As Julian finished his remark about the Sith, Vader clenched his fist together, and felt anger rising in the back of his throat. He took a slight step forward, but then realized that it was best to keep his anger under control at the moment. "I would not expect you to fully understand the ways of the Sith, my obese friend. But you should know that there are certain loyalties...", Vader then paused for a moment and reminisced of the secret apprentice he spent years training, in secrecy from all others, even from the Emperor himself, who he had planned to overthrow. He then envisioned the tremendous power he could obtain in this Macroverse. Although his powers had been stripped down to levels that he was ashamed of, he knew that he would be able to by-pass all restrictions he had in his previous Galaxy. Vader quickly blotted out the visions of grandeur and got back to what he was saying ,"...To which we are attached to till the death. But the attachments which stand in the way of our gaining power, are a different matter altogether. And I can assure you... this Legion is in no form or fashion... standing in my way." |

The eye rolled back open as Julian tapped the glass, an eye far bigger than the man's head. All four of the Beserker Knights began to snarl, and took a step forward... And then stepped back against the wall, as they silenced themselves, the acknowledgement of some unheard command. A few moments, and then the warlord felt a buzzing in his ear, one that grew louder and more persistant for several moments, and within a minute grew to near intolerable levels... But swiftly returned to silence. The link was established, for obviously this man had heard from another creature's reciever and did not understand what had been said... A plus factor was that the special reciever systems were specially designed for the kind of noise they made, to test the innate, uncontrollable minute reactions to the sound to test for defaults in every individual unit. Once established, the smooth monotone spoke up, directly to Julian and no one else. Crisp, clear, in his native tounge... If not for that dreadful lack of all emotions, one might have thought an actual person was speaking. <Watch your tounge, human. Making accusations based upon mere examples is one of the swifter ways to death that exist. And watch your actions, as well. Using one's own slavery technology to punish criminals... I'll be damned if I allow it.> There was no indication to anyone else that anything had been said to Julian, the words were too soft to be heard by one standing right beside, even if they were ear to ear, and since the Mother Brain was more or less immobile, there was not even a physical indication on her part that Julian had been singled out. The words said, another line of speech was opened, this one free and heard by all present. <I veto Julian Robotnik's movement for the primary reasoning that whatever technology he uses to transform organic matter into mechanical matter is likely damaged by the Macroverse formation like various other technologies, battle styles, and magics we are all fond of. Who's to say that whatever bugs it might have had before have not been made more present, or that new ones alltogether have appeared? That is of course assuming that it works at all.> <I believe now that we have firmly established that something highly unpleasent will happen to those who commit treason or other such crimes, so perhaps if we could move on to another matter?> |

Petey spoke out again. "Petey is sorry Mr. Smart Brain...or Mommy...whatever you call yourself. But Petey wants to stop learning things now...Petey is certain the other guys here need to get used to not only the rules set here and what-not but also the Big Universe...or Macaroni Verse..Macroverse....as well. " He turned around for a brief moment before making some random gurgling noises to himself for a few seconds. Then he turned back to the brain as if nothing had happened. "Petey thinks that we should take a break for now...but Petey will stay if everyone disagrees with Petey." |

Octavius looked amused at the situation, but otherwise kept his feelings and motives guarded. His tentacles snaked around him like ferocious beasts, mere hints of the savage mind that lay within Otto's unassuming frame. "I will volunteer to assist Julian in repair and development of his technology, should it have ceased to function correctly," Otto finally spoke up. "I'm always interested in researching new scientific breakthroughs. The idea of such a machine sounds... fascinating." Something dark entered his voice, but its meaning was unreadable. His eyes lurked behind the dark lenses that perched elegantly in front of them. Octavius's tentacles writhed around him, menacing red light seeping from their 'heads'. "As for this motion for a brief intermission, I personally could continue this meeting for much longer without interruption. But, if so many of those present feel that a recess is in order, who am I to argue?" |

