Wereswans are most commonly the result of a curse or a heredity gene. They are the only non-predator form of shape shifter, and risk being victimized as prey by the other species Female swans are referred to as swanmanes (or swan maidens) Their leader is called a Swan King - marked by a birthmark in the shape of a swan. A king is rare and hard to come by, as it is a birthing right only. A swan queen is usually born around the same time. A swan leader who has not been birthed into the position (takes it by force) is called a Swan Prince or Princess. SWAN HIERARCHY Swan King:: The rightful leader of the Swans. Comes along very rarely. Swan Queen: Reyna Marali The rightful leader & partner to a swan king. Comes along very rarely. Swan Prince or Princess: One who takes the position by force, has no birthing right to the position. Current Wedge: 4 NPC Swans.
