Gerard held up his hand as she started to go on about how this man was hers. “Non, if he was yours he would not have come to my service. If he was yours he would still be in your warehouse. If he were loyal he would have not come to me. So we will be discussing the release of my leopard to you for all of these things say that he is not yours.” He relaxed further into his chair as he regarded the impact of his words on the lioness. “Furthermore Dhelia, I shall remind you that it was your actions that caused him to come to me. Your actions that decided his fate. You, and only you” He decided to act a but human and took a slow breath even though it was not required of him. “Yes, a resource I am sure you are familiar with the word. While food is considered a resource that is not what I am talking of, time is what I speak off. You offer me things that take a fraction of what time can give. “ When she decided to offer herself in the place of the leopard Gerard raises an eyebrow and leaned forward to show his interest in the subject. “That would be acceptable but I will have to tell the leopard that he is not worth more than a 24 hour period. I am sure he would understand after all he had agreed to service of a year and a day. It is not ever year that you are told you are worth less then a single day of resources it will be heart breaking for him but well, I can understand you wanting to make such an offer.” When she leaned forward he leaned back once more. She was not a fool, no she was used to people underestimating her not overestimating and planning for every eventuality. “Now, Dhelia surely you do not wish for me to tell him that you undervalue him so much and that we can come to a more comfortable arrangement, for the leopard’s sake.” |

Deal shot up to her feet as he insisted that CHuck was not hers. With every fiber of her being she disagreed with him. Her hands clenched into fists at her side and her whole body was clearly strung out with frustration. "Chuck is not even a year into his change. He could not resist your call... and I could not hear it. You have played dirty. You speak to me of honor and rights but you are the one who has played dirty here. You want me? You CALL ME!" Deal spoke all through clenched teeth. Her chest was heaving, she was practically busting out of the tatterred corset top as her rage was making her boil. She was standing their boiling and fuming as he sat back and took a human breath. That too made her boil even more. His explanation of resources baffled her though. Time... Time... what the hell did that mean. What could he gain from by just stealing another person's time? She saw the interest clearly on his face as she had offered herself in Chuck's place. It had been all a ploy to get her hear. To trap her. She had been right! She took a step forward in outrage as Gerard informed her that Chuck had agreed to a year and a day with the man. Chuck had no right to agree to anything. He must have said anything to this man under duress. What had been done to him? Only SHE was allowed to hurt him. WHen Gerard sat back as her mind went wild she growled. A most feline protective growl. "Chuck is new. I am worth 10 of him. My time. My resources are more valuable then his. 1 month of my time. 1 month as a resource for you. In exchange for Chuck. Another month and a day for our continued assurance that you will leave mine alone." Deal said. So she had to spend her nights here for a few months. She would have her days to work. Frank and Chuck could handle the network for a while they just couldn't take any new requests for two months. She wouldn't have the time to develop new stuff. For the assurity of the safety of those that were hers she could do this. Fuckin Old Vamp probably just wanted someone new to tell his fucking life story too. "63 nights of me as a resource. Alpha... lioness... brain. It is a fair offer." She tried to insist. |

She was getting angry; anger was always the first step in defeat. He could see it her everywhere. The flush of her skin, the deep breaths, if his study of human behavior was any indication soon she would start shaking as the adrenaline flowed into her system by the pound. “He is not even a year, well then it is good I will be able to be with him during his changes. To show him ways to handle the increase of energy, what better teacher then one that has lifetimes of experience with those of his kind? And do you forget that I did call you and do you remember what you did? Shall I regail the tale to you or do you remember exactly what happened?” It was almost amusing to see her boiling so much with rage the vampire idly wondered how she was able to contain it all in the tight corset top. Gerard took a mental note that the corset bust line would need to be taken out just a bit more if she would continue to be prone to such outbursts. There would be time to get the exact measurements down and he was sure to have that with the way the conversation moved next. “While we both agree that your time is more valuable than his what we do not agree on is the amount. To be worth ten times more than a person means much and I would hold you to such but I fear it would run you ragged. Why not let us say four times as much that is an attainable level for you I believe that will be three months.” He leaned forward again letting his blue eyes settle onto hers. “Put yourself into my shoes then Dhelia, someone asks for a lifetime of protection and is only willing to give a month of work surely that is unbalanced trade. If protection is what you seek that you will have to trade the days away, one for one.” He knew she wouldn’t take it, the lioness was trying to turn an advantage without giving into the time that he required. He would not be taken advantage, no if she wanted it she would have to pay for it until the time when he tired of them all and dismissed them. |

