Sub Wolf / Poor Joss
|
It was as they neared the power thrumming lupanar that the wolfess felt her control slipping. It's golden eyes bleeding slightly to the more hazel of their human half. The wolfess actually growled struggling to hold on. Reminding their other half that they weren't alone. If they forced the shift now the human half and all the markings of her weakness would be on display for him, still a somewhat stranger who might take the markings to denote her as anyone's chew toy. The wolfess knew she hated showing the physical flaws that marked her as weak. While she openly displayed her submission, she did not like to openly display mistakes. Joss was struggling with having been out of control for too long. The wolf paused in it's movement towards the house that was theirs. Whining as the human tried to at least take control of her actions. The fight again would take much out of them and the wolf would lose, it always did when they tired each other out. Then the human would be in control again. The wolfess shook her tawny head and pushed on. Refusing to just give in she lead the way through the forest of the lupanar. Cutting across it to get towards their home. The power and magic of the place seemed to fortify her as she once again picked up the pace to cut across it. It was as they exited the ground marked with the packs power that Jocelyn once again tried to push outwards. The wolf growled trying to hold on. Looking over her shoulder at the grey. Moving slower she could see the building through the trees. Home. HOME. Jocelyn thought of it as sanctuary. And yet they were bring a stranger here. That was not good. Jason would not approve. She had to get back to her human form and stop this. No he is good. He fed us. The wolf thought. It was more then any other wolf had ever done for them. Joss warred back to the point that the wolfess dropped to her stomach before they could even make it to the end of the overgrown driveway near the house. A small whine of frustration as Jocelyn fought to be free and the wolfess fought to hold on. It was a never ending war between the too. Slowly, so much slower then The Grey had showed his shifting abilities to be, the tawny fur started to recede as the wolf whined in pain. The pack of clothes dropped from it's Jaw as the wolf fought. Howling as the receded fur grow outwards once more. |

Ulfric // Emi's Beau
|
Roughly an hour had passed since Jason had gotten a call from one of the wolves who had taken to the Lupanar that night for a bit of play. It was really nothing new, to have the urge to shift prematurely especially if tensions were high, among other stress related factors. The election and the two candidates on television more and more for the last leg of the campaign could certainly be attributed to a few Packmates wanting to release some anxiety. Jason had arrived at the Lupanar under different circumstances though. The call he had received said that Jocelyn had shown up earlier but seemed to have been spooked by all the wolves gathered, even on a night when the moon was not full. She had excused herself and rushed off but no one had seen or heard from her since. It prompted Jason to come out and investigate, but not before making a quick stop at the Safe House to see if she was there or not. He might have been worrying more than other Ulfrics that had led the pack in the past, but Jason felt he had a responsibility to the wolves in the troublesome times that they had endured since the previous Ulfric's death. Call him paranoid but he knew how it once felt to be new to everything and Jocelyn was probably more worse off considering the wolves she ran with before. Not to mention she was new to the atmosphere of a large Pack and was completely new to Paris. So, if she needed to shift where had she gone? The Lupanar was the safest for them and yet she had apparently fled. The sound of a canine whine drew Jason attention from where he stood next to his Blazer and was debating whether or not to try and track her scent. Following the sound and leaving behind those wolves who had stayed to greet him, Jason began to walk. Within several feet he came upon the sight of a small tawny wolf on the ground, struggling to revert her shift. The familiary scent touched his nose and Jason knew immediately that it was Jocelyn. "Calm down... just breath and relax." The Ulfric started to crouch down in front of the struggling female when another scent touched his senses. This one foreign and immediately the warnings went off in his head, stirring forth his beast and aura. Jocelyn had found someone. Or someone had found her... |

