Discuss options of a "Home base" (I will edit this post so the list is up to date)

Home base possibilities:

North High
South High
Blue Harbor

Menards was another place that was brought to my attention. They have all the resources we'd need for barricades, shields and weapons. The structure is made of concrete and steel, and would last for a very long time.
Do not ask which creature screams in the night,
Do not question who waits for you in the shadow.
It is my cry that wakes you in the night,
And my body that crouches in the shadow.
I am Tzeench and you are the puppet
That dances to my tune.

Yes but it would be much safer to have to climb to get to our base. Like destroying the staircases. Blue Harbor would be great because of this. Also its location ensures that we can make a water escape if need be.

yea, the only problem i have with that, is our supplies. If we hole up in Blue harbor, Yes we will be able to make a water escape, but we'll be leaving with damn near nothing. Not only that, but Blue Harbor is a HUGE facility with hundreds of windows that can be used as entry ways. The number of holes in the structure are innumerable, and i don't feel comfortable with a position like that, and I don't like being boxed in as Blue Harbor is. If we take somewhere like menards, then we can barricade it quite well. One of my friends, an employee there, says that you can stack up the cinder blocks they have, and it's impossible to move them. So what we lack in altitude, we make up for in solidity. Also, Menards is a solid concrete with few doors and windows.

I'll check out how sturdy it is the next time I'm there. Do you know how easy it is to get to the roof?

group of like 10 people could probalby take over the little pennunsiula that blue harbor is on. We could use alot of the bulidings as secondary bases. Plus the river and lake are a renewable resource of water and food.
