The air was still and quiet as the former assassin neared his destination. What was his destination? Well he didn't much know or care really. His destination was only that of where Soul Edge commanded him and his master, Zasalamel go. Revenant lost contact with his master, but the presence of the sword's power was for some reason, guiding him here. The power and essence he felt wasn't enough to tell him that the sword was here, though it's always possible. But the energy was enough to tell the skeletal assassin that the sword wanted him here for a reason. Was it to search for someone WITH the sword? Was it to destroy Soul Calibur? Was it to reunite him with Zasalamel? He didn't know and the thoughts about the sword only made his Wave Swords hungrier for the blood. He pushed these thoughts aside as he observed the door, smeared with the blood of the foolish guards that attempted to stop him. They didn't look completely slaughtered, one of them was still breathing as a matter of fact. Just seeing the man alive still gave Revenant proof of the Sword's power being drained. If the sword was drained then so was he....but maybe..just maybe...this place had the answers he seeked. Maybe that was it. Maybe the sword was guiding him, slowly, to the sources of what drained Revenant. Just maybe the answer lied past these several guards, most dead by now, the few alive were close enough to death to not bother with. He stepped inside the sanctuary, eager to know the source of the power this place emmited. (This can be my official "coming back possibly" topic as I might stay here or might not. Rest assured, that whether I stay here AND CRRP at the same time will not cause a problem.) |

Shishio was leaning against the wall, smoking a cigar, when he saw several squadrons of Terran Marines rushing to the fortress entrance as the sirens went off. He had figured that if it had concerned him, he would have received orders to move out already; he was wrong. Grand General Duke was personally leading the marines to the fore as they passed by Shishio, "You there, come with us at once!" Shishio didn't even look Duke in the eyes, "If I'm not mistaken, I'm assigned directly to Lieutenant Wessel-sama's task force, and he reports directly to Grand General Tarkin-sama. I'm quite certain I don't need to explain the rest." "I've heard of you, boy, and let me tell you right here and now that you are not the one in charge here," Duke said, his eyes blazing with fury, "You would do well to learn your place and learn it quick, else I promise you, I will personally oversee your execution. Do I make myself clear, Ensign?" Shishio looked to the Mugenjin, then the the Grand General before him. He noted that, despite the man being well past his prime, Duke was holding a minigun with a single hand, and doing such quite effortlessly. As much as Shishio hated to admit it, he was no match for the superior officer. "My apologies, Duke-sama. Where am I needed?" One minute and twenty-two seconds; whoever survived this would likely regret it; Duke prided his troops as being able to surpass Darth Vader's 501st in both responsiveness and overall effeciency. Taking more than a minute to respond to an emergency within the immediate vicinity was simply unacceptable. However, they did know that Duke wouldn't choke them when they failed... Or so they hoped. "Alright men, our foe lies just beyond this door," Duke informed them, remaining entirely focused on the task at hand, "I want everyone to open fire the moment you see light beyond the door! I don't want so much as a fly to be able to make it through alive, do I make myself clear?!" "SIR, YES SIR!" the marines shouted in perfect unison as they all took aim. |

Sword that Smites Evil

Things were simple enough, if not for the fact that there was a young girl outsid the door, unlike the batalion of the terran dominion, there was an ominous sign that this girl was already there before general duke, his troops, and shishio all together, she was in her Helldam, a vehicle that was known as a powerful death mobile in her domain. the girl was somewhat startled when general duke's soldiers shouted in unison. She hoped out of the RX-66 and floated over to the top of the wall. "Could you please, for the love of beer and explosions, KEEP IT DOWN! I'm trying to keep a watch over my Prinnies!" the girl said in mock outrage, which also startled all of her Prinnies so much that they rushed to the wall, piled up on top of each other forming a prinny pillar that reached up to where this girl was, one of them hoped off the top pf the pillar, went over to her, and shouted at the top of it's prinny lungs. "DOOD!", the girl then picked up the prinny and hurled it at a big rock a few feet away from G. General duke. The result was complete mayhem, not only did the prinny hit the big rock, it exploded with the force of a bomb, blowing the prinny, and the aforementioned rock, to oblivion. "If there is anything I hate, it's being disturbed by a bunch of soldiers." she said with very little remource for the exploding penguin she terminated, eyes of red fury sending severe chills down the spines of the terran soldiers that were transfixed and reflected in them. |