The large grey wolf had skirted the edge of the lupanar. Every pack had their own beliefs and feelings about the mystical and sacred area where they gathered, and he did not wish to be one to do something that might be unforgivable. He had to run to keep up with her, but on the other end he managed to meet her with little trouble. Glancing back at the area she had trekked through, the wolf turned back towards the tawny wolf as she seemed to struggle for a few heartbeats and then moved on. He followed her until he caught a glimpse of the human building through the forest underbrush. He didn’t know where she was taking him, but she seemed to be a trustworthy wolf, and so he still followed. But the house gave him pause. He didn’t have a set of clothes stashed away like she did, and though he had no problem being naked by himself or around others, but if he was going to meet some of her pack, it just didn’t seem to be polite to show up in his birthday suit. Her howl as she forced herself to remain shifted cut through the air, and the massive wolf started to move towards her, to offer his help in keeping her shifted when the scent of a human…no werewolf, caught his attention. Stopping short of his second step, the big wolf sat on his haunches as the man with dark hair came from the direction of the house. His words of soothing to the tawny wolf indicated that she must be someone he trusted, and he was also a werewolf. Reason would deduce he was part of the same pack she was. He had no desire to try to get involved at that point, observing being the better part of valor in this case. He watched the two intently, remaining silent about twenty feet away. |

Sub Wolf / Poor Joss
|
The wolf's head lifted slightly at the scent of their leader, the Ulfric. It was Joss's eyes that looked up at him from the wolf's face though as she fought for control. A snuff of air coming from the canine's nose as Jason told them to relax and breath. It was the sudden shift of things around her though that pushed Joss back and brought the wolf to the forefront. As Jason's own wolf seemed to brush against her as it awoke and Jason pushed his aura out. The wolf realized that the Ulfric had scented the wolf they had brought with them. It was then that the wolf finally realized that bringing an unfamiliar wolf into their home territory was probably not the best idea at all. But the wolf was just a pup after all. The wolf whined trying to bring the Ulfric's attention back to them. With still unsteady legs it got up and moved back towards the larg grey wolf. It nudged it's head against the grey's side as if to indicate that the Grey Wolf was a friend and see, wasn't attacking or hurting her. Joss tried to fight back to the surface, though it was harder with all the wolf energy around them. Luckily the wolf had tired itself out with the trek back as well as fighting Joss for control. Joss forced herself back down onto her stomach crawling towards their ulfric in sublimation. She fought to keep control of the wolf form. Keep it her will and not the wolf's while struggling to maintain the wolf shape. It was not something that she could easily do, or really tried to do at all. But shifting in front of her Ulfric and the strange wolf was also not something she wanted to do. The humiliation of how slow she was, and the display of the markings of weakness on her body is what shied her away from shifting around anyone at all. The wolf breathed heavily as Joss fought from within. She needed to take whatever repricussions there were for bringing a lonewolf back to Pack territory. Though the Wolf had noticed they Grey had been careful not to actually traverse through the Pack's lupanar. LIke her he seemed able to sense the borders of it's magic. The strange wolf was considerably larger than any wolf that Jason had seen before. The scent from the gray wolf told him that he was more than any ordinary wolf which did explain the size in some ways. Still, even shifted the Ulfric knew that his own form was not nearly as large and was just a few inches under the size of a pony. Nonetheless Jason felt the urge to protect his territory in the presence of this stranger and the aura of his beast prickled his flesh with heat. It was the whine from Jocelyn that divided his attention though, glancing toward the young submissive while she stood shakily and moved to this new male. Jason took an involuntary step forward, as it to stop her from moving to the other wolf. However, the large grey seemed stoic as he sat there; calm and unmoving and displayed no signs of aggression. Jason straightened a little, inclining his head to watch as Joss struggled in her wolf form between the two males. Whoever this stranger was, he did not seem to be a threat at least in his current mannerisms. But given Jocelyn's submissive nature, it probably would have been tempting for any strong or aggressively dominant rogue. The almost zen-like patience from the grey seemed to tell him otherwise. Jason drew in a deep breath and soothed his territorial beast. The sound of Joss' struggles bringing the Ulfric to kneel down in front of her. A glance to the grey ahead of him, a look of caution in his eyes, he reached out to Jocelyn once more and placed a hand against the side of her head. Unfortunately he did not possess the ability to calm one's beast, only to draw it out. The knowledge to calm would have been incredibly useful right then in order to soothe her beast. Though, maybe it could still be beneficial to her. With his palm still cupping the side of her wolven head, Jason pushed his aura out to her; the sensation of much like fire ants dancing along his arms and over his body as he focused on calling her beast in hopes to sooth it in another way but halting the shift. Jason hoped that it work that way, though he would have to see. With any luck his instincts regarding the strange wolf would prove accurate and he would not attack or suddenly become aggressive. |

