![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru Yukie had never driven so fast in her life. The gas pedal of withered old rental car was being pushed down so hard it touched the ground, making it almost impossible for the driver to see where she was going. It wasn't late at all - only about 8 in the evening - but still the amount of cars on the road was minimal. For this she was eternally greatful; more cars meant more chances of crashing, and at this very moment she could not afford to crash. Lives depended on it; quite literally. About a week ago, the fox had met a young girl travelling to Paris. She'd been a sweet girl and the two had gotten to talking for a while.. several hours, actually. Although the girl had admitted that she had nowhere to stay she would not accept Yukie's offers, insisting that she'd do well enough on her own. Just an hour ago, Yukie had gotten a text message from that same girl saying that she was being held captive by some kind of strange vampire. Now, although this was quite suspicious all on it's own - this particular girl just so happened to be a recently infected werefox. Masaru - that disgusting leach that called himself a vampire - had been the first person to pop into Yukie's mind. If he'd found out that Yukie had offered protection to the girl; said that if she ever got in trouble to give her a call, well.. she could only imagine what he might've done to her. And so here she was, going about fifty above the speed limit, driving toward the Ossuary. She reached the building in just under an hour, having had to first find her way out of the airport. It didn't matter that she was going to miss her flight.. Anika's life was more important then leaving Paris, and she wasn't going to let the girl die just because she had some bad luck. Nobody so much as glanced at the fox as she walked toward the Necropolis, an area that she'd learned to be Masaru's lair, so to speak. The moment she set foot inside of it her metaphysical area searched out; looking for the familiarity that would be Anika. She found.. something, but it wasn't her target. Another fox, younger, far more familiar.. With wide eyes she'd run toward the source, only to find her daughter sitting happily alone in a room full of toys. Jaw dropping, she did a quick look around for any vampires before running to the girl. "Kou, sweetie? What're you doing here?" She asked curiously, kneeling down to embrace her daughter in a tight hug. She hadn't seen her in days, having left the girl with a trusted friend and collegue until she could leave the country. The woman was supposed to get on a plane two days after Yukie had left, Kou along with her.. but apparently something had gone wrong. "Mas said I could play here," she replied, overjoyed to see her mother after what'd seemed like ages to such a young child. The nickname 'Mas' came as quite a shock to Yukie. To her knowledge, Kou and Masaru had only met once.. just how long had her daughter been here? "Come with me honey; we just need to find somebody and we're going to go home, okay?" It had been relatively easy for Masaru to figure out exactly what Yukie was planning. It was predictable, and entirely too easy for Masaru to discover that she intended on leaving Paris, if not the entire country. He had found out her flight information just minutes after she had booked it. His spys had told him that she had left her daughter with a friend before going to stay at a hotel. It was only hours later that he had gone to her friends house – the friend was a were-rat who worked at the same place as Yukie. It had been difficult to mindfuck the rat to the point of breaking, however it had been done without her screaming or scaring Kou, who had been in another room at the time. Masaru had gotton the rat to tell Kou that there had been a mistake, and that she had to go stay at Masaru's place until her mother came back. They both got into his limo, and driven to the Ossuary together, stopping at Macdonalds to get Kou a “happy meal”. She had been quiet at first, but after she had gotton her $2 toy, Kou had brightened up, chatting to him about everything and anything. It was when they reached the Ossuary that the young fox became extremely quiet, though both the rat and Masaru had assured her that it was okay. They had lead her to a new room in Masaru's chambers – an extremely colourful one at that. It had a tv, and a hundred different toys, including ones that he had seen in Yukie's house during his brief visit. She seemed delighted, and both Masaru and the Rat gave her a quick hug, before it was the rat's time to leave. Masaru had smiled at Kou and said that he would be back in a minute, before shutting the door behind them and guiding the rat downstairs to the torture chambers, where he had promptly commanded the executioner to kill her. Masaru oversaw the event, without a drop of blood spilling onto him. He was back to play with Kou in less than a minute. They played 'dollies' and watched more disney movies than Masaru ever wanted to see, however doing such things seemed to please Kou, and during that first night, she had become quiet attached to him. It had been only 4am when Masaru had learned about Yukie's location. By whatever chance, at the hotel, she had met with another fox, who went by the name Anika. Whatever discussion they had had was a mystery, however he had learnt that the two had been talking for a long time. Obviously, they had formed a bond. And so, as soon as Yukie and Anika were out of sight of each other (his spy had called him), he had focused his call on Anika. So very easily, she had answered his call. It had been