We seem to have avoided an overpopulation of villains, so hurrah! Remember that we don't have character limits so you can create to your heart's content as long as you maintain them! And before you skip along your merry way to make a villain, remember also that they tend to get their butts kicked... Heroes can be unpleasant people too, only they do the right thing eventually...

Alright, let's be honest here, a whole hell of a lot of crap has gone down between the last installment of The Story So Far and this one... and well, frankly, there's too much to recap accurately and with details like our past posts.
So be kind, this is going to be vague at first and then perhaps more detailed.
But hey, at least we've done it.
The Story So Far - Part 4
Students have graduated and things move on. Jules misses Rowan but would hardly say so. Rowan comes back to Yonder for a visit and follows the scent to find Jules in a pet store with a room of four or five kittens. He is considerably touched, and proceeds to make himself known. Jules winds up stealing a shopping cart full of catnip and kitty treats for Rowan, then they stage a fake fight in a liquor store for fun.
It becomes apparent that Jules's cocaine habit has spiralled out of control, as he overdoses infront of Vincent Gates, who takes him to the hospital. Upon waking, he talks to Synthea - who he is still seeing - and his uncle about the incident and resolves to get off drugs.
Vincent speaks to Martin briefly regarding the Dean.
Martin and Rowan visit Jules, they talk a while and Jules is astoundingly honest with them. It's all fluffy.
Synthea, Dmitri and Rowan agree to help Jules take some days to get clean. Jules shoots Dmitri in the foot for yelling about Stalin while he's going through withdrawal. Dmitri is, understandably, in pain and pissed and retreats to a hole in the back yard.
Archie and April finally stop being prats and voice their mutual feelings and begin a relationship.
Synthea breaks up with Jules, and he's all hurty inside.
Lilia Carter arrives at Jules's office looking for a favour for 'that one thing that one time' and, because of the nature of that 'one thing' Jules agrees to help. Lilia needs a job across the road but is the primary suspect in her former partner X-Nova's death. Jules gives her a place to stay for the night. The next day he talks to April, gruff and straightforward because of his recent breakup, and arranges for Lilia to get a job and have protection until her name is cleared.
Jules and Lilia begin to form a friendship.
Felix Jansen meets Lilia and shows her around and makes friends, because he's like that. And he gave her a candy bar.
April suffers a very intense vision and foresees a very huge threat coming to both campuses, she contacts Jules - who had a visitor in the night, a teleporter, leaving a threatening message - and they gather both staffs under one roof to discuss what's going on.
The staff is hit with a ray that turns them all rather dim and somewhat reverted to more childish states of mind.
They all did really, really stupid childish and useless things.
It comes to be understood a group calling themselves The Elite are planning to destroy the schools, the children and the staff. They are old retired heroes restored to youth with amped-up powers thanks to drug useage.
The students find a way to reverse the effects of the ray using a plan Archie had from his former villain days of the actual device used on them, and restore the staff.
The students are ordered to go down into the bunkers under the schools, built during the first World War.
Ellie Nero, mother of Pandora Nero, is called in by Jules because she owes him a favour and, being a trained assassin, will serve well to better their defenses.
Underground, Michael Maracle, father of Martin, grandfather of Rowan, incapacitates students - he has been brainwashed. Martin hears of this and Jules, talking to him about personal things in an unusual show of trust, makes a poor attempt at comfort which is actually taken fairly well.
Ellie is captured by the Elite, Jules goes to retrieve her because they had a fling when they were younger and he ruefully feels some emotional things for her. He rescues her, she acts like a bitch, they argue for a little and then begin to be intimate - Ellie suffers a mental attack and realises her old mentor and teacher is a member of the Elite and he's always wanted to hurt and control her. Jules gets protective and promises to make her safe, then indicates he wants a relationship, she accepts. Then they're intimate.
Rowan and Taja talk a while, alot about how the musty bunkers are screwing with their heads.
Jules goes out on patrol with a student who irritates him so he sends the child back. Dmitri, who's gone over to the Elite side, ambushes him - they fight a little, until Dmitri dislocates Jules's shoulder and knocks him down, at which point he shoves a letter folded more than eight times because Dmitri is that awesome, into Jules's mouth. It details how Dmitri is being a double-agent and how the Elite are supplementing their powers, where the drug stores are, and telling Jules not to fuck it up.
Jules confides this in Lilia and Martin, whom he enlists to go to the warehouse and destroy the drugs with him.
On patrol, Jules runs into his mother, Atara, who is with the Elite and gets into a fight. She kicks the everloving piss out of him, and is about to kill him when Martin swoops in and tseers his ass to safety and medical attention at the hands of Synthea. She cleans him up and saves his life, and they become friends rather than just exes.