Matthew was sorely tempted to shift back to his human form, if just to see the obvious pain the tawny wolf was having in maintaining her wolven form go away. When she pressed up against him, he lowered his head, nudging her gently, trying to comfort her. Then suddenly she had gone back to her belly, crawling towards the dark haired man once more. Once more his head lifted, looking at the pair as he approached her again. Golden eyes narrowed slightly at feeling the dark haired mans aura for a second time, the first was apparently just the hint of a breeze compared to what the wolf felt now. It was like a fire was on the wind, wild and powerful, yet at the same time, the way he wielded that power turned the wildness of it into something controlled and focused. This gave the big grey wolf the knowledge that this man was a rather powerful Alpha, and instinctively he sloughed slightly, not holding himself up as high as he had a moment ago. His ears lowered some as well, not lying completely flat against his head. He stayed sitting however, waiting for whatever play between the tawny and the man to happen. |

The Grey wolves nudge had some how been comforting to both the wolf and the human. As if somehow confirming that bringing him here hadn't been the most ludicrous thing of all. Amber eyes turned to look at him once before planting themselves in front of their Alpha. Her eyes looked up to Jason as he moved to kneel before her. His eyes focused for a moment on the large Grey behind them before turning back towards her. Her eyes lowered once more. Not sure what was to come she was a bit surprised as Jason touched her head. Then she felt his beast, his wolf, his aura pressing into her. Calling the wolf back out from where Joss was trying to keep her. In her little cage. The wolf rushed back to the surface as Jason's power rush gave it a second wind. Joss's eyes in the wolf's face went wide before bleeding back into the more amber gold of the wolf then the muddied hazel of Joss. Joss knew there would be retribution for bringing another here but being pushed away had not registered as an idea for punishment. The wolfess turned it's head still within Jason's grasp. Licking at his wrist in gratitude. Feeling strong enough to resist the urge and need of the human to regain control. The wolf turned it's head to look back at the Grey. Stepping back from between the two more dominant she stood between them, but off to the side. Looking back and forth. Not sure what would happen next. |

Maybe Jason's intentions had not gone according to plan. It would have been much more beneficial if he could have gotten her to shift the other way or given her the chance to regather herself. As Ulfric though, Jason had only been at the job for two months and felt as if he had barely been holding everything together. Even now he was struggling to help out Jocelyn; the thought alone forcing a sigh from his lips while she stood. He had to handle another issue as well though. Of course he could not help but wonder how in the world Jocelyn had managed to come across this wolf. It did not seem that he had harmed her in any way and now it appeared that he had lowered himself further as if to relent to Jason? Whatever it was, it further soothed his beast. Pushing himself up from where he was kneeling, he spared a glance to Joss before his sights and focus were solely placed upon the stranger. He took a step forward before speaking, "Greetings... my name is Jason. If you would be so kind as to shift maybe we might be able to talk a little easier." Even to a lycanthrope, it still felt a little odd to speak to an animal. Jason preferred human to human or wolf to wolf communication, "Since you are in our territory it might be best to introduce yourself." |