amusing to him, and it had not been long before she was in the Ossuary with him and Kou. It was with a great satisfaction that he had demonstrated his ability to rot to her, threatening to rot all over her if she did attempted to run away, before explaining to her that she was to look after Kou. No bad words were allowed to be said against him, or he would simply tie her down and have his way with her, leaving rotten remains in places he was sure she would not want them. It was with that, that he locked Anika in the room with Kou, giving them the number of the servants who would bring them food if needed – he doubted that Kou would have the energy to stay awake though. The next night had been rather...eventful. He had sent Anika to Vale, telling his second simply that he needed her to fear them both. He had no doubts that Vale would do the job flawlessly, and thus he had gone to work on making Kou like him, which was surprisingly easy. He had some of his servants put on 'little red riding hood' for her, as well as buying her junk food and simply talking to her about kindergarten. Fortunately, she had been tired and it was at 4am when she had fallen asleep in his lap whilst he was reading her a story. He tucked her into bed, before seeing to Anika. It seemed that Vale had done an excellent job. Better than he could have hoped for. It was with this that he had told Anika to send a message to Yukie, saying nothing except that she was being held captive by a strange vampire. To his upmost delight, Yukie had immediately started coming closer to their location. He could feel it. When she was mere minutes away, he had decided that he would certainly be putting a show on for her. It was with this that he had rotted all over a horrified Anika, before waiting near Kou for Yukie to appear. He had sat quietly, watching with a smirk on his face as Yukie waltzed in, apparently not seeing him at all, but rather, her daughter. It was when Yukie stated that they were missing somebody that Masaru spoke. “She's here. Would you like to see her?” He walked over to a cupboard, where a rather wide-eyed Anika had been locked in. She smelt...horrible, and the reasons were perfectly noticable – the rotted flesh that covered her body sent out a rather nice message. So did the room full of toys that he had prepared for Kou. Quite simply, Yukie had a choice on the way she would like to be treated. He was sure the message was not lost on her. “Unfortunately, Anika had a cooking accident. She was trying to make you a cake Kou, but she used the wrong ingredients.” He laughed, though it was more for Kou's benefit than anything else. Kou laughed too, before saying “Silly Anika!”. Masaru ruffled Kou's hair, his eyes on Yukie, and Yukie alone. |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru "But I don't want go leave yet, mommy.. Can't we stay a little longer?" The young girl pleaded, causing Yukie to stop what she was doing entirely. Kou actually wanted to stay? That mother fucker.. Not even taking the time to realize she'd sworn more in the past week then she had in months, the fox picked up her daughter and turned around - only to be greeted by the sight of Masaru standing before her. He claimed that Anika was there, and even went so far as to ask Yukie if she wanted to see the girl. Well no shit, asshole, she wanted to say, but for the sake of her daughter refrained from doing so. Instead she refused to answer at all, merely watching as the vampire walked to the cupboard and unlocked it. The moment he did she took notice of the smell - and the girl's actual presence in the room. Unless Masaru was kidnapping twin foxes, then it was definitely Anika. Though from the first look at her, Yukie might not have guessed it. The moment the stench hit her nostrils and the first rotted piece of flesh came into view, her hand shot down to cover Kou's eyes. She stared in horror at the young, obviously mortified and terrified girl, who had very obviously been crying for.. who even knew how long. "Dear god..." She murmured quietly, before swiftly swooping down and scooping Kou into her arms. "Baby, you know how I told you it was rude to stare at sick people?" She whispered in her daughter's ear, kissing her cheek as she nodded and looked away from the cupboard. Masaru didn't seem to be wanting to actually harm Kou - though she had no doubts that he would, if the need arose - and although she didn't want to, Yukie could rationalize that Anika needed her help somewhat more then her daughter. Staring like she was some sort of.. monster, wouldn't exactly help her situation very much. Placing Kou back down on the ground, she broke eye contact with Masaru and walked to the cupboard where Anika knelt on the floor. The smell was suffocating; she almost couldn't stand it. Almost. Her beast curled around Anika's, comforting it in it's own way, letting it know that it was no longer in danger. That safety and protection had come and she would no longer be harmed. Anika was sobbing, and flinched as the elder woman reached up to touch her cheek. Or at least.. what part of it could still be clearly seen. "Darling, I'm so sorry.. I promise you that everything will be alright from now on. This man will never touch you again, okay? I promise.." She cooed softly, squeezing her eyes shut as she pulled the girl into an embrace. She meant her words, yes.. but.. what would the cost be to see them through? She wasn't sure she wanted to find out, but well.. it was not only in her nature, but was part of her position as an alpha in the Skulk to help the younger foxes in any way that she could. And if that meant agreeing to some kind