Another step forward as he ensued he could teach Chuck better then she could. "He is taught... I took care of that. He just needs someone who understands, someone who can help with a hunt, a track." Deal breathed heavily, almost snarling as she spoke. "That was not a call. A proper call. That was an annoyance I didn't know what to do with. And I didn't know you. I don't meet strangers unprepared. If you called me from now on I'd know what to expect. Though the way things are going right now I'm not sure there would be much of a different result." Deal spoke. Her hands flexing at her sides, hands opening and closing. She wrankled as he said that she was not worth 10 times as much as Chuck, or that proving so would run her ragged. She wondered again what he could possibly have her doing during the supposed resource of time that would run her ragged. Did he plan on drinking her dry every night. "Fine 3..." SHe was cut off as he continued. She had thought the 3 months would include all but obviously she was mistaken. "One for one.. Are you nuts. I am not giving you the rest of my life." She suddenly snapped. "I am not asking for protection. I protect my own, we protect each other. I am just asking you to leave us the fuck alone. That takes no effort on your part. NONE what so ever. I am offering you a service in return for you to do Jack shit? Is that fair?" Deal breathed. "Four months?" She layed out there. More then she could really afford. But she was g etting desperate now. She knew he would make her life a living hell. Leave her unable to work worrying about protecting Frank and Chuck... perhaps even loosing them to madness if she had to try and stop them from answering his call. She might have to actually kill them herself. It was not something she wanted to do... but one she would do if absolutely necessary for her own survival. |

The lioness continued to move forward if she continued this pace it would only be a matter of time before she found herself in his lap. While on normal circumstances the vampire would not complain about having a beautiful lioness in his lap but not when she was still very hostile in almost every way, though it would make it a bit more interesting. Life was not worth living without it being interesting after all. “Ah, so I am sure you taught him the advanced theories of controlling his forms, of partial shifting parts of his body, of calling upon the beast for increased strength well beyond the hybrid form. Yes I am sure he knows all of this if were to ask him if he had been well taught.” Gerard just shook his head as he listened to the snarling beauty. “Well then I will remember exactly how you respond to requests. Armed and most likely shooting before able to ask question. While that is an admirable trait it does tend to get you into far more trouble than it is worth as I am sure you are finding out.” When she talked about his mental stability he could only offer her a smile and a slight tilt of his head. “Well it is a question of simple math, you asked for me to leave you all alone. If this leopard is worth a third of you and we can assume that the other is the same contingent that means that all together the package is worth one and two thirds of you. I was giving you the benefit in saying one for one to be sufficient but I will go back to my original price of two days of service for one day of non interference.” |

Deal growled as he questioned her ability to teach those that were hers. It wasn't her fault that Chuck did not yet have the strength or will to do partial shifts or the hybrid form. He could stir his beast for power. "He is learning and being taut. I do not leave mine defensless." Deal argued without completely answering. Her face was actually turning beet red as he went on to berate her about her tactics. She was not a fool and did not care if he did not approve of her tactics. She would do whatever was necessary to keep herself and her safe. But he was right in the sense that she had dug herself a seemingly pretty deep hole with him. She was doing her best to protect what was hers but her best was failing her. And that was the frustrating part. Her jaw dropped as he started explaining his math. While Chuck may not be worth so much as a third Frank was worth more having been changed nearly as long as she. Though he was not alpha as she he was at least more competent then Chuck. No need to share that info now. No she would not dig herself even deeper. But his new math was ridiculous. "I cannot live twice as long just to serve you. It is ridiculous. You are stripping me of my entire life. For what?! What do you want from me?" She growled. She suddenly turned around and began pacing a little. Circling even as her hands clenched and unclenched trying to figure if she could get to the steel spike in her bra fast enough to actually use it. "Take me off the table. 3 Months for Chuck back. Then only that you never bother Chuck or Frank again... you can bother the fuck out of me... Just not what is mine. ANd not my whole life. I cannot give it. I will kill Chuck to save him from you and I will deprive you of any resource I can... Give me something reasonable now where I can still live my life as my own." Deal implored. |

