Appearance:
Patrick is on the taller side, and stands at about 6 foot. He is on the thinner side for his height though he does not look sickly or lanky by any means. Patrick has never considered himself a handsome man and all but a select few would agree with him. He is certainly no dashing, muscular, manly hero.
He has a triangular shaped face that is well proportioned. His nose is a little big in his opinion though many would argue that it the right size for his face. He keeps his hair loose and jests that he fancies himself the next Beethoven so he will never wear a wig. His hair is kept at no longer than five inches and is a nice light brown or auburn color depending on the season. Patrick knows he would never be able to stand a beard and after a rather itchy experience with a magnificent pair of sideburns he keeps his face clean shaven for the most part. He cold not bear to get rid of his sideburns completely so he has allowed a little of them to remain along the side of his face. It looks nicer than it sounds.
Patrick cares a good deal about his appearance. He is never seen without a nice morning or tail coat on. Generally he wears Oxford Bags and is in the latest and best fashion. When he goes out he normally wears a hat of some sort.
Personality:
Patrick is a good man; he works hard at what he does and cares for people deeply. He hates injustice and cruelty. He also enjoys the finer things in life. These behaviors have led to him being descried as both a bleeding heart and sissy. He pays no attention to these petty words though and goes about his life just has he always has. He makes a point to go to the theater whenever he can and loves to buy himself new sheet music to play on his piano. He dresses fine and avoids dirt and muck like the devil. He hates to soil his fine clothes with stains such as that.
Patrick has a big heart and is willing to take in almost anyone who needs a place to stay for the night. He is not a shy man but he does not have many close friends. He takes his work serious and it takes up a good amount of his time. While Patrick is a friendly man he is not an easy going man. In his mind one must always be proper and gentlemanly. Rarely does he joke or act silly, on the rare occasions he does act silly it is not usually his intention however. Coming from a rather well off family means that Patrick was instilled with manners. He often forgets that everyone has the same strict code of conduct he does and is known to remind people of things they shouldn’t be doing. When it comes to romance Patty is more clueless than romantic though he is rather sweet towards women.
Background:
Patrick had a happy childhood and a rather easy life at that. His parents are rather well off because his father was a wealthy stock trader. This meant that Patrick never had to do actual physical work as a child or teenager, instead he was expected to do nothing more than study. And study he did. He had an easy time in school and learned to read before most of his classmates though math was considerably tougher for him.
At around age seven Patrick was introduced to the piano by his mother. He picked it up rather quickly and enjoyed it. He would practice for hours learning to play the newest music. He would even spend all his money to buy himself the latest music. His love of piano reached a point to where he would no longer read or study for school. He informed his parents that he was going to be on composer and that he would not need to learn things like that. It took his parents a long time to convince him to get back to his school work and an even longer time to convince him to pick a different career.
He never did though. He studied at the University of Berlin and graduated though he was not top of the class by any means. He faced a little difficulty getting started in his career as a freelance classical composer and ended up having to take in jobs such as piano teacher. Eventually he did have his big break and is now a rather wealthy composer and piano player. Some of his money did come from his father after both his parents where killed in an automobile accident.
