"I would think that the General leading our army should be a capable fighter...and yet, it cannot move, and relies on others to guard itself. It also seems to spend all of it's time giving out orders it cannot fulfill on it's own." |

"Precisely. A general must lead its troops by example. If this brain were to lead its troops by example, then the troops would simply stand still like sandbags." |

Sword that Smites Evil

"Like that would ever happen." A voice said from behind E-123, as Pram had entered, carrying a Squad of 5 Prinny Elite at the door. "It is like what goes on in the Netherworld, People like me seek to Expand, and that is not a laughing matter when you have to take it through brute force." Pram's eyes were lit with a fire that was not seen by anyone, even by MB, who she just floated past without a care in the world. |

Omega turned his head to watch Pram as she went by. He couldn't help but wonder how efficient a squad of penguins might be. ...Penguins? A squad of penguins? "Are you saying that you would make a better leader for the Legion's army than the large tissue mass?" |

"I too doubt the Mother Brain's abillity to lead. Not because of it's defeats, but rather because i have not it in comand in battle." said the Overlord "I believe the best way to figure who the 'Master of War' should be with a battle with our soldiers. A scrimmage, if you wish." The Overlord waited for a reply. he also had to move over slightly, as sense the dragon entered, the room had become cramped. [@edit: dang it...] |

Omega nodded his head - or, really, his entire body, due to his lack of neck - at what the Overlord had suggested. "I concur. That seems to be a most logical way to ascertain who would be a suitable choice for General." |

Ganon nods. "Sounds reasonable. At the end of the meeting, we'll hold a scrimmage for the 'Master of War'. If we all agree on that then let's move on." |

Soha spoke up again. "I am curious to know. Will such a battle of will and leadership be held in One on One duels or will we all be using our soldiers to fight in battle in one big arena?" Edit: Crap! Edited by Petey Piranha, Jan 28 2008, 05:34 PM.

"Most likely one on one. It would be better to see how the combatants handle themselves in a battle before they handle others in a battle." |

Life is a painful existence. Let me stop your hurt.

The dull clanking of metal upon a piece of ceramic was the only sound that could be heard to herald in the chain of chuckles that grew increasingly louder. Legato's lips were fully spread across his face, as though he were on the verge of breaking out into hysterical laughter. His golden eyes remained stern, partially covered by his hair. The chuckles remained just that, chuckles, but they soon trailed off to the audibility of murmurs. He turned to Ganon, and looked him directly in the eye. Without moving his lips Ganon could hear his voice, saying, "Listen: I don't agree with pathetic small scale battles deciding who is the best leader. All that will prove is who is the most savage brute of a fighter. The one selected for that should be a commander of vast numbers. He himself need no fighting abilities of his own. Perhaps if you were to mandate a one hour break which we could upload our experience into data, the computer could generate a list of those most suited for each task. The computers are advanced enough to at least populate a list. I tell you this for you merely to consider. What happens to the legion is under your control, and I'd have no part in saying otherwise. Just look around you at what you have at your disposal. If you're any more intelligent than half of these cretins, then I'm sure the choice... is obvious." At the end of his message, he looked away and faced toward the commotion near him. Without vacating his seat, he began, "Perhaps we could solve who belongs in what position in a different manner. What would you say to allowing the computer to compile a list of those that are most skilled in each area? It may just be worth the hour or so that it would take, hmmm?" |
