Ahahahaha, Vale was brilliant. A bloody genius; mastermind at finding things to amuse herself and whatever lucky few members of the Ossuary she decided were special enough to involve in her little shenanigans. Or at least, she thought she was brilliant; sometimes those around her didn't seem to agree, for whatever strange reason.. obviously because they were too uptight to enjoy her unique sense of humour. Arun wasn't too uptight; sure, maybe a little stiff, but he still gave the occasional little half smile, proving that he didn't entirely mind her, however much he tried to deny it. Her new pomme de sang was so much fun. Everything about him just amused her so much, she didn't even know why. Joking with him was great too, considering how he didn't get amazingly annoyed (not as if he could do anything about it anyway) but still gave enough of a reaction to make her giggle with glee. Tonight, he was going to go on a Scavenger Hunt - only instead of hunting anything particularly worthwhile, he was merely looking for his belongings! The previous night, she'd taken quite a substantial amount of blood from him, enough to keep him sleeping through practically the entire day, and the remainder of the night. She'd taken that opportunity to, quite craftily, go through every inch and corner of what remained of his clothing (she'd stripped off the shirt, shoes and jacket hours before he'd fallen asleep) for all of his weapons, and his cell phone. She'd then proceeded to take those weapons, phone and clothes for a little walk around the Necropolis. A dagger went into a random vase, a gun just barely poking out from a vent somewhere, shoes hung off of different doorknobs.. doorknobs that were inside select people's rooms, of course. She'd made sure to go around threatening people not to touch certain items from the scavenger hunt, though the better hidden ones were fair game. After all, it wouldn't be fair if it was only Arun looking for everything.. So far, the teams were Arun vs Random servants vs Masaru (we'll get to that soon) vs Vale herself! That was right; she too was going to be picking up objects, but she'd decided to make it a little more fair, considering she already knew where everything was. She could only approach something if somebody told her to go in that direction. Every person she ran into, she asked them which direction she should go in, and assuming their response was actually plausible she obliged. The directions didn't apply to other players (except servants), so Masaru and Arun couldn't tell her to go somewhere. The reason Masaru was playing was simple. If Arun wanted his phone back, which he probably would, he'd have to find the vampire and ask for it. She'd made sure to ask her master to hold onto the item at all times, but to keep his eyes open for a half naked Indian man walking around looking lost. Masaru could only win if he kept the phone. The game had begun once she'd finished hiding the last item (phoney), everything already set for Arun once he woke up. When his eyes fluttered open he'd be greeted by the sight of a platter full of food, something a servant had prepared for him. At the bottom of the platter, underneath some fruit, was a note. It was up to him to find it, otherwise he'd be even more confused about what was going on, and the other teams would have an advantage over Arun (actually having a chance to realize it was a big game, for one). The note was short but to the point. 'It's scavenger hunt time! Don't leave the Necropolis until the game is over; here's hoping I win! ~ Val. PS - find the sad man!' Hopefully he'd find the note. Things would be all the more fun if he did; Vale could only wish that Arun had had a little bit more things with him last night.. ah well. Either way, the hunt was on. |

The Sorrow Eater ~ Vampire Council Member

Masaru had organized a meeting with Isadora that evening – well, not so much a meeting as a dinner which consisted of some rather unlucky human criminals he had happened to run across. They had smelt of blood and sex, and he had rolled them completely before quite easily convincing them to come into the Ossuary, where they would certainly not be leaving. He was in a rather pleasant mood that evening, his plans all going well. For once, there had been no variables, no changes in his plan aside from one. For whatever odd reason, Vale had handed him a mobile phone, telling him to hold onto it at all times and to watch out for a half naked Indian man. The phone had the faint smell of jaguar on it, and feeling rather disgusted with the object, he had placed it in his pocket so that he would not lose it, but would not have to look at it or even touch it until Vale wanted it back. He was not even bothered by her rather random request – he knew she played games with her victims and so he was not concerned. He simply hoped that his and Isadora's evening would not be ruined by such an event. If it did, he would be extremely annoyed. Knowing that he had the company of a council member that evening, he had dressed up extremely well in one of the outfits that Viv had bought for him earlier that day – a rather nice silken dark green shirt complete with black pants and a black tie to match. It was fairly casual in his opinion, however still dressy enough to impress anyone who might run into him that evening. He had also considered the possibility that the evening might not run as smoothly as he wanted it to, and thus he hadn't brought out any extremely expensive outfits, just in case. Unfortunately for Vale and her guest, Masaru had not told them yet that he would most certainly have company. He had also not bothered to tell her not to disturb them. Doing so would make her much more curious about the situation and though he didn't care if she knew or not, he realized that there would most definitely be drama if she found out exactly what it was that was happening between the two of them. When he finally heard a gentle rap on the door, Masaru opened it and bowed his head in respect to the Kinslayer, knowing that she was fully appreciative of such gestures and liked to think that she was better than everyone else. “Isadora, how nice of you to join me this night.” |