of terms Masaru wanted, she realized that she knew that she was not in the best of positions to refuse. "It's okay.. You're going to get home, and they'll clean you up there, alright? Let them know I'll come by to help once I'm through here." She made sure to be very careful not to use any names - just in case. Leaning in to that same clean spot of skin (clean meaning there were no sizable chucks of rotted flesh covering it), Yukie placed a small kiss on Anika's cheek, offering her a reassuring smile once she'd done so. Yes, the action disgusted her, and yes she felt like retching at being so close to something so horrible and disgusting, but to let Anika know this would only be to make her feel worse. If she couldn't be strong for the girl, then who would? She didn't even pull off what little of the flesh - it was horrid to think that the substance had once been flesh - that had transferred to her own clothes, or hands. She instead took off her jacket and handed it to Anika - not for warmth, but to wipe off what she could. And then she turned to Masaru. Yukie in general, was not a very cold person. Quite the opposite in fact; she was friendly toward most of the people that she met, providing they gave her the same honor. Though along with this came her extremely protective nature. If somebody harmed those that she loved or cared about, she was about ready to rip them to shreds. And although that might not have been an option when it came to Masaru.. she sure as hell wanted to. She wished she'd brought holy water, silver, rocks, absolutely anything that she could hurl at him, to make him wish he was never born.. or created, or dead, whatever the hell it was for things like him. She was disgusted to the very core, unable to believe that he would treat a child that way - no doubt scarring her for life. Her tone was surprisingly level when she spoke - she'd half expected herself to start screaming and yelling. "May I speak with you outside for a moment, Masaru?" She asked, refusing to discuss anything about him marking her, or anything at all in front of Kou. If her daughter was going to be forced to even be acquainted with such a despicable person, she was not going to know anything about it. Edited by NPC, Jan 28 2009, 01:18 PM.

The fact that Kou wanted to stay was actually a pleasant surprise, given that she had the option of going back to her home which she hadn't lived at in two days – a long time for any child. Even more amusing was that the second Yukie had let go of her daughter, Kou had run over to him and hugged his leg, after which he had promptly picked her up and given her a hug. “Don't worry, she's okay. She just had an accident, thats all.” He murmured to Kou, who nodded and buried her head in his shoulder. Masaru patted her hair affectionately whilst watching Yukie's reaction to the rotted flesh that covered Anika. He was surprised that Yukie was even able to go near her – he knew that the smell alone was not pleasant, yet alone the physical feel of the stuff. Yet Yukie forced herself to go near her, touching a part of her flesh that wasn't entirely covered in the rotting remains. Even more interesting was the fact that Yukie promised Anika that everything would be okay, and that he would never touch her again. Masaru smirked. How much exactly would Yukie be willing to sacrifice for such a promise? Yet alone for the safety of her daughter. He could feel Yukie's beast curling around Anika's, though he wasn't sure whether it would truly do much to help the woman. In fact the best thing for Anika would probably be to get out of the Ossuary. Masaru didn't intend on letting the fox go unless Yukie promised him something. And he had found exactly the right way to do it. He did not comment on Yukie's words – he knew that she could not promise them protection against him. “No. Anika, stays here.” Masaru commented nonchalantly after Yukie told he that she was going to go home. Amused, he watched as Yukie placed a kiss on Anika's cheek. Apparently Yukie truly did care for this other fox. Masaru patted Kou on the head affectionately, before looking up to Yukie once more. She was seething with rage, that much was obvious. Though she managed to control her tone, perhaps for Kou's sake. “Indeed, though we are certainly not going outside. Masaru smiled at Yukie. He knew that outside he didn't have nearly as much power or influence as he did in his chambers – if anything went wrong he could call any one of his servants and they would be there in seconds. “I will simply put everyone back where they belong.” He stated, before taking Kou to her room and putting on another movie. “Kou, Watch this movie okay? Your mum and me are going to have an adult talk.” Kou nodded before turning her head back to the tv. Masaru closed and locked the door – he didn't let Anika in the room because he knew that her appearance was more than a little disgusting, and he didn't want Kou to get covered in the stuff. It was with that, that Masaru went back into the room. “Anika, get back into the cupboard.” To his upmost delight, she simply looked at Yukie before complying with his orders. Masaru then shut and locked her door as well. “One year of service for every day.” Masaru commented, walking towards Yukie in a rather threatening manner. “I want one year of your absolute servitude for every day I do not 'harm' Anika. I want another year of service for me to not harm Kou.” He was being blunt, and straight to the point but at least Yukie would understand exactly what it was that he wanted from him. He was now standing dangerously close to Yukie, invading her personal space without any feeling