes. The earthquake lasts for eight-to-ten seconds.
Brief Info On Character Medli is a young Rito girl who lives on the island of Dragon Roost, home of the Rito people and Valoo, the Dragon Spirit of the Skies. She is a child who, when Link meets her, is coming into her role as Valoo's attendant, a position she inherited from her predecessor, Komali's grandmother, who was also her teacher. She is a very brave girl who, when Link arrives at Dragon Roost, enters the dungeon under Valoo to try and calm him down. Later in the game, after Link meets Laruto, the previous Sage of Earth whose soul was robbed, Link heads back to Dragon Roost and awakens Medli as the new Earth Sage, as the harp she had also inherited from Komali's grandmother means that being the Earth Sage is her destiny. Medli goes with Link through the Earth Temple, and plays the "Earth God's Lyric" with Laruto at the end to bring back half of the power to the Master Sword. She then stays at the temple to continue to pray for the gods. In the ending, she appears on the pirate ship with Makar, the Wind Sage. She is a skilled harp player and uses it when praying in the Earth Temple. It is said that she is somewhat of a motherly figure to Prince Komali, who instead has a crush on her.