Matthew watched the man somehow renew the vigor of the tawny wolf’s bestial side. His eyes met hers when she glanced back at him and then moved a few paces away from the middle. This small act brought his attention back to the dark haired man. Straightening as he approached, the wolf soon rose to his feet, his head right around chest level on the man. “Greetings… my name is Jason. If you would be so kind to shift maybe we might be able to talk a little easier.” Matthew could agree with the reasoning behind that. It wasn’t as comfortable that way, but definitely easier to communicate like two people should. Two steps towards the man and the fur swiftly receded from the large grey wolf. A third step brought the wolf-man upright and the fourth had Matthew looking just like any other person save for the fact he was a bare as the day he was born. That last fact hardly mattered at all. “Since you are in our territory it might be best to introduce yourself.” It took a moment for Matthew to nod agreement as he cleared his throat, working the human vocal chords he had used so sparsely the last few months. Finally golden eyes opened to look up at the man. His right hand extended out towards Jason, and a slight smirk of a smile played on his features. “Pleasure to meet you Jason. Name’s Matthew, and I’m sorry to intrude on your territory, just been travelling a long way, and happened to meet her out in the forest, and here we are.” |

It was when she met the Grey's eyes that she noticed the chang in his demeanor. The flattened ears and lowered posturing. *Interesting* The wolf thought. How a seemingly dominant wolf would also show signs of submission to Jason. The wolfess watched as the Grey stepped forward. Again the pang of guilt and envy that he could shift so easily while she could not. So quickly he had gone from wolf to man, simply by walking. He appeared to have no pain in his shift, or at least he didn't show it. Was she the only wolf to be winded by the pain of a shift? The wolf thought nothing of the nudity of the man. He was male she was female that was all there was too it. And Joss had receded enough with Jason's coaxing that there was not enough human left in control to worry about manners or what was proper. And so the wolfess merely sat back on her haunches as the two males made introductions. She looked rather like a pup sitting there watching, her tongue once more lolling out of the side of her mouth. The wolfess gave another little yip when Matthew mentioned meeting her. SOmehow knowing he was speaking of her. The ulfric didn't seem terribly mad at her for bringing home another wolf. Though now that she had a second wind she was looking to play and prance again with her new wolf friend. Maybe the Ulfric would join them. |

The request had been a simple one since it really was inconvenient to try and communicate human to animal. Regardless the new wolf was going to comply as Jason watched him rise from where he had been sitting to move toward Jason. The stranger looked to be even larger as he walked; Jason was no shrimp after all and for the wolf's head to be close to his chest was impressive. What was even more impressive was how quickly the man shifted. Little to no effort could be seen, at least to Jason's eyes, as the wolf faded away to shrink back into the man until he was standing there in his human form. So while the wolf form had been definitely larger than Jason, the human was just a little shorter in comparison. Jason waited patiently though for the man to find his voice, catching those amber eyes that denoted what form the stranger might have preferred. The Ulfric had skimmed the eight hour limited several times but never to the point for long term changes. “Pleasure to meet you Jason. Name’s Matthew, and I’m sorry to intrude on your territory, just been travelling a long way, and happened to meet her out in the forest, and here we are.” So now he had a name for the newcomer. Jason glanced toward Jocelyn as Matthew spoke, curious of her reaction and at the same time verify what the man was saying was indeed true. It would have been easier if she had been in human form as well, but the shift was still difficult it seemed and Jason had failed to really help her. Still the reaction he got from her in her puppy-like yips were reassuring that Matt was being honest. "Nice to meet you, Matthew." The offered hand was taken to give a firm shake despite the human-like gesture, "Where from and how long have you been traveling?" While the questions might have been prying, they were needed given that Jason still had to ensure the safety of the Pack. The man seemed trust worthy, but he had to be absolutely sure first. |

Keeping his expression neutral was a bit of a challenge. He never felt as open in the human world as he was in the wolf world. Wolf politics were much easier, though the human side never forgot how to survive. Dropping his hand after the firm handshake, Matthew shifted his eyes towards the tawny wolf, then back to Jason. ”Where from and how long have you been traveling?” Matthew understood perfectly well why the questions needed to be answered, and though Jason may have thought they were prying, they were not questions that Matthew had not been asked before. Every pack or solo werewolf he came across asked him those questions eventually. He was more surprised a comment hadn’t been made about the obvious…deformities. Rather refreshing. Smirking a little, Matthew nodded his head slightly, shifting into a more relaxed posture. “That depends on how far back you want to go. This particular journey has been going on for about three months. As for the where, I was around Vienna before the wanderlust hit. Went west following the Danube, and eventually ended up here.” |