of guilt. With a cold smile that would have made any mortal shiver, he traced a finger down her cheek. He had decided upon exactly what it was that he wanted from her, and he would no bargain for anything less, though he was sure that Yukie would try and find a way to get out of it. He placed a hand on her arm, both to prevent her attacking with her stronger arm, and to ensure that she would not simply run away though he doubted she would do the latter. “If you want Anika to go home tonight, you and Kou must come live with me in the Ossuary.” |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru No? No? What the hell was wrong with him-- the longer that poor girl spent in this place, the more and more terrified she'd get. If it'd been Yukie in that position, with that horrid gunk all over her, she would've probably fainted by that point. Or, maybe not.. who knew what might get done to her while she was unconscious. ".. where they belong." Oh, that asshole. Fists both clenching unintentionally, she stuffed her hands in her pockets to stop herself from attacking him. She shut her eyes too, because at this point they'd already bled through to those of her beast. It was hard, reminding herself that she had to stay calm, especially when he told Anika to get back in the closet. Yukie barely managed to smile again at the girl as she looked to her for reassurance, her mind was feeling so.. full, at the moment. Kou actually liked Masaru. The son of a bitch was going to make her daughter grow attached to him - making it even more difficult for Yukie to try and leave. He was digging her into a hole, and the only way out was going to be by taking his hand for help. If it could even be considered that. She refused to back up even an inch as he walked toward her, having opened her eyes by the time locked the closet door. Gritting her teeth, she glared at him venomously, not being able to believe the words that came out of his mouth. If only looks could kill; she'd have been set for life. He wanted a year of service for her, for every day that he didn't harm Anika - and another on top of that for Kou. That meant that in just a month, she would owe him practically the rest of her life. No- no, Yukie would not agree to that. She was not going to throw away the rest of her life just because of his selfishness.. Through the disbelief, she hadn't even noticed that tears were beginning to prick at the back of her own eyes, too. Truthfully, the decision was already made. She would do anything to protect her daughter, and if she let him affect Anika any more then he already had there'd be no healing it, not with anything. She had no choice. Their lives were more important then hers, and it would've been selfish of her to put them in a dangerous situation just at the cost of, well.. her freedom. But when he asked her to come and live in the Ossuary - no, it was more like a twisted demand - Yukie could no longer contain the anger. She suddenly ripped her hands from her pockets, going to push him away from her, all the while yelling at him. "You mother fucker- I will not allow my daughter to grow up in this kind of environment! I'll be your servant or whatever the fucking hell you want from me, but I will die before seeing her making a home for herself, here of all places!" She spat the word 'home' like it was poison. Did he have any rational thought at all, in that sick and twisted mind of his? This was overstepping the line by a mile - Kou would not grow up here. The tears had broken whatever strong barrier she'd managed to put on, and after just a brief moment she realized how dangerous losing her temper truly could be. "What.. what would I need to do? There has to be another way, I won't let her grow up like this.." |

Yukie was slowly losing control of her beast because of her anger, and it made Masaru smile. Her anger was making her irrational, and if she agreed to his deal then he would be extremely happy. Even when the tears started falling down her cheeks, he felt no sympathy for her whatsoever. She had ignored him and even tried to run away, and now she was about to face the consequences of her actions. Yukie's eyes had already bled to those of her fox, and Masaru found it quite endearing. It was when she finally physically pushed him that he decided that he would not be backing down in the slightest. No, every time she pulled a slight against him, his bargain would become worse. “You'd rather die before seeing Kou be raised here? That can be arranged.” It was then that he stepped towards her once, more wiping a tear off her right cheek with a finger. “It would be a shame, Yukie, but I would be more than happy to assist in these demands. So, I shall kill you. Anika and Kou will both live with me. Does that satisfy you more?” He let one of his hands rot, before very, very slowly bringing it to her face – he wasn't going to touch her with the flesh but he had decided that her anger and fear made her say very stupid things, and thus her being angry was a good thing for him. “That is the other option. The only other option. I am not fussed either way. Kou has a bright future ahead of her either way, one ending up with her being my servant for eternity, the other having her lead a relatively normal life living here.” He smiled pleasantly at Yukie, before returning his rotted hand back to normal. “Which will it be, Yukie? The choice is yours.” Not that there was much of a choice to be had. |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru It was times like these that Yukie wished she was more religious - that she could pray to God for this man to just leave her alone and never