Gerard dismissed her response with a hand held up, “Defenseless no but lacking yes. That is not why we are here though we can discuss your training methodology at a later date for right now we are in agreement then. Three months of time, for the transfer of the leopard into your custody. I believe that to be fair trade for both of our sides, do you not agree?” He waited as she started to pace back and forth. The vampire imagined that if he could see her beast it would be doing the same thing within the confines of her body. He did not mind it but it was a very telling feature just how much she was flustered at the negotiation. The more one got upset the less the terms shifted into the others favor. “Well extending one’s life at the request of another can happen quite easily but that is not the point of the discussion. You do not wish to spend two days for a single day of protection and I understand that.” Gerard touched his chin in a fake gesture of thought. “Well by my own math and logic if you are not to be covered in such a way that would make it two thirds of a day for every one you wished protected and to make it more palatable we will say one half. So every other week would not be the rest of your life but still give you full protection.” “This way you will not need to murder the leopard and have it haunt you for the rest of your life. For I would hate for you to suffer so for no apparent reason other than you feel it is better to end someone’s life then let them serve willingly in my house.” |

She paused in her pacing to turn sharply upon him as he spoke of extending a persons life. AS if he could do it. Well she supposed he could if he turned them. But she wasn't pretty sure that lycan's were unturnable. AT least sceintifically they were. She shook her head staring at him as he worked out the new math were her out of the mix. Sure her life would be a living hell probably. But he was bound to get bored or pissed off at her at some point and just not bother with her. Besides the time she was expected to spend feeding him or serving him on a platter or whatever it was that he wanted. Every other week of her life was still alot. If she got a request that required her full attention, her full brain power having a week to work uninterrpted was not enough time. She took a deep breath and tried to speak calmly. "Yes 3 months for the return of Chuck, in as good as health as you took him in. But every other week for the rest of my life is impossible. Sometimes I spend weeks working on a new product. I need more then just a week uninterrupted to do my work. How about one week a month." Deal countered. She still felt like she was throwing her life away. For what. For Pride. Her own pride and her mini Pride. Pride Pride Pride. "Remember I am off the table of being out of your realm. So if you did absolutely positively NEED me when it was not my time to be with you. You COULD call upon me if you needed to. I think that is very Fair. Overly Fair as I still feel as though you are destroying my life and everything I have worked so hard for." Deal stated blatantly. |

It was interesting just how in the dark most mortal’s were about their own lives. There were plenty of ways to extend it to those who look for them, even some outside of the very force that animated him. Still the possibility of a longer life interested the lioness and that was something that he would have to follow up on. The temptation to live forever was great within the minds of mortals but to some it was a curse to others, like Gerard, it was a blessing. The vampire watched carefully as his idea was quickly dismissed from the lioness, it would nag at her slowly eating away at her curiosity he was sure of it. “Very well then we have an accord on the first account, wonderful. Now for the second account I can concede upon the time of one week a month though I am to pick which times that is. Very well and if the time that I call upon you does not fall within that week long period of service you may come to me as you wish if you were not bound to my house in anyway.” He shook his head slightly last the comment of destroying her life, “If I wanted your life destroyed I would have turned both of your men against you so you were forced to kill them by your own hand and that would only be for starters. If I wanted you destroyed it would have happened all ready and you would not be here with me now. If anything I am providing your life with greater purpose a greater direction that you will have dreamed of.” |