The wolfess cocked her head to the side, tongue still hanging from her mouth, as the large grey wolf man glanced at her before turning back to their Ulfric. Was he waiting for some sign from her that everything was ok? She had already given her stamp of approval. The large grey having been the first wolf to ever share his kill with her, at least while there was still the good stuff left to eat, and had travelled with her and played with her and not tried to attack her or chase her like SHE was the prey. If she could express her pleasure in making friends with him anymore she did not know how. It would have been easier if her human half could have done the talking for them, but as was often the human half didn't understand the needs and pleasures of the wolf half in order to express them properly. Though it seemed that the large grey remembered well enough. The tawny wolf lowered herself down to her stomach as the two males continued to speak. Resting her head on her paws. She knew that if she relaxed too much the human half would make try and struggle her way out. But it seemed the Ulfric had pushed her back enough for now that the wolfess could relax and watch the male alphas. The wolf's eyes moving back and forth like it was watching a tennis match as it watched the exchange. |

“That depends on how far back you want to go. This particular journey has been going on for about three months. As for the where, I was around Vienna before the wanderlust hit. Went west following the Danube, and eventually ended up here.” There was a flicker of surprise in Jason's dark hazel eyes, though he did his best to keep the actual expression off of his face. This man had been wandering for three months? In his wolf form? It was a wonder that Matthew was even able to shift back at all or had not experienced more lasting changes than his eyes and possibly teeth. Jason had never pushed himself beyond eight hours, though it was not that he did not enjoy the freedom of his other half, there was a part of him that wanted to still resemble a human. "Quite a journey." There was no denying that, "Is there any particular reason to travel all that way... no job? Home?" The Ulfric needed the full picture before he could afford anymore trust to this stranger. At least the knowledge that Jocelyn had been under the man's 'care' did give him some merit. Perhaps soon enough Joss would be tired enough to revert back to her human form and he could hear her side as well. Jason looked to the young wolf a second time, regarding her in silence for a few seconds before his eyes met Matthew's, "Maybe I should ask if you plan on continuing your journey." |

He shrugged at the larger man’s questions nonchalantly. “My work involves me knowing the terrain as well as I know the back of my own hand, or paw depending how you want to look at it.” The home question was a bit more difficult for Matthew however, and the smirk had left his face almost the second Jason had asked about it. Sighing to himself, this was where most of the werewolves he had come across tried to pity him until he felt so uncomfortable he simply left rather than deal with it. “Home…is a different story. I killed my parents shortly after my first change.” He would make this encounter different though, he usually left it at that, but if was going to stick around to play with the tawny wolfess some more, he would have to keep the rest of her pack at bay somehow. Intimidation seemed a good route. “Not that it was an accident. Well, in a way it was, but in a way it wasn’t. I was young then, both wolf and humanly so. I had killed someone when I lost control, I dunno who, some stranger, and fled from the people that had changed me.” “I had nowhere else to go but home. My parents didn’t care about me really; otherwise I would have never been changed in the first place. They only did what parents do best, make it worse. They paid the price for it though…and since then I’ve been on the move almost constantly.” He shrugged again, the past was the past, and you learned from it and moved on or got lost in it. “Now-a-days when I need work I acquire a set of clothes, offer my services finding some family lost in the woods camping, or just campers that have gone missing. Always someone missing somewhere. I stop by the local precincts as well, find out what preternaturals need taken out because they’ve gone too far, and get rid of them.” He grinned a little at the last part, elongated canines flashing for a minute. Let the man think what he wanted to, Matthew wasn’t going to convince him to think some other way. He recalled all too clearly the first time he killed another lycanthrope, and his first vampire, and even a fae once upon a time. He wasn’t worried about Jason, just as long as he didn’t try to chase him out. |