bother her or her family (or Anika) again. Yes, she was able to pray, but she wanted to actually believe that it would help. She'd need a miracle to make it through this - both of the options that he gave were less then satisfactory to say the very least. She immediately stepped back from him as he said that her death could be arranged - and that both Anika and Kou would live with him, alone, if she did die. Again she was left with no choice. Cringing as his hand began to rot, Yukie tried to back away even more, only to find she'd hit a wall. How extremely convenient. The rotted hand got amazingly close to her face, but none of the disgusting flesh touched her skin. She breathed a sigh of relief, having been holding her breath for several moments now. The stench was even worse when it was fresh. She shook her head when he finally finished, though not in refusal. Instead, in defeat. Because that was how she was feeling at the moment; completely and utterly defeated, cornered from every possible direction. Masaru had collected all the pieces, held all the right cards so to speak, and all that was left was to accept her fate. "No.." She said in a meak tone, still shaking her head. "I-" She bit down on her lip, so hard that it drew blood. "We.. will live with you." Dammit; how had she gotten into this mess? What'd she done that was so bad, so amazingly bad that she deserved this-- no, that her daughter deserved this? Already she'd decided that for as long as she possibly could, at all costs, Yukie was going to hide what really went on between she and Masaru from her daughter. As far as she'd be concerned.. the vampire would just be a distant relative of theirs that Kou had never met before now, and who her mother happened to be good friends with. "Now, please.. can I take Anika home?" She asked, feeling completely ridiculous. Actually feeling like she had to ask to take a child home; it was demeaning. |

Though Yukie shook his head, Masaru knew that he had won regardless. Her body language told him such. She shook her head – Masaru interpreted it as her trying to think of a way out. However there was none, and she had realized that fact and agreed to his terms. And now there would be no backing out of it, lest she wanted the ones close to her destroyed both physically and mentally. Masaru was fairly certain that it would break Yukie's heart for Kou to prefer him over her, and yet it was just another thing he could hold over her head later. It seemed almost necessary for him to do such things to ensure her co-operation. “You may take Anika home. I will watch Kou.” It was a statement. Kou would not be leaving the Ossuary whilst he was awake, unless he was with her. It wasn't a condition of their agreement, however Masaru would personally make it extremely difficult for Kou to get access to her daughter during the night. Daytime was a different matter entirely, but Masaru had already decided that he would be the one scaring away the monsters under the bed and reading her bedtime stories. It would simply serve as another blow to Yukie. Masaru could smell the blood on her lip, and he kept his face blank, deciding that he wanted to test her word right then and there. He moved in and kissed her gently, moving to get the blood off her lips more than anything else. To him, the kiss was not sexual in the slightest, merely a test of how far she would go to protect the ones she loved. It lasted only long enough for Masaru to taste her blood, before he pulled back from her coldly, acting as if the kiss had meant nothing. In truth it meant more than that – it meant that perhaps Yukie had finally learnt her place. “Take Anika back home. I take it you saw how the locks were done up.” If she didn't know, it was her own problem. She had guaranteed Anika safety, so it was her problem to get her to safety, not his. Without a word more, he walked to Kou's room, shutting the door behind them. [Feel free to do the time jump XD] |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru Yukie fought back a sneer when Masaru said he'd watch Kou - of course he would. He seemed like the type that'd spend as much time as possible with her daughter just for that extra little kick and effect on top of everything else he was doing to her. Well, she'd already spent four years with the child as a single mother, and she could hope that she'd taught Kou well enough to see past material things, and judge people for herself. It was true that she was only four, but already the girl was intelligent for her age. Perhaps she'd see through Masaru's rouse.. perhaps not. As said; she was only four. That just meant that Yukie would have to spend as much time with her as possible - day and night. The kiss, although she guessed what was going to happen before the actual contact of their lips, felt rather sudden. Every muscle in her body tensed up, and it took much effort not to just.. to just open her mouth and rip out his tongue, or something like that. Though even that wouldn't be nearly enough to express how she was feeling. She wanted to let her beast take over like it wanted to; to rip him apart.. and then cuddle up to the pieces. It was true that it was drawn to the vampire like moth to a flame, but it was also extremely protective of it's young. There just seemed something.. very off, about the way he referred to the young child, and Yukie made yet another decision - to try and make them spend the least possible amount of time together. She didn't move even a millimeter until he had shut the door. Taking Anika home took a little longer then expected. Once they reached the car she spent several minutes just hugging