Calvin decides to wander around the bunkers, directly against what the adults tell the students, and runs into an Elite. He is wearing an inhibitor band because before the trouble, he went onto the Volkov campus and got into a fight with Tawny. He decides it's smart to try and take down the Elite member. Who has super strength and oozes corrosives. Archie is setting up perimetre sensors and comes across Calvin trying to fight with no powers and intervenes, getting himself hurt mildly but saving Calvin from being beaten to a bloody pulp and incapacitates the Elite member. He scolds Calvin, gives up hope on the boy, and escorts him back to the bunkers.
Archie walks around the bunkers to check on students and look for April to spend some time with her. He hears some fighting and runs to find the source and sees Oswald Delaney, leader of the Elite, and April fighting. She's hacked his legs off with a machete and attempts to teleport to put an inhibitor band on his wrist. Oswald reverses time and inadvertently blips her out of exsistence. Archie is crushed and horrified, punches Oswald and knocks him out, puts the inhibitor on him himself and drags him to Martin. He tells him that April's been killed and withdraws to grieve without alarming students.
Martin stands guard on the door to make sure students leave Archie to himself for a while. Lilia comes to see Archie and they talk a little, Archie was unaware that he needed to talk - he feels horrible and in outrageous pain, because now he's lost two women he's loved. It's rather incredibly sad. Don't read it. But Lilia totally helped him a little, so he's glad she's his friend.
Lilia, Jules and Martin all destroyed the drug store, after taking some to run tests on and things.
The Elite are defeated and the students and staff return to their respective schools.
Jules and Elli elope. Yes. Elope.
Chanda Singh, a new staff arrival for Volkov, is in his office getting moved in and is playing music too loudly. Synthea shows up to tell him to turn it down, he tells her off for being intellectually lordy, and convinces her to leave by using his power on her. He finds her hot though and plans to pursue her.
Elli commits suicide in Jules's bathroom in the tub. Jules doesn't particularly care, because he lost interest.
Jules, deciding to take cocaine again, hits a line and roller skates through the building having a good time. He remembers hiring a new guy and goes to find him, roller skating into Chanda's room and speaking very loudly. They get along quite well, and shoot shards of glass at students, serious buddyness going on.
Chanda pursues and begins the wooing process of Synthea, they begin some form of a relationship - Jules hears and is not impressed. As he still, you know, has feelings for Synthea and is a jealous jealous bastard.
Students do stuff.
Felix and Val hang out and have fried peanut butter sandwiches and stuff.
...Uhm... More stuff happened...
Jules has violent and vivid nightmares and after Dmitri tells him to, he reconciles with Synthea and she agrees to run tests to help him.
Martin is called and is surprised that Jules wants his help, but obviously helps because it's Martin and he's awesome.
Randi Blair arrives at Volkov and meets Freddy Blevins, who gets very grossed out and needs to leave before he has a fit. They don't get along.
Freddy retreats to Synthea's lab where he uses the sink to scald germs off his arms. Synthea considers killing him but his reason for barging in is good enough. She actually likes the boy well enough and enlists him. He hopes to be a lab monkey one day, because he thinks Synthea is the finest teacher there. It's creepy but vaguely hero-worshiptastic and cute. But mostly creepy.
Freddy goes to Millie Fanzo and eventually asks for a skin sample, which is what Synthea wanted him to get her, because she distrusts Millie and wishes to know how to destroy her.
Cosette Renaud shows up on the doorstep of the main building having been dropped off by her grandmother. Her parents are both deceased because of a car accident. She is Dmitri's granddaughter. Dmitri has ten tests run on her to make sure that she actually is related to him and, well, she is, so he welcomes her in.
Jules doesn't like Cosette because of turf-invasion, horning in on his uncle's affections and other childish things. One night they're both out walking the halls and run into one another. She's had a nightmare. He has a soft spot for kids who have nightmares because he has nightmares and has had nightmares all his life. He actually gives her a shot and finds her not entirely unbearable.
MIRROR MIRROR
Because of reasons hitherto unexplained, people from this universe swapped with people from an alternative one, where everything is opposite to what this one is. Martin is evil, Jules goes by Julian and is a nice man, Randi is called Mandi and likes pink things and kittens, Synthea is named Jessica, Lilia is a serial-marrying-murdering Ninja-fetish skank assassin. Alot of crap happens - Jules and Randi wind up sleeping together, Jules sleeps with the evil version of Martin, Lilia and Jules go for buying real clothes and a massive breakfast. Julian is confused, meets Ginger and is scared of her, meets Synthea, gets slapped across the face for crying, and is scared of her, then finds Martin and is heartbroken because where he's from he's with Martin and here he's with Graham and has an epiphany that's rather sad. Martin meets Mandi and is spooked. Julian and Mandi run into one another and proceed to hug and cuddle the scares away and then go to his office to watch movies and eat junk food in their pyjamas. Julian meets Cosette and they get along pretty well.
They're trying to resolve this.
