Vampires Paris, France. The city of Romance and red wine. The home of the Vampire Council. Or at least it was. The remaining 6 members of the Vampire council have all mysteriously disappeared, and no one knows where or why they went. Some say the Mother of all Darkness has returned, and killed the old members. Others say the Harlequin have decided to create their own council. Some even say that the council have hidden from the outside world because a deeper darker threat than the mother herself. Truth is, no one really knows. In the chaos, it was decided that a new council should be formed to try and form the organized world that they must had. Many master vampires have considered being part of the new council, but very few have stepped up to the plate, out of fear from dying, due to personal problems with their territories, or the fear that the old council may return. Many vampires have flocked to Paris with the disappearance of the council, in the hopes of starting a new life. Some want to ally themselves with the next up and coming master. Some wish to discover their own powers and try for a position themselves. Some wish to be under the safety of a new council. And some, some wish to see the council destroyed forever. Who's side are you on? Current Council Members: Masaru Isadora Sage Nova Valentin Vasilios Shiina Lycanthropes The disappearance of the council was a small victory on the lycanthrope community. The horrible vampire masters of the past had gone, possibly forever. The way of the Parisian lycanthropes has always been to look after your own kind first, and the other types later. However, with the threat of a new council looms just around the corner can they continue to live like they currently do? Groups: Hyenas Swans Cobras Fox Lions Wolves Jaguars Leopards Rats Tigers Cougars Executioners, Magic users, Physics, Necromancers, Human Servants & Others For the executioners of Paris, the disappearance of the council has been a nightmare. Newly created and master vampires are running amok, killing humans and lycanthropes alike. At times, it feels overwhelming. Without a council to answer to, the executioners have been able to get licenses for nearly every vampire that has done, or is suspected to have done a bad deed. The number of executioner deaths has been high as well – the number of unwarranted vampire attacks is high. Human servants have also felt the pressure of the vampire councils disappearance. Some masters have also gone into hiding, some have tried to build a strong power base as quickly as possible. Some masters have even ordered their servants out to kill opposing vampires whilst they sleep. Its a crazy world out there, and only time will tell how ones master can do. Necromancers and Animators have been put to blame by some for the disappearance of the vampire council. Of course, it is only the most fearful vampires who believe this. Some religious leaders also believe that it is the Necromancers and Animators who have gotten rid of the highest point of all evil. In a strange turn of events, the supposed 'black magic' users have been allowed to visit churches once more, being praised instead of criticized. Nothing much has changed in the way of physics – except that perhaps, some get more terrible visions than ever due to the increased deaths happening everywhere. Some have chosen to work with the newly created 'special' unit of Paris, others have chosen to never go out of their houses again. November 2008 The Presidential elections were held, and now all preternaturals are under constant scrutiny with the new laws in place. Elle Iveriot is coming down hard - everyone known shifter, vampire, or fae must be tagged. Any breaking of the law is punsihable by execution on the spot. No non-human is safe - not even the Vampire Council... Is this the beginning of war? |