and comforting the girl, helping her to wipe off what little of the rotted flesh Yukie's jacket could get. Unfortunately, this was not very much. After handing her over to Ange, she'd explained the situation to the lioness.. leaving out many pieces of vital information, but she couldn't help but feel like she was on a bit of a time limit. Every second Masaru spent with Kou was a second lost; another (albeit small) victory for the vampire. Trusting that she'd left Anika in more then capable hands, she said her goodbyes and was off again. There were several things still needing discussion, and she hoped to actually discuss them. Not just be told several equally horrible choices and have to pick one. "Having fun?" She greeted her daughter with a bright smile upon entering the room, one which was (much to Yukie's relief, although she'd never admit it aloud) returned. "Yes! Will you watch with us, mommy?" "Maybe soon sweetie, but Mas and I still have a few more things to talk about." She glanced in his direction briefly, not looking for approval. The very thought that she might have to was repulsive.. a lot like the kiss they'd shared not long ago. |

“Of course she will watch with us.” Masaru said, completely disregarding Yukie's statement whilst flashing a smile to Kou. “Adult talk can wait until later. Come Yukie, sit.” Masaru kept that same smile on his face whilst he watched her. Kou seemed happy to have her mother around and it would do nicely for the girl to believe that all three of them were going to be a family or something of the sort. The deeper his connection with the girl, the harder Yukie would find it to convince Kou to leave. It worked well in his favour. 'If you wish to talk, then open your mind.' Masaru metaphysically stated loud and clear to her. Speaking through their minds would serve him much better than speaking out loud and perhaps being overheard or scaring the young girl leaning against him. 'Now sit.' He patted the spot next to him, not even glancing at Yukie as he continued to fake watching the movie on the screen. |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru Yukie narrowed her eyes at Masaru's refusal to talk outside. She didn't want for Kou to believe they were going to be some kind of family, despite the fact that they'd all be living together. It was an amazingly difficult concept to grasp, to think that Kou might actually grow to consider Masaru a father figure in her life. Even though this was probably the best thing for her daughter - for her mother to believe she actually wanted to stay here, for whatever reason.. Yukie had no idea why she would. However, she did go and sit beside Masaru when he patted the couch. Not because she wanted to, but more because it was best spot available that allowed her to be close to Kou. Her daughter would only be the outstretching of an arm away, and although she'd have to stretch past Masaru's knee to actually make any contact, it was well worth it. Making herself as possibly comfortable as she could be when sitting next to a homicidal vampire who had the ability to rot at will, Yukie did what she could to focus on the screen, and Kou. Only to just barely stop herself from jumping back up again. Only once before had she used that form of telepathic communication, and even then every new sentence he spoke made her want to jump in surprise and turn around to see who was talking to her so closely. 'I don't feel comfortable speaking like this.. but.. I suppose it's better then nothing.' She replied, with fairly little difficulty - though she couldn't help but shake the feeling that she was talking to herself. 'I want to ask you a few things.. and would ask you to actually reply to me as if I was a person, not some sort of slave, please. First-- what exactly did you mean by servitude? What am I going to be doing, cleaning your room, or something? I'd like to at least know what it is I agreed to..' She hoped silently for a proper response, wondering what the hell she was doing trying to speak civilly with this creature. |

Masaru was pleased when Yukie took the seat beside him, not even caring that she made no effort to physically touch him whatsoever. He could change such a thing if he desired to, and at that current moment he was too pleased about winning the very small battle that he had. Improvements could be made so much quicker if Yukie could be accessed at all times. It was in a very relaxed manner that he pulled her in closer, his touch to her skin metaphysically caressing her beast. She had not tried to flee whilst taking Anika back, and it deserved a reward even if she did not appreciate it. 'Kou missed you, I do not think it is wise to upset her by leaving her alone.' Mas said, plaiting the young girls hair as he kept his eyes on the screen. 'She missed you terribly.' He knew that the information would come as a relief to Yukie, who probably had missed her daughter as well. It didn't hurt to give the fox some small comforts occasionally – it made it all the more painful when they got taken away. When Yukie started asking questions, Masaru actually turned his head slightly to look at her before looking back to the television screen. 'I will not treat you like a servant if you behave yourself.' That much was true. So long as she did not screech or complain or attempt to undermine him in front of others, there would be no need for him to treat her badly. Still, he was a vampire of mort d'amour and there were unpleasant duties that needed to be seen to. 