Deal actually looked stunned. They had come to an agreement? It had seemed like hours they had been hashing it out. She wasn't exactly thrilled with it. But it seemed the best that could be reached with this monster. His stipulation that he pick the times was minute to Deal. Thinking it simply meant he got to pick which week out of the month was his. She was sure he might, on occassion, pick the last of one month and the first of the next to make it two weeks together. But there was nothing she reallycould say about that. ANd nothing that could be done. She didn't want to haggle anymore for it was sure to bite her in the ass. "It is a Deal then. DO we shake on it?" She asked. Still in a bit of shock. SHe shook her head as he went on to describe how he could have truly destroyed her life. Yes to loose Frank would be a blow to her, but she also didn't believe that ANYTHING could turn him on her. He was in love with her and she knew it. She had saved him and made him everything he was but Deal would not argue now. She would have killed him if she had too. Chuck as well. She had stated that. But she had no doubt Gerard would have wasted his time in destroying her if he felt like it. It would have probably been a fun little game to him too. She moved closer to him hand extended to see their Deal. Deal was accepting the life altering bargain. She perhaps hadn't accepted her fault in it all yet. But she accepted the outcome that needed to happen. |

The negotiation had ended sooner then he anticipated. All of the information he had on this lioness spoke of her stubbornness but never would he have imagined that underneath it all beat the heart of something entirely different. It was a pleasant surprise that would make the next step much easier, a thought that should have been a disappointment but it did not strike the vampire so. It would still be an adventure of sorts but not the one he had expected. “If you wish we can shake on it but the two of us agreeing is all that is required for the negotiation of the subject to be finished. I know it is customary for the shaking of hands of your generation so I will allow such if that will make you more comfortable.” Gerard reached into the breast pocket of his vest and pulled out a single white business card that had the address printed on it in regular black lettering. If the lioness had an intimate study of the city she would recognize it as one of the higher class day spas that only the rich were even spoken to let alone aloud to make an appoint no later than two months in advance. While this woman was most likely worried that her man was being tortured he was instead getting world class massages and treatments that most can only dream of. Though when she moved forward he slid his hand into hers for a firm handshake, his entire hand was warm to the touch with a subtle pulse beating along the inside. To anyone that did not have the razor like senses of the lycan they would be able to think he was in fact perfectly human unless they saw his fangs. His deep blue eyes were looking directly into hers the entire time, his power pulled away to prevent her from falling into them. While he had no doubt that he would be able to take her in such a way it somehow lost part of the fun of the game, the chase. “Is there anything else that you wish to discuss Dhelia? Or shall I show you to your new quarters?” |

Deal sighed as he once again had to point out how he saw her less then him for er age or whatever. She faltered in her moving forward. She watched him pull something from his jacket pocket. Intrigued, she moved forward again. Sliding her hand into his. She smirked at him as he went through the effort of making his hand warm, the slight feel of a pulse mimicked through his palm. She shook her head. "You don't need to pretend to be what you are not with me." Deal accused staring into his eyes. If he wanted to bespell her she was completely aware that he probably could. She was almost daring him too as she stared back. What more could he gain from her by doing that though. She pulled her hand back to find the card within it. She read the address. Knew it well as a spa that would not except her as a client because she had no one to refer her. Though she had the money to be a member with no sponsor she had to submit to a full background check. Which she could not do. "What's this?" She asked holding up the card. Her head shook and snapped nearly spinning around as he spoke of taking her to her quarters. SHe laughed out loud. "Uhh yeah. I will be making sure you return Chuck home safe and sound. My time will not begin until I am assured that Chuck is returned. And why would I need quarters here? Are you just going to be wasting my time leaving me in a room when I come here every night? Really. I would think you could have been more creative then just wasting my time to spite me." Deal said with a sigh. Using the business card to fan herself a little bit. She threw up her hands. "Chuck first... once he's home and safe then you can do whatever it is you wanna do with your new resource." Deal said slapping the card against the palm of her hand. |