Sub Wolf / Poor Joss
|
The female's head lifted as her Ulfric looked at her. While the wolf could comprehend the words being spoken, because it had a human half, some human concepts were lost on the more feral nature of it. But the wolfess too was suprised that the Grey had been able to travel for 3 months as wolf. Her human side fought to get back out after only a few hours and even on nights of the full moon the wolfess had to fight to get out. The tawny wolfess's head lifted from off her paws to scrutinize the naked man more. Looking for more sign of the wolf that seemed to be the predominant form of the man. Rather then how the human was her predominant form. The comment about killing his parents made the wolf ears perk up. Memories of their old lil group. The evil dark wolf and his father. What had been done there stirred memories within the wolf and made her look a little differently upon their play companion. The wolf's sudden unease and thoughts wakened their human part from where Jason had pushed her back. Joss emerged into consciousness within the wolf to only hear and process that the man standing before them had been their play companion and he worked when he needed to finding and rescuing those lost. AS well as hunt those that needed hunting. Her brain still muddy from being stuffed back Joss stretched herself within the wolf. The wolf realized that it couldn't fight their human part off again. Knowing it wouldn't be safe and hopefully hoping that the human half would realize her sacrifice and perhaps let her roam out more often when she needed. The wolfess suddenly stood up... no longer going to fight the human part she knew that the human would prefer to make the change away from the males... away from wear they could see the markings of her failures and weaknesses. She backed away from the males going to grab up the small pack of the human's clothes the tawny wolfess moved back towards the denser part of woods. The shifting still wasn't easy. Even though the wolf was giving control back to the human the human still didn't understand how to take the control and emerge back into her form. The pain was there... sure and the whines and panting of the wolf and human could probably be heard by the two alpha males, merely for the sensitive hearing as the submissive wolf fought to make the change off alone by herself. As usual it was a timely process. |

Jason was indeed curious what work it was that the strange wolf did considering the brief explaination given and that Matthew had apparently spent so much time in wolf form. Obviously it was not your typical nine to five, desk jockey work and no doubt this lycanthrope was the outdoorsey type. But it was when Matthew began to explain home that Jason's attention grew. The admittance that he had killed his parents might have been a hard thing for anyone to say, but Matthew seemed to have no problem in sharing, at least it seemed. For the sake of making sure that he was not a threat to the Pack though, Jason listened very carefully to what the smaller male had to say. It was a silent study of words as the history of his first human kill was shared and the chain of events that led to his own parents demise. While it was a tragic thing, Jason felt somewhat indifferent to the story and emotionally detached considering that he had lost his own parents at the age of three. In some ways he still quietly struggled with that aspect of his life and what he had missed out while being shuffled from one foster home after another. It seemed that Matthew was at peace with the events of his past and Jason simply nodded while the man continued. The work sounded honest enough, reminding Jason of a ranger more than anything; though it was the added detail that he hunted preternaturals if they got out of hand reminded the Ulfric more of a bounty hunter or an executioner. He doubted that Matthew was licensed though. The flash of fangs at the end seemed to solidify that belief, "I see. Well, I am no one to judge you for your past. All I care about is your intentions here and now." Jason's instincts lead him to believe that Matthew was telling the truth. Maybe it was the fact that Matt had many more animal characteristics than human. The human element was always the most corrupted part after all. Jason watched as Joss' small wolf form rose and headed off into the shadows of the forest. He worried for the young woman and even more so when he heard the struggles of her shift a second time, "What are your intentions?" Jason asked once more while his attention was focused on the shadows that Jocelyn hid in. |