'Yukie, I do not believe you are naieve. I am a vampire, and I am on the council. You will be tending to my needs, attending events with me, and many other things. I expect you to simply behave yourself and save me from having to lend you to another vampire as repayment for your wrongdoings. We are now bound together metaphysically, and as such, you are expected to know things. Especially when it comes to our combined powers.' He didn't know why he was trying to explain – he already figured that she would not get it and yet he felt the need to attempt explaining things too her – it wouldn't do any good to have an ignorant servant. |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru Despite the fact that her beast was rather enjoying the closeness to Masaru, Yukie cringed when he touched her. She didn't want to be anywhere near him; the more he toucher her, touched Kou, the more she hated him. Damn her beast - it'd be just fine without him. She could get Kou out of the country while he slept, resist his call, get out herself.. Banishing those thoughts from her head (just in case she accidentally.. said them.. or something..), Yukie reached out and took her daughter's hand within her own, caressing it softly as she continued to stare at the screen. 'So long as she's not alone with you..' She'd barely realized she was thinking the thought until it was, well, thought. This whole talking telepathically thing was definitely going to take some getting used to. But either way, what he was basically saying was quite stupid. His definition of her 'behaving herself' so far was submitting to his every whim without word or question, and then thanking him for it? Maybe not to that extent, but what he was doing was pretty damn close. 'Please enlighten me - what exactly counts as 'behaving myself'? I didn't ask for this, to be your little pet, or whatever the hell you think I am, you're forcing it on me and expecting me to just shut up and deal with it. Now you expect me to do all these things, know all these rules about some weird vampire world that I wanted nothing to do with in the first place? And what do you mean 'lending me to another vampire'!? I'm not some object, you can't just pass me around. Oh, and don't even get me started on 'attending events' with you.. I do sort of have a life of my own, one that is rather busy I might add, owning a cafe, being a mother and all?' She didn't care if she was going to get 'punished' for speaking freely; that would just add to the stupidity of the situation. He wasn't going to shut her up just by saying so, her thoughts were her own, and the fact that he wanted to invade them was his own fault. |

Masaru smirked quite visibly when Yukie made it clear that she did not want Kou left alone with him. 'If she does not get to stay alone with me, she does not get to stay alone with you either.' Though his eyes were still on the TV screen, he did not hesitate in pulling Yukie even closer to the point where she was practically sitting on his lap, for both his and Kou's benefit, and perhaps to remind Yukie what she could be losing in such a situation. 'I am sure that you will learn what it means to behave yourself in due time. For the most part, it simply means that you do not speak to another master vampire unless you know exactly what it is that you are getting yourself into. On that note...I suppose it means any vampire in general, since I do not think you will be able to tell the difference for quite some time.' Kou was enchanted with the television screen now, and it was with ease that Masaru broke contact with her so that he would not effect her with his next action – calling the fox in such a way that his skin practically vibrated with warmth and the feel of another fox. It was with this that he wrapped his arms around Yukie, as if to encourage her to simply accept what he was saying. 'I do not want to pass you around, Yukie. But in a situation where you speak against me, or undermine me, I may not have a choice. Vampire politics are far trickier than human ones, and they could result ultimately in your death. All I ask is that you be mindful of such a thing.' Wrapping his arms around her tighter and buried his face in her hair, both to give the illusion of hugging to Kou, and to prevent Yukie from attacking him at his next words. 'I do not expect you to give up your entire life. I am simply telling you that when I need you, there will be good reason for it, and you must come, unless you'd rather us both die, as well as Kou, not to mention all those who associate with me. You can work – but you have to leave Kou here for safety reasons. If you don't feel comfortable with me or one of my kiss looking after her, then you can assign her a babysitter, however she cannot leave here unless she has a bodyguard.' |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru 'You honestly think you have a right to say whether or not I see my own daughter?' Yukie questioned, before immediately biting down on her.. er, metaphysical lip. It was nothing like speaking, where you could just sit there and think before replying to somebody. The thoughts merely popped into your mind and thus, were transferred into whoever you might be speaking with, too. She stared at Kou for a brief moment, sighing softly as she forced herself to relax against him. Struggling was useless, he was only proving that more the closer he forced her to be to him. 