Gerard inclined his head only slightly as she spoke, “Do you think that charade was for you? Non, it is a simple habit to get into even more so in times such as these. If you would prefer I can let my touch be like ice across your skin, leaving trails of frost with every touch or do you think something so minor as letting warmth show cost anything at all?” She let him look into his eyes watching the way they tried to stare into him. It was another amusing feature of the would be dominant. She was trying so hard to show him just what she was made of and in the process had revealed everything. “That is where your now man is staying at. You will have to accept my apology I had planned for our negotiation to not conclude for another few moments. I would suspect it would be another ten or so minutes before you receive the word of the condition of your leopard. If you wish to wait I can have refreshments brought in. I am told that the 1741 reds that I have recently acquired are quite wonderful. Would you like a glass?” He leaned back into his chair as she was not quite ready for the tour to begin. Very well his time was not ticking down yet so it was no bother “You are very much correct Dhelia your two thousand two hundred and thirty two hours of being by my side have not begun yet though I trust you will remain faithful to our bargain. After all I could hold your leopard until that time is finished and only give him back then but I know you will hold yourself to our agreement. As he spoke a servant dressed in the usual black dress and the color of the night walked in with the bottle and a single wine glass. Edited by Gerard, Jan 2 2009, 12:12 PM.

Deal held up her hands in submittance as he explained that he hadn't made himself warm and beat for her. But rather out of habit. "I don't know what costs you and don't. If your trying to impress me though..." She shrugged. "Warm yourself... don't I don't care." Deal said. Not fully realizing what she had committed herself to. She looked down at the card as he indicated that it was where Chuck was. She had to laugh out loud at the idea that Chuck had gotten in and gotten treatments before she had. She laughed again as he said he hadn't thought there negotiations would end so quickly. "So sure of yourself. So sure I couldn't kill you." She laughed, almost hysterically now, " Alright I can give you that one. But calculating the time it would take us to negotiate? That's a bit haughty and I am glad to have disrupted your perfect timing. One way or another." Deal laughed. Turning she moved back to her seat plopping down. "Actually a glass of wine sounds lovely." She said smirking widely. A small victory in having messed up his timing but it was a victory none the less. Why did the hours seem like such a long time when stated allowed? She pondered softly. Then the last bit of that hit her. She sat up straighter in her chair. She didn't really hear anything else he said about keeping Chuck. She was too busy doing math in her head. "Wait... Wait a minute." Deal suddenly said standing up as the servant came in with wine and a glass. "2232 hours by your side... No... That's not right. If you want to go by hours it is technically 1116 if your basing night on half of the day. 12 hours of night. The only time I can spend by your side is night. Within three months that would be one thousand one hundred and sixteen hours. By your side...So you won't be locking me away in a room. If I'm here serving my time and you want me by your side... you can't go sending me off somewhere else and then say it gets added on the end cause I wasn't by your side." She once again leaned forward onto her knees in a manly way. "I think mayhaps we should hammer out some rules here before we officially enter in upon this bargain." Deal said she could feel the hair on the back of her neck rising. She could feel something coming. Something she wasn't going to like. ANd something that needed nipping in the bud. |

“Well Dhelia, do you think it is would be prudent let alone wise to tangle with things that I thought could kill me? That does not sound like a good move for me if I wish to see another rise of the moon. So you may call that haughty or just proper planning. As far as the other count well what is life without enough risk to make it mean more. If it truly went longer than I anticipated the call would not have gone through and he would have been detained once more. Since that is not the case we are here.” Then he watched as the moment of dawning comprehension struck the lioness. “How is that not right, if you will recall the exact wording of our agreement was three months worth of time. There was no stipulation of consecutive time or nocturnal time simply time. That was what we agreed to and there is no sense back tracking on it now. As far as locking you into a room I will concede that if it is my choice that you are in the room then that would qualify as time that you can count towards our agreement. Anything else is of your own free will and not able to decrement the time.” The servant left the bottle of wine next to the glass giving the fine red some time to breathe before leaving as quietly as she arrived. “You are more then welcome to speak of the rules and it will provide me time to tell you the rules of my house. Failure to follow those rules well, let us hope that you are not so bullheaded to try my patience in my own house with my own rules. Keep in mind Dhelia that you unless you are prepared to offer me more our previous deal has been agreed upon and set. Which part would you like further explained to you?” He gave her the slight upturn of his lips into what could be called a smirk as he leaned back into the comfortable chair. |

