![]() Ettore ·· 1072 ·· Master of Florence ·· Sourdre de Sang Surely, it was a disappointment to see such a specimen still looking so.. alive. Rosalie had been a short term project of Ettore's, hundreds of years ago. Just a pretty young girl that'd been worth a little amusement, before more pressing business arose and he'd been forced to leave her behind. Not that she could've been considered 'business' within herself.. A better analogy for her might have been like a board game. He played with her for a little while, before simply pushing her aside and getting back to the real world. She was never supposed to live longer then her normal human life expectency - if even that. He'd almost expected her to go and commit suicide after he left her, on their supposed wedding day no less. Not go and get herself turned. "Ah, Rosalie.. now there's a face that I never expected to see again. I see you're doing well?" And then, she actually had the nerve to try and attack him. It was truly a shame, to see what kind of filth council were keeping as company these days. He'd recognized the Sorrow Eater upon sight, of course. What somebody like himself was doing with a doormat like dearest Rose, well. Ettore wasn't entirely sure he wanted to know. He swept her into his arms as easily as he might've were she still human, twirling her through the air as if they were two lovers in a dance. He held her like a child almost, arms supporting her weight entirely - and restraining her movement all the while. The dance came to a pause as he dipped her down, one hand supporting her back whilst the other held her in place. She was kept in this position for several moments while he made his greeting to the Sorrow Eater, who in his mind, might not even entirely deserve such a formality. Spending time with somebody who'd had as long as Rosalie had to have ruined herself was a dangerous activity - such a degree of dirt simply had to be contageous. It disgusted him to a certain extent, holding her so close to him. In his eyes she was little more then a waste of space, and time - if she hadn't gone and proved the extent of her stupidity so obviously all those years ago, she would have long since been dead by now, as she was intended to be. "You used to be so well trained, Rose; cute, despite being a bit of a doormat. Such a terrible shame that you went and spoiled yourself." His words couldn't even convey the disappointment. Casting her away from himself and back to her 'master', he regained his composure and offered a polite bow to the Sorrow Eater, and a simple grin in Hadrian's direction. "So long as you wish to hang your ornament it may last.. however, should you want me to, I can call it off at any time." It could've been viewed as an almost crucial moment; the decision that Hadrian would make on whether or not to allow Ettore into his wing of the Ossuary, or not. He could of course turn the elder vampire away and leave it at that.. but for whatever reason, Ettore didn't believe that would be a problem. "Congratulations, Hadrian, on your recent rise to council." His tone was as polite as called for in such a situation, and he bowed his head in regard to the Heretic. |