'So basically, until I learn to distinguish them from one another and basics of your politics, I won't be speaking to any other vampires but you?' A smile threatened to curve at the corners of her lips, but she managed to force it down. If it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have to talk to vampires at all. She'd almost gasped at the sudden change, the sudden familiarity of being so close to another fox coming down upon Yukie much like a hammer. She found herself pressing her cheek to his arm for comfort. It took much of her will power to actually return to facing the screen, the little display of his abilities being more then enough to remind her just how badly she'd need the Skulk in a situation like this. Just that faint feeling of being closer to home, had been enough to make her forget herself and for her beast to finally seep through, metaphysically wrapping itself around Masaru. It wanted to do it physically, too - but fortunately she hadn't allowed that to happen. If he hadn't been so close to her - constricting her movement to a certain extent - her jaw might've dropped right to the ground when he then continued to explain what he expected the situation to be with Kou. 'What?' She half.. hissed, half sneered at him. He would've seen the sneer if his face hadn't been buried in her hair, and it was good that he was holding her so tightly, or else the attack he'd been expecting would've most certainly been delivered. "Let me just get this clear with you, chi kyuuban.." It'd been years since the fox had switched from English to her native tongue in such casual speech; but then, such occasions as threatening vampires were never casual. "You and I both know that I'm doing you a favor by agreeing to as much as I have - it saves you much time and trouble. But if you honestly think I'll let those blood sucking scum you refer to as your 'kiss' actually be in charge of Kou, alone with her, when I have a choice in the matter? You are sorely mistaken." 'Quite frankly? Yes, I do.' Masaru replied calmly. Yukie was now one of his servants completely, and thus everything that she owed was, by default, also owned by him. That included her daughter, and perhaps, anyone with even the slightest link to her. He nodded at her next question. 'This would all not be a problem if you had simply let me take Kou like I had originally intended, Yukie. As it stands, I am simply cutting my potential losses sevenfold. You will simply have to just trust me, as horrifying as that may sound to you,' Masaru had smiled at the change in Yukie's body language – she had softened, relaxed a little more despite the situation she was in. It meant, at the very least, that he was definitely getting to her. He felt her pulse increase as her anger raised up once more and so he further deepened the feeling of fox surrounding her until he was sure that she could feel nothing but the intoxicating scent around her. Her speaking out loud only made him increase the power sevenfold, which he did not consider too strong for Yukie. At least he had not completely opened the marks between them as of yet. “I do not see you doing anyone favours but yourself.” Masaru replied in a calm tone. “I have plenty time to spare, but you have limited time to watch your daughter grow up, let alone Anika live a good life. I have already had a hundred or so lifetimes to watch such things and though they provide some small amusement, I would be just as satisfied to crush such lives.” He stroked a finger across Yukie's lips, before tracking her jawline and her neck. He had no qualms about killing both Kou and Anika, though he knew it would be a shame to see Kou die so early, if he needed to do it then he would, if simply just to teach Yukie a lesson. “As stated before, either you can choose a babysitter, or I can. You have the rest of the night to do so, and the night is so young.” Masaru placed a kiss on Yukie's cheek, before very suddenly withdrawing all the feel of the fox from him so that his body was once more cold to her. Masaru smiled, patting Yukie gently on the back and waiting for her to get up before standing up himself. Kou looked at them both and giggled. |

![]() Yukie Shibasaki ·· 28 Years of Age ·· Werefox ·· Mother ·· Animal Servant to Masaru 'Take her? Please.. you know how much I love my daughter. I may hate it, but given the chance, I'd take her place again, and a million times after that.' Anything to let Kou live even a semi normal life. Though, part of her statement wasn't entirely true. She'd said he knew how much she loved her daughter.. but obviously, if he thought that this was the end of her argument and defiance, then he'd be in for quite the surprise. She did not, and would not, give up this easily. Refusing to look at him as he spoke aloud, Yukie knew that Masaru spoke the truth, but it still wasn't exactly pleasant to be reminded of just how easily he could kill the girls. She refused to react to his touch; it was not that of a fox. His aura might've felt like the Skulk.. but in her mind she knew that he was dead, nothing but an animated corpse, who would die yet again in just a few hours to come. "I'll find a babysitter.." She murmured, turning her face slightly to the side so that his kiss was even further from her lips. That had been an experience she'd prefer never again to go through, especially with a bleeding lip. Practically jumping off and away from him as his aura changed yet again, Yukie managed a small playful grin (for Kou's sake) as she folded her arms across her chest. She felt bad decieving her daughter like this, but there was no way for Kou to know the truth without scaring her, to say the very least. To think that the little girl's mother was a servant to some kind of insane (in Yukie's opinion) vampire.. "Sweetie, mommy's going to head off for a while now, alright?" She said, beginning toward the doorway. "I'll be back a little later." She paused, going over and kissing Kou on the forehead, before leaving the room. |