For a moment, the mass of Julian paused, a gloved hand grasping the back of a metal chair. Cautiously, he pivoted, resting himself upon the seat and pushing himself inward to the table, knocking a few bits of cake off course from the blue-haired man's fork. He stretched a hand outward towards the steel-appendaged scientist, warmly replying, "My regards to you, Professor Octavius. As much as I would enjoy your company, only I and the previous Minister of Science from my planet have seen the schematics. Even so," he spoke, his gaze diverting to the imprisoned AI, "I believe that it is in working condition. That is, if a supercomputer can manage to have transferred here relatively unscathed, a simple machine as mine..." He chuckled to himself before continuing, "Well, I'll let you witness this." The outstretched arm, glinting in what light shone upon it, suddenly transformed itself. The hand pulled itself within the arm, and shortly thereafter a small object burst forth, landing upon the floor with a cold thud. The projected object startingly moved, lifting its metallic body to polished feet. Its form was quickly deduced- A small land squirrel, apparently from Earth or something like it. A purely mechanical chitter emitted from its mouth as it dashed about the room, snatched a bit of food scraps from underneath the table, and acted generally as a normal creature of its species should have. "I truly despise abusing my Roboticizer," Julian digressed, a tone of stress in his voice, "But in both keeping a body functional and for controlling the mind...it still performs to phenomenal expectancy." |

The Overlord watched as the glutton talked to the fellow members of the legion. The Overlord did not trust this man. maybe it was because he reminded him of Melvin Underbelly, his old deceased friend that succumbed to his own obesity, as well as to the Overlord's sword. May he rest in pieces. or maybe it was way this new man talked. but something about him unsettled the Overlord. Then he mention his Roboticizer. The Overlord looked over at Gnarl, and saw that both of them had the same idea: the ability to take one's free will must not be used. "I second Mother Brain's veto for Julian Robotnik's machine on the basis that this machine, if in the wrong hands, could be used to take over the minds of our own generals, and would scare off any supporter we have." |

"Mind control? Mind control is something that only the weak-minded should fear. I have broken free of mind control once before, and the mind control I broke out of was created by a supposed 'genius.'" |

Life is a painful existence. Let me stop your hurt.

Legato's fork clanked on the plate as the fat man sank into his seat, jostling the table so due to his girth. It cake which was standing upright now lay upon its side, and the fruit that sat so loosely on top of it were hurled upon the table. As if nothing had happened, Legato simply continued eating, not bothering to upright that which was over turned, nor even attempt to salvage the sweet strawberries strewn about the table's surface. Legato then noticed something... it was the squirrel. Legato changed his eyes' focus from his cake to piercing the hateful eyes of Julian. "I must... reject your idea as well," Legato voiced, "Perhaps a more... final... way can be made. For one who's nature permits him to betray an ally on a small level, has just the same capacity to do it again. A traitor can never be trusted; simply take from them what is ours, and expel them from the Legion," Legato, now smiling, continued, "...or put them to death." Though the room was filled with the most malevolent malefactors, Legato's proposition of death to the traitors stirred the most unsettling feeling inside them. There was something about Legato that made what he uttered the most unnerving phrase they had heard. From what little they had seen of Legato, they knew at their core that his words were not at all empty; he had just inferred that to cross him is to face a most certain and grim death. Those in the room who were seemingly immune to death even felt the doom that swept across the chamber, and felt the air thicken. Legato had just changed the tone of the meeting in five words. Satisfied with his proposition, he went back to eating; his smile never faded. As his fork swooped down to sever his next morsel, it strayed from the plate to plunge deep into one of the berries left on the table. Bringing it to his mouth, his teeth rent the red mass in two. As he lacerated it in his mouth, a deep red trickle trailed from the corner of his mouth. The sweet fluid made it to the cleft of his chin, before dropping down to stain the cake on his plate. |

A ghostly sword appeared out of nowhere and began chasing the mechanical squirrel without a stop. "Betrayal is on of the worst crimes anyone can imagine. Thus, traitors deserve the most severe punishment, losing life. I agree with Legato..." Vergil said. Vergil was not frightened at the sight of death, as he has faced and beaten many avatars of death, and even has dared enter the Demon World, which bore many resemblance with the Netherworld. Then, Vergil glanced at the squirrel and the phantom sword, and snapped his fingers. The sword now stopped floating around the squirrel and quickly pierced its head, destroying it. |