Deal's eyebrows scrunched up as she reran their negotiation back through her mind. She had thought she had caught all his wordings and made them out to work in her favor. How could she have been so stupid?! She growled... hating the feeling of stupidity that overwhelmed her. She considered herself quite smart and to have been made a fool of and taken advantage of made her shake with anger. "SIX MONTHS... SIX MONTHS you bastard. I agreed to three for the first part... Thinking three consecutive months was more time then I could even spare and you've convulted it into 6 months." Deal couldn't help but make her anger known aloud. She laughed that hysterical laughter again. "What more can I offer you. My time seems to be all you want and I don't even FUCKING KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO WITH MY TIME!" There was a crack could be heard as Deal's hands had grabbed the arms of her chair, perhaps a tad too tightly. "Yes Yes explain to me exactly what you will be doing with me. WIth my time that you will be wasting and keeping me away from everything I care about." Deal demanded. She was fighting to keep the tears from her eyes. Frustration, anger and hurt were filling her. Ontop of it all she was still female and she was seeing everything she had spean the last 7 years of her life building crumbling in a night because of one arrogant vampire. She should have gone to the Americas. Not stayed in Europe. "Explain to me your sodding house rules. SO we can get this god forsaken time started as soon as posisble." Deal said her head suddenly tilting back. She would not cry god damn it. |

Gerard had expected anger from the lioness the moment it full crashed down on her but to be able to witness it almost in its primal state was a rare treat. He watched it flow through her body start behind her eyes then move down the spine to her throat causing an almost musical, to his ears at least, growl tat moved lower until her entire body shook with it. There were some that could not play the game if they did not win, the vampire imagined that Dhelia was one of such people. “No Dhelia, it is only three months of time and while it could quite possibly take six months it is quite possible it could take more. I will offer you something though, consider it a gift at no cost, you can bring the entirety of your family here to live if you so wish. To be able to be with them even your labs can be made available so that you are not required to leave them all behind. You may not believe it now but I am kind when the situation warrants and I am not being challenged and made a fool of. So in the end it is not I who will be keeping you away but providing a change of your scenery and access to more resources then you can imagine, even if you are to become one of them.” Gerard heard the splintering of one of the chairs and was correct to make sure his favorite pieces were not put out on display tonight. “Well in the simplest of terms you will be my assistant. Your body, blood, and mind are completely at my disposal for anything that I wish. Now, I will give you my word that it will only be me making claims on such anything else will require your permission to allow. As for the house rules your clothing will be set out for you every night that you are here and the most sacred rule that pertains to you is that you will not waste a single drop of your blood. To waste blood is to waste life, remember that one.” |