”What are your intentions?” Matthew shrugged a little, not really having any intentions per se. He turned partially towards the direction the tawny wolf had gone, wincing slightly at the sounds of her shifting back. It had never been like that for him, but then he had wanted to be changed. Teenage stupidity. He didn’t regret the decision, but had he not been in the situation he had, life might be a whole lot different now. Matthew turned back toward Jason, understanding in his wolven eyes. He wasn’t sure what the man was to the tawny wolfess, but there was obvious some caring there and he knew they were part of the same pack. They smelled similar after all, distinct, yet similar. “Well, I hadn’t really thought about it. I didn’t expect to run into her or anyone else, and here I am confronted by not one but two pack werewolves.” Matthew glanced towards the ground, eyes shifting slightly as he considered the possibility of somehow belonging to another pack. So far neither of the other wolves had shown any inclination to try to run him off as some errant rogue. “…but…maybe if you two are willing. I wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience. I pull my own weight. Maybe if we got to know one another a bit…and the rest of the pack didn’t object, I could stay for awhile at least?” |

Sub Wolf / Poor Joss
|
Slowly and painfully the tawny fur receded back into the skin of the petite blonde. A growl of pain as her bones felt as if they were breaking and reknitting together. Once pawed hands, now human again, digging into the ground as the human emerged back from the wolf. Finally when the shift was complete and the pain had subsided, the exhaustion set in. Joss gave into it for a moment, laying out on the cool leaves and grass of the forest floor in all her naked glory as she tried to catch her wind. Shaky hands reached for the small pack with her clothes haphazardly stuffed inside it. Still laying out she undid the tie that held it closed and weakly tugged to open it. In the time since she had shoved her clothes into it they had of course gotten wrinkled. The long sleeved tshirt was pulled out and dragged over her head, even as she continued to lay on the ground. Her jeans soon followed, to exhausted to struggle with her underthings she left them in the pack and tied it back up. She moved to lay on her back lifting her hips to pull her jeans up the rest of the way as she struggled to reconcile what she remembered of her time as the wolf. The pain subsiding she began rembering, more so of the struggle with the wolf and what she had been trying to protect. The other wolf... the Enormous grey... she had brought him here. Suddenly fearful she sprung up from the forest floor, moving as quickly as her exhausted limbs could carry her back towards the spot she had left the two dominant males. Hearing no fighting as she neared she drew up short to listen. Hearing the unfamiliar voice asking if he could stay with the pack. her heart fluttered for reasons not quite known as she was eager to hear Jason's response. She moved slightly within the woods to better see the pair as she awaited Jason's decision. Her eyes however were rivited to the sight of the Grey's, Matt she suddenly remembered hearing vaguely his name, naked form. It was not unusual or unnatural for werewolves to go about unclothed, and Jocelyn should not be staring so but she could not help it. She was a heterosexual, single female it would be a crime not to admire his form. Better to do it now when she wasn't in his immediate line of sight. So long as he didn't turn to the side to see her leaning around a tree and staring. |

Ulfric // Emi's Beau
|
Maybe there was a small comfort in how Matthew reacted to the sounds of Jocelyn's struggles nearby. The small wince from the man was not a sign of aggression or arrogance that Jason would have found suspicious or heartless. The simplest gesture giving the Ulfric more information than even Matt might have realized. Though the shrug in response to his question about the new wolf's intention was only a minor thing. Given the fact that the man seemed practically nomadic it really was not surprising if he did not have a set goal in mind. Jason attention remained divided between Matthew and Jocelyn until he finally heard the soft whines and grunts from the younger wolfess subside. At least she would be back in her human form and it would be easier for the three of them to communicate. But now his focus was set on Matthew as the man began to speak once more, elaborating further on his shrug, “…but…maybe if you two are willing. I wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience. I pull my own weight. Maybe if we got to know one another a bit…and the rest of the pack didn’t object, I could stay for awhile at least?” "I think that maybe I could allow it." It did ultimately come down to Jason's choice and the dark haired man could already see a purpose for the man before him, "I think there would most definitely be a place for you in the Pack... if you choose to stick around for a bit." Jason's eyes diverted toward the nearby trees, "I don't think Jocelyn would be opposed... would you, Joss?" It had been a few minutes since her shift had ended, surely she would be ready to emerge again. |
