Kinda makes sense if you use it for cosplay. But I personally I find it kind of awkward when people wear it casually or as a fashion statement. Like... it's like "Hey dude" *see headband on some part of the body* "Oh... uhm.. yeah.. later!"
Stuff like that would only be appropriate for cosplay and that's Keo's law.

Keo's law states that you must have a strap-on to wear a naruto-headband

I own Itachi's headband. I must say in high school i would wear the thing every Thursday in Anime club, but no longer am i in high school (thank god for that!) However I NEVER wore it on my head...lol it looks just dorky on me. Let the anime wear it on their head it looks less dorky for some reason. oh...But i basically tied it around my neck loosely or wore it around my waist (when i was really feeling lucky lol) I also own a pair of Sand ninja fake leather gloves, that conveniently also do not fit with the rebel konoha headband i have lol. No worries i never wear them together. xD. Sadly I find no purpose of wearing either anymore. I don't know that i will cosplay as a ninja if i get the chance to cosplay at all, but they are keepsakes that have followed me from Los angeles to Stockton. I find it hard to detach from them. lol.