"3 months of your time. But six of mine." Deal clamped her mouth shut as she stared at the ceiling. She would not sound like a child whining and she would not cry dammit. A fist pounded against the arm of her chair. Trying to fortify herself. Her head snapped down to stare at him though as he made his offer. She cocked her head to the side, making sure she heard him right. "Access to more resources..." She repeated. Her head shook as she tried to process the offer. "If Frank and Chuck remain away from you. You have no contact with them unless through me. You have no command over them, they can come and go as they please and if I can move my lab my equipment here. SInce it will be... AT LEAST... six months. It would be more convienent to be able to work till the very last minute till I had to be at your side. Rather then wast travel time. Then yes I'd rather move them and my operation here for that 6 months period of time." Deal was still shaking in anger. But even threw her anger she could be reasonable. When he started to explain what she would be doing for him it was still vague. Her eyebrows crinkled together as she was clearly confused about some bits. "So this IS about food for you. My blood. With the addition of my fabulous smart mind. And my skill with combat?" Deal asked to make clear The comment about her body being something he could use as well gave her pause. If he meant sex she wanted him to clarify now so she wasn't taken off guard later. "And your damn right no one else is taking my blood." "Clothes... what's wrong with my clothes?" She said looking down at the destroyed corset top. OHk so she wasn't in the best example. But Deal found dresses complete ridiculous. Either they were too tight to move in, or so loose you tripped over them. Just ridiculous. She saw no need to make comment on wasting blood. She agreed with him on that front an had no inclination to spill or waste any of her blood. |

“The time invested on both of our parts is the same no matter how you wish to phrase it.” She certainly was interesting to watch as she slowly tried to come to grips with what was happening to her. “Yes do you think that my money could be invested into your operation to see what you can come up with, further more access to the notes of my researchers and knowledge banks of the previously mentioned pharmaceuticals could come quite in handy. There is only one stipulation to you gaining access to these tools is that you do nothing that is considered illegal in any country while on the grounds of my property. I will not have a misunderstanding bring the authorities down onto my house. If they come I will be holding you completely responsible for it.” “It is not just about food Dhelia, I have plenty of that available here that is willingly given if I but need it. No but if you are here it would be foolish of me not to give my own servants a rest even to their disappointment. I do not require the skill with blade, fist or gun no I was referring to your body in other more primal ways but if you wish to fool yourself with that then very well. Remember it is within my right to give my resources to those that I deem fit but I will refrain from exercising that right instead letting it be one that requires your permission. We can call it a kindness.” When she brought up the idea of clothes he could only raise an eyebrow. “Your clothes, and your men’s clothes will be picked out and provided for them. They will have no access with me unless it is they who start anything. If you wish I can have their rooms near your labs so that they can monitor your experiments should I require anything of you.” |

Her eyes grew wide with the idea of free money to invest into her work. And others notes. She had a great mind but seeing into the minds of others was already a help. Then every little thing he had offered her that had given her hope, had given her ease he took away with one single stipulation. She shook her head as the anger renewed. "Fucking Indian giver you are. You know full well what I do. You know so fucking much about me. Did you think I was going to move my men, my equipment everything here and suddenly have a change in occupation. Go back into developing a universal lycanthropcy vaccine rather then the differentiated ones." Deal's head kept shaking. "No that's not what I do. AS well you know. Fine then. Just make my life a living hell. See how much fun I'll be at your side every night. With little sleep and worried about work. Remember that it's your doing. You offered to make it easier for me which in the end would benefit YOU. But YOU ask for to much and so you get less." "I'll be here everynight right after sundown. To spend my time with you. Frank and Chuck and my work will stay away from you. No special rooms special clothes for them. They'll moniter my work and handle anything till morning. They won't interrupt. Not when I have so much time to fullfill here." The tears were all but gone as her anger was renewed with him calling not sharing her a kindness. "Sex, blood and smarts. That's what you want me for. That's alot of me. I'm begginning to realize how much I lost in this Deal. I'm starting to think I should have let you keep Chuck... " Deal admitted. "But I don't back out of my deals. And my deal is just for me." Deal suddenly stood. She pulled out her ear peice from the back pocket of her pants. She slipped the peice onto her ear and pressed one on her watch to speeddial. She pulled out the card Gerard had given her. "Frank. Go to <she reads the address> pick up Chuck. Text me that he is in good health and go home. Don't answer any calls tonight. Go into lock down until I get there. Maybe not till morning. I'll explain it all then." Deal waited breifly for a response then hit her watch to hang up with no further comment. She turned back to Gerard. "Arright. Let my time start now then." She said as she removed her ear peice and slid it back into her pocket. |
