"You will have my loyalty... If there's anyone out there that wants you dead, I will make sure he will die before he can even reach you. If you ask anything of me, consider it done."

"I know not which of my foes- if any- even exist in this universe; however, if you could bring me the remains of any Belmont- anything to prove their death was brought about by your hands- then I would surely consider you an ally. Do this, and I will bestow a portion of the darkness upon you. A word of advice: If you run into one carrying a whip, I would advise you pick a different target."

"Belmont? Never heard of him. But if one of them is in the Macroverse, I should be able to find and kill him by cutting him down with my sword." Vergil said, being confident that his 'mission' would succeed. vergil made a small bow and turned around, walking out of the throne room. Vergil descended the stairs, strolled out of the castle and made his way to the spacecraft he used to travel to Earth Beta. With that same craft, he made his way to Nexus City, where he'd have the most chance to get the information regarding the location of a Belmont.

Whilst exiting through the castle's foyer, Vergil manages to overhear an intriguing conversation. From the banister, he spots Death once more, but this time, he is not alone. A young woman is there with him...

"You reprimand me for being in the servitude of a demon, yet you come before me in the form of a mortal?!" Death mocked, "You seem to forget; as heir to the throne, I am king until father is restored. Until that time, I would recommend you treat me with the respect I deserve."

"Hollow threats," the woman laughed, "Besides, I know as well as you do that so long as father is sealed, your powers are restricted to those that are to fade away before the morrow, and those that defy fate. My powers, however, are still at their peak."

"Then you were successful?" Death asked.

"Sadly, no," she hesitantly admitted, "The Time Stones were not on Mobius."

"What?!" Death was furious, but tried to refrain from outright shouting, "The Vanguard has no way of sensing a time-shifter! How could you have failed?!"

"They were already gone once I arrived," the woman replied.

"Then the Vanguards must have found them and transported them off planet."

"To what point and purpose? If they were trying to hold them, where would they place them besides Mobius? The bulk of their troops are there, and they'd be foolish to hide them elsewhere... No, whoever acquired the Time Stones is not of the Vanguard... Perhaps on paper, but certainly not by conviction."

"So be it; we will have to acquire them later," Death replied, an obvious hint of frustration in his voice, "For now, we should focus on the Ocarina."

"And by 'we', I assume you mean those of us that are capable?" the woman mocked. Death was clearly infuriated by the remark, but made no reply. "Very well then, I suppose that means I'm off to Hyrule."

With that, the woman left, Death disappearing from sight soon after.

Macroversal Stardate 0.01.22

The trip to Nexus City was uneventful and tedious; upon arrival at Nexus City, Vergil saw the grand lunar metropolis which was heralded as the center of the entire Macroverse's economy. From far away, it seemed as but one titanic building, but as the shuttle approached, one could clearly see silver skyscrapers towering at nearly 1000 stories tall. These metal monoliths were surrounded by countless smaller buildings, the city already housing over 2.3 trillion inhabitants within the two months since the Macroverse had formed, to say nothing of the countless tourists and traders that visited.

[This is totally confusing, awesome and weird. And Vergil managed to overhear it? Excellent.]

When the shuttle landed, Vergil didn't hesitate much and quickly made his way into the center of the city, where he could possibly find more information on the whereabouts on a Belmont family member using the massive amount information the computers could have.

[Indeed he did; and what he does with this information is, of course, up to you.]

Search results prove fruitless; while there is indeed information on the Belmonts, it appears as though their is nothing indicating there whereabouts. One "Lt. Ralph C. Belmont" had signed with the Vanguards, but without access to the Vanguard's files, he could be stationed anywhere. Other than that, there are only vague mentions of a few names: Ritcher, Sonia, Christopher... none of which there seemed to be any solid evidence suggesting they had actually entered the Macroverse. There also were a few reports of a "Simon Belmont", but nothing to confirm his whereabouts.

[Hehe... Knowledge is power and Vergil absolutely loves power.]

So, I've got atleast some names, and I know atleast one of them is sucked in. Now I need to know where he is at the moment... But first things first, I need to know what those Time Stones of Mobius and that Ocarina of Hyrule are... Vergil thought. Vergil proceeded to look through the database looking for information about these subjects.

There seemed to be minimal information on the time stones; it appeared that they originated from a moon of Mobius known as "Little Planet", and caused said moon to remain untouched by time. How they supposedly did this was- apparently- unknown.

Searching for "Ocarina" and "Hyrule" brings up far more fruitful results then any of the previous searches, going into much greater detail- it seemed that at least someone was contributing to the digital libraries of Nexus City. The ocarina referred to was apparently a treasure of the Hyrulian Royal Family called the "Ocarina of Time". It was apparently used to seal away several important locations within the great ancient temples of Hyrule built by the Seven Wisemen in order to prevent the Triforce- the essence of the Hylian gods- from falling into the hands of evil. It was eventually used to break the very seal it created, some accounts stating that a lad had done this out of naivety, others saying that Ganon- the same self-proclaimed Divine Emperor of the Eclipse Legion- used it in an attempt to reacquire the Triforce. All accounts stated that it was also used to battle against Majora, an apocalyptic demon which tried to destroy the planet upon which Hyrule was founded by crashing the moon into a city known as Terminia; however, it seems that there is a good bit of dispute as to whether Majora was destroyed before or after the ocarina was used to break the Triforce's seal. In looking for its whereabouts, it seemed that there was little to no doubt that the ocarina was currently in the possession of the Vanguard Lieutenant, Link of Hyrule, who possessed one of the three pieces of the aforementioned Triforce, and did battle with both of the formerly mentioned demons.

A musical intrument used to seal away a great demon? Makes sense considering where I were and who were discussing it... Know to find an actual Belmont. Ralph (or Trevor) would be too dangerous and hard; so I'd have to look for Simon. But where should I start? Vergil thought. The only way he'd get more information is by asking questions to peope who might know more than what's stored in the databanks.

Vergil got out of the building he was in and moved to the smaller and darker streets, knowing that the MRoT 'ruled' these alleys. Vergil was confident that the information they held is better than what he got from the more legal media.

The alleyways were undignified to say the least; graffiti lined the walls, broken bottles of liquor layed upon the floor, and a good number of empty bullet shells could be found if anyone cared to look. Broken windows were a common site amongst the smaller shops and houses- most of which were condemned or, and those that weren't couldn't be far from it.