"The Oracle should learn some manner's, espisally when a Grand General is leading the very soldiers she just attacked." Jack happened to walking trowds the heavy guard door was watching the whole incident, curious why such a large force was there in the first place. The show was an plus and quite hilarious, however he could tell the Grand General Duke wasn't enjoying at all. "It must be real serious to have Grand General Duke here, I take it you have it under control, however if I can help in anyway just feel free to ask." Jack wasn't ready to start crossing anyone that out ranked him of all people Duke, he didn't need rumors to know what he like or what he can do in his . Jack also know the situation a little more he felt a powerful presence by the door. Someone or thing was attacking the base. Who or what ....and why. |

the girl was irate. "Only when Moblins grow wings and fly, is when I show manners to a lesser." she uttered, every cylable was directed at JoB. "Besides, even if you want to try attacking me, I've foretold the fates of all beings, and people like me only listen to those of our own kind." She then turned on her heel, floated off the battlements, and snaped her fingers. four more RX-66 Helldam droped from above as though they fell from something that was invisible to the naked eye, then the invisible ship revealed itself, this ship was armed, though none of the weapons systems were active at the moment, it landed on the opposite side of the wall ans hummed to a stop. |

"Ensign Jack; good to see someone here knows proper protocol," the Grand General stated, then gestured to the other two ensigns that were in the room, "Just keep an eye on these two and make sure they don't try to kill any of our own men; or each other. After this is over, I may need your help in escorting them to the brig." |

Only mere seconds after the Grand General spoke did a noise erupt from inside the base. The screams of a younger guard were heard for several seconds. Accompanying the screams of the guard were also the noises of sword and flesh. Anyone who knew anything about swords could tell that this guard was being hacked at. The poor guard kept screaming, despite the hacking getting louder and louder. Finally, it just stopped. Not only did the hacking but the guard's screaming stopped altogether. A few moments of ghostly silence passed as the whereabouts of the young guard were now unknown. Then, as if out of nowhere, another noise erupted from within the building. This time the noise sounded like a mix of a ghost's howl and a slight bit of a bull's roar. The noise lasted about 3 seconds. Then the door flew open and the whereabouts of the young guard were now known. As the door flew open, blood was what instantly left the building. A fountain of it, to be exact. The guard's corpse soon followed as it smashed into the ground somewhat near Jack and the General's feet. The corpse didn't really look like a corpse anymore. It looked more like half of a bag torn open. The man's body was cut open completely, blood still escaping through the torn stomach and various other areas. There was no head on this man, the area where it should have been was simply the neck area. The feet of this man were still twitching as blood escaped from an open wound on the lower left leg of the guard. It was brutal to anyone not used to murder, however it shouldn't be that disturbing to anyone present but the Terran Soldiers who haven't seen war. In the room where the corpse was thrown from stood a lone skeletal figure, wielding two blood-stained Wave swords. The skeleton turned around to the group, giving only a growl at the Terran Soldiers. However, the skeletal figure did not raise his sword to the present party. He showed no signs of Vigilante Attitude, though his reasons were still questionable as the figure had just killed a patrol and mutilated a guard in front of the present company. |

"Looks like my superior officer might be careful, very well Duke. I'll work for you this time, but if you want to verbally berate me later, come to my room when this is done." Pram said as some of her Prinnies took the corpse out of the immediate area, and the rest pulled out bombs, small knives, and dead fish while pram set one of her Helldam's arms to load tranquilizer rounds. Pram then hoped out of the white helldam made by one of her technisions with normal technology experiance, and began examining the revenant at every angle while her Prinnies cautiously inched closer. One of the braver prinnies shouted at the top of it's lungs, "DOOD!!" and charged, the others stayed put as they did not want to attack unless given the order by either Pram or GG Duke. [Revenant, you are free to slaughter any exploding penguins that attack you BTW, made this post easier to manage, and hopefully you are happy with what you and Iroh read.] |

"A skeleton?" Our science team has never had the chance to observe anything like this... he could be more useful to us alive, Duke was taken aback by his foe, and recounted his previous order before addressing the revenant, "Hold your fire men! You... Why are you tresspassing here! How did you find this place!" All the while, Duke kept his gun trained on the intruder's forehead, ready to fire at a moment's notice if need be. |

Oh the thoughts that entered the skeletal assassin's mind right now. The thought of the marines and their commander being butchered and torn to pieces. The thought of that annoying little girl and her penguin followers being eaten and devoured be soul edge. All of it could only excite the skeleton to cause harm to the many staring down at him. But Revenant wasn't a moronic fool. After all, you don't get the title of assassin for being a moron who runs into a place only to kill all those you find. You have to be smarter about it. Revenant knew this lesson all to well from his first death experience with his new master Zasalamell. Removing the evil thoughts and the past from his mind, Revenant stared down at the many observing him now. He was about to lunge at the commander for an attempt at killing the morale booster of the group. Just as he lifted himself off the group, the commander asked his men to hold his fire. It was all Revenant could do to simply stop his wave swords. He stood in front of the commander and his men. It was more then obvious that the creature possessed no ability to talk as any normal creature or human would have made some sort of communication by now. |
